March Mummas - join us here!

Blueberry! YAY! :happydance:

Morning Sickness got me bad this week  The only thing that has sort of been helping is sucking on hard candies (peppermints) during the day. If it stays bad I'm going to have to ask my Dr. for Zofran at my appointment on Tuesday. I had to miss work on Thursday because my nausea was so bad, and I can't miss more work.

Just a thought you may like to try swapping your pregnancy vitamin suppliament for a different brand... it helped a lot for a friend of mine who turns out was allergic to one of the ingredients and didnt know and that is what was making her feel so sick. It is worth a try maybe?

I'm actually in kinda a sticky situation with prenatals. I have to use one that is iron free because of a blood disorder I have. So far I've only been able to find a iron free prenatal at GNC. Thanks for the advice though, I'll keep my eyes out for others.

Happy Bastille Day! :flower:

As aoverholt already knows... ;) I am on Prometrium (a type of bio-identical progesterone) at 300mg daily through suppositories. My acne is TERRIBLE! I counted 22 zits.. Yes.. 22! I think I am used to having one or two every now and again, but I look like a teenage boy. BUT that said- totally worth it. I would take 10 million times more acne to have this little booboo.

There are tons of us out there with low progesterone. I think the key is catching it! :)

Update on me - Still no real morning sickness and I look like a porn star now. Boobs are fuller and if they didn't hurt so damn much, it would be a win - win! :haha: Appetite is good but I have an aversion to SALAD and most veggies! I made a one my normal salads yesterday for work and I was gagging on eating every bit of it. Things like pasta, baked potatoes, bread, some cereal... are what really sound good to me. Ultrasound to see the heartbeat in 5 days! And today is our 4-years-of-marriage anniversary (been together 8 years!).

How are all of you??

Hey you! I'm hanging in there. Had a pretty good day yesterday. Nausea wasn't as bad and I actually ate a handful of vegetables! Otherwise I just eat carbs too. I try to eat ones that are whole grain and high in fiber as to avoid constipation but it sucks. I miss salads! And fruit :(

Our 3 year anniversary is on Tuesday! Our u/s is tomorrow and we've been together for 9.5 years. We're on quite similar life paths!!! :hugs: craziness!

Welcome to all the new March Mummas!! :hi:

All those due the first week of March, we seem to be in the same boat. Being a huge foodie, I NEVER ever thought Id be hard-pressed to eat enough calories in a day! It's awful :( I hope we all end this misery soon...

I have my 7 week u/s tomorrow morning and I cannot wait!!! FX it's a perfect lil' bean :baby:

I miss the days when I liked to eat!! Went to lunch with DH yesterday and I got a lunch portion of tacos (two soft taco, little beans, little rice). I ate one taco, and about half of the beans and rice and was so full I thought I was going to be sick. My husband was so confused! He couldn't believe that's all I wanted. Dinner I did 1/2 a cornbread muffin, about 1/8 cup rice and the same amount of a chicken and veggie casserole. I did eat some fruit and cereal later but geez!

I also am finding I'm pretty good in the morning but about 5pm I start to lose it. Pounding headache, upset stomach, just wanting to cry. I nearly broke down in the grocery store yesterday. I'm nervous because I'm flying to Denver on Thursday night for my BF's wedding and I'm the Matron of Honor, so lots of duties! I have no clue how I'm going to stay up, let alone not want to cry for everything! I'm also really scared of flying for some reason, even though my doctor said it was perfectly safe!

Also, for the ladies on Crinone, have you had AWFUL discharge from it? I've been on it for almost two weeks. At first I just had some little clumps, white, brown, gray, black. Has a TV US and was good for a day or two and then the clumps came back. Had another TV US on Thursday and was good for a few days (too good actually). Yesterday I went to the bathroom (TMI I know but it was a BM) and I has a tampon sized clump come out of me. I was terrified! I wanted to show my husband but decided not to. This thing was huge and really dark. I know that it can irritate the cervix (I already have a very sensitive one) but geez! I can't be good all clumped up in there for days. I'm too scared to clean myself out but now I'm nervous to go to the bathroom. Anyone else dealing with this? I know that's SOOO TMI but I'm not sure who to ask and I don't want to call my doctor again. I'm pretty sure they hate me!

Aover, I totally empathise re missing the days where you liked to eat! Me too! The amount I am eating has shrunk ridiculously and it sucks :-( gym has also totally stopped atm as between nausea most of the time and being tired, I can't face it :-( when asked if I am happy about being preg, my answer is no atm :-(

I made oatmeal this morning, from scratch on a stovetop - for some reason it appealed to me. Yet I couldn't finish the serving...got SO full I felt like the food was just sitting in my throat. Blah...is it really going to stay like this until week 13/14??? I'm not sure I'll survive!!!

My food aversion has finally kicked in! Nothing sounds good to eat. I had a mini whole wheat bagel with peanut butter and jelly this morning and that was a task to eat.

Let us know how your u/s goes today Mrs.Chezek !

I have the same issue with the Crinone. I think the longer it builds up in there, the more variety of colors you will find too. I would recommend that you clean it out each night. That's what I do and I get really huge clumps out every time. If you're going to be on it for awhile, I think the best thing you could do would be to clean it out at least every couple of days. I've been taking it for more than a month now and I don't even want to know what the situation would be in my vagina if I didn't clean that stuff out regularly LOL.

Hey, welcome LouiseSix! Congrats on your bfp!

I just got my scan letter through today for the 21st August - i'm so excited!! I've been feeling a bit down the last few days due to awful morning sickness and this has perked me up a bit.

Hope you all had a lovely weekend :)

Oops - wasn't looking at the last page of this thread when I posted and missed a load of replies. I'm glad to see i'm not the only one who can't face food atm!!

Okay, so I'm going to ask...how exactly do you clean it out? I am terrified to do this!! I'm being such a baby about it! I know this is helping my blueberry but ugh. I am so not good at this stuff! Any tips would be appreciated!

I just take a finger and sweep it around up there a couple of times haha. The Crinone is definitely not super pleasant stuff but it seems to do the trick which is the main thing!!

Sooo my 7 week ultra sound was this morning and we got to see the heartbeat! Super exciting :wohoo: It finally made me believe that this is really happening! I'm super super happy :happydance: Except for the terrible nausea I'm dealing with today which is definitely putting a huge damper on the excitement. Anyway, trying to stay positive. Attaching my images.

Measured at 6.6mm so estimated age is 6+4. Heart rate was 113.

Think I am managing to eat some more over the last day or two, but I'm not actually Feeling better yet :-/ basically I am still in a slightly freaked out, nauseated grump.

Thanks girls!

My nausea was terrible yesterday but seems a little bit better today. I've succumbed to trying the "eat a couple crackers before you get out of bed" routine and I guess it is helping...I don't feel as bad in the mornings but who knows if that's the crackers or if I just don't feel as bad some mornings! But at this point, I'm willing to try anything

Our 3 year anniversary :wedding: is today and we've got a reservation at a nice restaurant this evening. I really really hope my body cooperates as I know DH is really looking forward to it. I'd feel horrible if I have to cancel our plans! So FX the nausea isn't as bad this evening. I kind of wish I could fast-forward time to September...I know I should feel blessed and try to enjoy every minute of this pregnancy but I'm really tired of feeling ill ALL DAY :growlmad: It sucks!
