May Munchkins 2019

Yikes, I have so much to catch up on but I am super excited to announce that we are having baby boy #3! I am so excited.

We got a call earlier today to say that my NIPT blood work showed XY chromosomes!

So, I’m having a weird side effect.....outside of the all day nausea and vomiting, my new symptom is is finding my partner revolting.

I know it sounds harsh, but it’s true. I don’t find his personality revolting, it’s his smell. His breath smells terrible, his body smells bad, his farts are unbareable, every scent coming from him is just God awful! It’s making me not want to be around him and I feel terrible

Ms: I'm so sorry that you are going through that. I was on another board where people were complaining about the same thing, so you are not alone!

Hoping: So glad your scan went well!

Olivia: Congratulations on the baby boy! I can't wait to find out what our little bean is. How long did it take from your blood test until when they let you know? We'll be doing the tests on the 24th.

I tried to have a relatively relaxing weekend and I thought that my fatigue was actually starting to fade a little bit, and then we had inservice day today and I don't know if it was the sitting all day, or having to give a 30 minute talk (although I didn't think I was super stressed about it), or what, but post-work I am once again on the couch, feeling like moving is way too much effort. I know that I am super lucky to not have had very many symptoms, but I'll be glad when my energy starts to rebound.

I don't have a FitBit, but I'd be freaked out too if anything was outside of the normal. I have quite a lot of anxiety so I tend to avoid over-monitoring things :haha: In most cases, everything is absolutely wonderful. I wouldn't worry too much over it. You can always bring it up on your next appointment. :)

My scan is finally tomorrow! I am soooo excited. Just hoping for a happy, healthy baby with a heartbeat. I have never had a scan this late so I have been on pins and needles. However, my previous losses were all right around 7 weeks and I am 9 weeks now. Hoping that means we're safe.

Flou I'm so sorry hun:hugs: hoping it passes quickly for you!

Olivia super congrats:happydance: I'll update immediately so excited for you! First team blue Munchkin!

MS I'm so sorry hun, I'm a firm believer that a pregnant woman's nose is better than a bloodhound. Have you considered talking with him? Explain that some scent in particular you don't like effects your MS?

Tig I hope your reults will come back quickly as well as your energy. Not too much longer until 2nd tri:hugs:

Sweet congrats!!! :happydance: I hope you have an amazing scan with a super wiggly LO

Since the forum upgrade I’ve completely lost track of all the threads I’m part of :dohh:.

I hope you’re all well. Had our private scan done yesterday and just wanted to share with you all.

Everything is perfect, our dates are exactly as we’d worked them out and we got to see a little heartbeat :cloud9:

My scan was perfect! baby is measuring right on track and was very active! My Doctor also said that my cervix is very long so she does not believe that I have any chance of miscarriage. That was wonderful to hear. :) Baby's heart rate was recorded at 183 bpm. So my due date is accurate at May 12th <3 Looks like I have a little baby Reptar in there :haha:

Congrats sweettart and rainbow on your lovely scan pics. I'm having to wait until 12 weeks but the 30th October hopefully will come soon enough!

Rainbow welcome back and congratulations!!! I hope you've been well awesome pictures!

Sweet congrats to you as well!!! So glad to hear the baby was so active and wonderful news on your cervix. So happy for you!

 Hi everyone! Sorry I've been a bit MIA. I went away for the weekend with friends and haven't had a chance to catch up since! Loving all of the scan pics :cloud9: Only 2 more weeks for mine!

Not much to update here - MS has hit me full force though! No vomiting, but I'm nauseous all day long! I'm even waking up in the night feeling it! It's worse than with either of my other two kiddos. I had food aversions with both but little nausea and no vomiting. I can't wait for this phase to be over!

I hope the 30th comes along quickly for you Flou!

Thank you Conundrum!

My doctor actually prescribed something for my nausea. It's a tiny pill that melts on your tongue. It takes care of the nausea for hours. I have been taking two a day and it is so nice! I have never had this much of a problem in previous pregnancies, and not having to burp every 30 seconds is rather lovely. :haha: I have also been able to eat and drink more which will make my doctor happy.

Olivia it hasn't been showing when multiples come up  still having to get used to it here

Bella hope you had a fabulous time, and I hope the 2 weeks breeze by :hugs: I also hope MS clears up soon.

Sweet that sounds amazing, and it is nice to hear that it actually works!

:happydance: made it to 10 weeks, our next appointment is next Friday. FX we get another scan. MS is finally clearing up but the food aversion are holding firm .

Hi all!

So glad to see people having awesome scans!

Had my scan yesterday and saw the heartbeat fluttering away in there at 166 bpm! However, based on the measurements I actually ovulated a lot later than I thought (I have PCOS so I had a feeling that might be the case as my cycles aren’t very regular). The doc didn’t seem concerned but my due date is now May 24th if that could be updated for me? :)

I would attach a scan pic but I don’t actually know how to on here!

I feel like I have been gone for days. This exhaustion is really taking a toll on me. I wake up to get my oldest daughter on the bus, fall back asleep (like deep sleep) for another 45 mins- hour and then by 2 I am fighting to keep my eyes open at work, come home around 4 and I pass out. I dont ever remember being this tired before.

I saw some update scans, so happy and excited for each of you. So jealous of the one who already knows she having a boy....im rooting to join you!!!

Scan is Monday and I can't wait!!

Knelso congratulations on a great scan so happy for you

Bella thank you!

JL I'm so sorry about the tiredness. Does your multi have a good supply of B's? Really hoping it gets better soon hun. I'm with you for team blue though:haha:

Hi ladies, sorry I've been MIA. I have been referred to a specialist OBGYN that specialises in high risk multiple pregnancy due to previous complications such as IC, PPROM, GD and now having the gastric sleeve. I will be seeing her on Monday and she will scan me again (yay) I would be 9w1d. I have a follow up scan the following Saturday making me 10-ish weeks just to monitor growth and make sure my cervix stays in place. The problem is that this OBGYN is going to cost an arm and a leg, her fees are $8500 (AUD)! and is not covered by insurance. I was hoping to go through the midwife clinic but that is not an option for me at the moment. They are also thinking of stitching me up at around 16 weeks and probably very strict bed rest 24 weeks onwards. I'm just glad that this will not interfere with my work (I work as a full time teacher) as I will be on our Summer break when I am 18 weeks along.

I have also booked our gender scan on the 17th November when I am 14 weeks and we are so excited! We will be having a gender reveal party organised by my sister and we cannot wait!

On another note, call me crazy but I swear I can already feel a bubble popping sensation already! Could it be my twins already kicking and punching one another in there??

That's a lot of money BlueMoonBubba! I hope that special doctor is able to keep you and your babies safe and healthy. <3

I can only imagine how excited you are

They could be! Some women swear on being able to feel their babies early on. My doctor told me that it's also not uncommon for the uterus and surrounding structures to have little muscle spasms which can feel like movement. I always wonder when I feel something in that general area though! The earliest I have ever felt one of my babies for sure was 14 weeks. It was too consistent to be anything else. :) My aunt has twins and they are really close to each other. They do bicker but not as much as her other children.

Blue welcome back :hugs:. Like Sweet said, wow that's expensive! I agree though I hope everything goes well and you all stay safe and sound.

Sweet very lucky, the earliest I've felt is 16 weeks, two out of my three so far have been anterior though so maybe I'll get lucky this round.

Hope everyone is doing well!
