Moms of April/May/June 2010 babies thread! :)

Ooops just realised my blooper in the last post
Hannah - CONGRATULATIONS I hope Hannah had an ok night with her sore gums

I, of course, mean Amelia :dohh:

Evening!

Hannah - Congrats on the future wedding! :flower:

Fru Fru - Wow Joni, fantastic job sleeping through! :flower::happydance::flower:

We are having similar success with Roh he's sleeping 7pm to 7am now, occasionally has a little grumble somewhere in the night, but appart from once or twice i've left him and he settles down  This morning he woke up at 7am, but i really didn't want to get up  so i left him, and he played in his cot until 7.30am when i finally hauled myself out of bed. When i got up i found he'd been herding his dummys (we have 5 in the cot so he can always find one in the night) He had his favourite one in his mouth, and the other 4 all in a little pile in front of him and he was having fun fiddling with them :haha: I was going to wean him off the dummy, but he's suddenly learnt to find one and pop it in himself if he wants one, so i've left it, seeing as he's only interested in them as he's falling asleep ;)

I just got home from my spa day! I feel absolutely amazing!!!! :cloud9::cloud9::cloud9: so lovely, i had a nice breakfast, then used the spa. Then i had a facial, followed by a super lunch (would have been a little better if my boss hadn't happened to be in the restaurant there, i felt a bit odd, as i'd cried off work this week seeing as i'd been ill! ) then i had a full body massage, and then sat and relaxed in the tea room. Then i popped over to the bar and treated myself to a baileys hot chocolate  Such a fab day! I'm really feeling like a new woman! :D

:hugs::hugs::hugs: to you all :)

Well, was expecting to come home to a nightmare child and a frazzled OH, but i have to say, whatever he did with Roh today he's done a brilliant job, Roh drifted off to sleep like a dream tonight! Dead proud of them both. :happydance: It might also help that i'm feeling so chilled, often i can feel quite stressed by bedtime, and i'm sure that must rub off on Roh.
I'm actually trying to think of the last time i felt this good, and i genuinely can't remember, definately well before i got pregnant!

Everyone, you all need to go have a day off in a spa! Seriously it should be handed out by the government when your baby hits 7 months!! :haha:

On another note, we actually DTD last night! I've been a bit scared about it since my MC as we aren't using any protection. Now i'm torn about going to get the morning after pill or not  what do you think?

:hugs:

Hey everyone just a quick catch up from me as I'm still not feeling great but I am graduating tomorrow! I also had my hair cut and had a fringe cut and I love it! ... I will post some pics on my facebook tomorrow incase anyone is interested.

Hope everyone is ok. Sorry for very quick message I need to get a days supply of stuff together for tomorrow so I am ready for a long day!

emera - glad you had such a good day :hugs::hugs: well deserved treat for you :flower: and well done to Roh's daddy for going such a great job! How would you feel about being pregnant again? Do you know where you are in your cycle?:hugs:

H&F - lovely to hear from you, I'd been thinking about you :hugs: would love to see fringe pics  hope you enjoy graduating xx

Alex and I had our last baby massage session today (which was actually baby yoga) I'm really sad its finished, Alex loved it. Still no AF for me but feeling much better. The Midwife that does the baby massage also does little extras and this time we talked about contraception  people had such different experiences with their 6 week checks! she said bf is 80% effective as contraception and that you ovulate for the first time after baby before you get AF back so you are fertile before you realise. She said thats what normally catches people out. :winkwink:

Amy - I've never had a clue about my cycle, its always been totally unpredictable and varies from 10 -52 days! Its why it took us 6 years to concieve Roh! Well, that and OH's lazy :spermy: .
The witch :witch: hasn't been since my MC so i've no clue where i'm at  I'm really torn, part of me wants to be pregnant, as i really don't want to wait another 6 years, but then also i'm so scared about another MC. And if i'm being really realistic, we aren't in the best position to have no2 right now. Argh, its so difficult! This is why i've been avoiding :sex: !!!

Glad you enjoyed the baby massage /yoga, Roh and I both really enjoyed our course too, i was really sad when it finished aswell.

Evening ladies!

Well done Joni!!!! I hope tonight goes well too - fantastic job FruFru!!

H&F Enjoy your graduation! I'm thinking about getting a fringe cut in too, so I'd love to see pics!!

Emera gosh your day sounds amazing!! I could soooo do with that. Actually just getting a massage and my hair and nails done would be amazing. I might talk nicely to Steve :haha:

Amy will you keep in touch with any of the other mums from baby massage? Do they do baby club where you go too?

We went to baby club this morning which was fun as always :) When it was over Oliver and I ended up going shopping with one of the other mums (who we meet on a Friday sometimes for coffee / walks). It was so nice, we sat in Starbucks for ages chatting and the babies were so good, they are getting to know each other now I think and really interact, its lovely :) So we had a really nice time.

Some other good news, I e-mailed one of the photographers I used to work with a lot yesterday, I sent quite a lot of business his way because he was fantastic to work with, a really lovely guy and an absolutley brilliant photographer. I just e-mailed letting him know what I'm doing now with the weddings, and telling him about Oliver. I also asked him about his portrait photography as I'd love to get some professional pics done of Oliver with Steve and I. Well he e-mailed back today and has offered to do a shoot for free so we just pay for the prints. I know for weddings he's about £4k, he's so good, so I'm really pleased! He's not one of these who charges a silly amount for prints either. I think we're going to do it in January, yay!!

Well I'm just taking a break from doing some marketting stuff so I really need to get back to it :dohh: I feel like I never stop . . . . I love it though so I can't complain and hopefully it will all be very worth it in the long run :)

xx

emera - :hugs: it sounds silly me saying this considering my current predicament but I cant imagine chosing to try for a baby (all mine were accidents! , money is always tight for us and I'm not sure i'd have ever felt the time was right) but I feel like things are the way they were meant to be with my girls and alex. There's 15 months between Emily and Holly and they are the best of friends and so close. I totally understand your fear of another Mc too. One of the reasons I am terrified I am pregnant now is that I found my pregnancy with Alex really stressful and I was petrified the whole time he would die (he had a very big NT measurement and I had to have lots of extra scans). I'm not sure I could cope with that again :hugs:

haha sarah you sneaked in again while I was typing

sarah - there are a couple of mums that also go to babyclub. I'll have to make myself socialise more and chat to them. my friend who has a baby reckons making friends with other mums is like dating - you just have to put yourself out there! so true :haha:
Fab news about the photo shoot! I'm so jealous :winkwink:
I had a fringe cut last year (pic attached) but dh hated it and I grew it out. I just need an image overhaul now, I look so drab and fat.

Hah Amy, you're dead right about the making mummy friends, not that i remember what dating was like really, but its pretty daunting just striking up conversations for the first time!

I'm so with you about the image overhaul, i look shocking (although my skin is better since today) I haven't had a haircut since i was 6 months pregnant, that was like, 9 months ago or so, its not a good look. Plus barely any of my old clothes fit, and as i'm skint i'm still in mostly maternity clothes or trakkie bums :dohh: Oh and you look lovely in that piccie!

I had a fringe last year, and i loved it! I'm glad its grown out though as i'd never bother sorting it out these days so would end up with a permanant bandana day :haha: Here is mine!

my OH has ruined a perfectly good evening by making a horrid comment! he thinks he's always right and wont listen to my thoughts on the matter :grr: he's pissed off to the bedroom and i'm in the living room but desperate for some  owen's just fallen asleep on me after waking 2 times.

Oh Maybe! :( you need :hugs::hugs::hugs:

Can you snooze on the sofa? Not great but might help a little :hugs:

emera - woo sexy lady! you look fab with a fringe! I wouldnt mind having mine back but fringes dont suit fat faces do they? :haha: I've got a haircut booked for next weds but I'll probably say just trim it :dohh:

maybe - sorry about your DH :growlmad: boot him out of the bed or just get in with him. men!!! :dohh: I am officially too scared to test  DH doesnt seem fussed either, i was sure he'd be forcing me to test like he did last time. I'll wait it out a bit more. I know I'm an eejut :dohh:

owen's awake again so feedin him on sofa. OH is lying in the middle of the bed :grr:
