Moms of April/May/June 2010 babies thread! :)

Hi ladies!

We've been out all day and I am sooo tired! Just waiting for dinner to cook, I think when I've eaten I'll be off to bed!

Sorry to not do a proper catch up, I'm shattered, I'll be back properly tomorrow!!

xx

My shoulder isn't good and my back is playing up now, think this is what comes of having such a heavy baby
I feel so lucky to have her. I don't know, an awful lot of the time I feel like a single mum and we're arguing an awful lot (he's possessive, clingy and ultra jealous- I forgot all this as he wasn't this way when I was pregnant). But Daisy is just a little ray of sunshine, strangers stop me in the street to say how cheerful she is  she never fails to cheer me up!
I've read back but can't really remember, sorry ladies!
I don't know I'll ever get married, but if I do I doubt it will be in a church, I just don't have a big enough family! My dream wedding would be in the cathedral in Dublin though, it's beautiful.
Daisy doesn't talk :( she just squawks and does a good impression of speaking Chinese!
Today she fell asleep on the rug in my mums living room :cloud9: but when I watch her sleep, every time she opens her eyes and she's wide awake iykwim? Like the second she opens her eyes she's got excited arms and legs and is babbling. Is there any way to fix that?! I think it's why she wakes me up so much at night :(

hi all yesterday we went to spain to watch dylan play rugby. i'll put some pics on fb. last night my sis came round and i cooked a lamb roast and we watched the x factor. it's a nice day but dr said to keep owen indoors til tomorrow so maybe i'll bake a chocolate cake. he's got an awful cough and his breathing sounds awful tho dr said his chest was clear. will take him back tomorrow to be sure. he's still pooing every night between 4-5am! am not happy about that!!!

Morning girls :hi:

Amelia's still sleeping really well :happydance: She's still really cranky and I think the teething's getting worse :( She's just learnt this new thing spitting instead of dribbling :haha and it goes everywhere! She's still on her porridge and likes it more each day :) Thinking of trying something new tomorrow but have no idea what try, she's got some jars but i don't know whether to try them?

Also we've just set the day and booked our wedding :cloud9: Amelia's going to be our flower girl
We've also booked our honeymoon, which is not going to be much of a honeymoon more of a family holiday :flower:

Hope you girls are all well

Hey all,

Hannah -we tried Amy on jars and she loved them but they are sweeter thann normal food so when I started cooking fresh she took a little while to transfer back onto normal food! Just mash up a banana or stew some apple or pear so its really mushy - thats what Amy loved to start with!

Also your getting married a fortnight after me and OH are due to get married! We are having a church wedding in a small local village church followed by a reception at a lovely little country house hotel!

I am still in agony - Dave wants to call NHS direct and wants me to be seen by another doctor because I am losing more blood than I did when I bled after Amy. Not really sure what to do.

I also feel really bad because I weighed myself this morning and I have put on about 6lbs in 2 weeks I have just been eating anything and everything but now I feel really guilty and I just want to eat more ... I am sitting now trying to avoid going anywhere near the kitchen as I will just pick up food and stuff it in my face, yesterday I ate 4 pieces of bread and butter before I ate my dinner.

How is everyone getting on?

Hope - We've got some apple and banana puree in a jar and I was thinking of trying her on that for a couple of days, do you warm it slightly? also how long can keep jar in the fridge?

I think you should try to see another doctor if you're worried hun, better to be safe than sorry :hugs:

I'm ok today, Amelia's cranky again today :( OH says he thinks he can see/feel teeth coming through, I hope so! :haha:

h&f - i agree with dave. get checked out hun :hugs:

hannah - when's the date of your wedding? where r u going on honeymoon?

just put choc cake in the oven. erin loved baking it and licking the kenwood beater and spatula!!! dylan wasnt interested in baking today he just wants to eat a piece :haha:

Maybe - 10th September 2011 only 9 and half months away! says in my sig I think :haha:
We're going to Majorca for a week 3 days after the wedding with Amelia :) Hopefully she'll be walking by then :)

this thread nearly has 30,000 views

hannah - if you dont put the spoon in the jar you can keep the unused portion 24hrs. if you dip the spoon you contaminate the jar with saliva so need to throw the rest. pour half into a bowl and stick the rest of the jar in the fridge

Maybe - Thank you I was wondering about that :) Was going to try her with a jar tomorrow but I think I might wait a few days, she didn't seem to keen on her porridge today :(

hey all -

Hannah - where abouts are you going in Majorca on honeymoon? What have you got sorted for your wedding so far? Would be nice to keep in touch to make sure I havent forgotten anything especially as the weddings get closer!

I havent been to get checked out yet but I think I might have to because the pain is getting worse but I have no idea what to do with Amy ... would a hospital let her stay with me?

Hi

Hope you've all had a good weekend! It's been very quiet on here...

Maybe glad you had a nice day yesterday and really hope Owen is feeling better poor little man. Erin looks gorgeous and cheeky with the cake mix, that brings back happy memories - that was always the best bit! I want chocolate cake now..

H&F that really does sound like you should get it checked again, that doesn't sound right. I think you've had a bloody good excuse not to be so strict with your diet - you need it right now xxx

Katie sorry to hear you're not feeling too good, but glad you are enjoying Daisy so much - it's lovely isn't it, Will is just getting better and better. He spent his entire bath blowing rasberries - because he can, it was so funny! He's now in bed doing it... Not sure what to suggest about Daisy waking up hun sorry.

Hannah congratulations on setting the date - now the fun begins!

We have had a nice day, I went to a bodybalance class this morning and my body was not balanced at all. Daddy successfully put Will down for a nap, while I was out and is now an expert in childcare and has been sharing his new found wisdom all day!

We took Will swimming, he really enjoyed it but is quite cautious, he spent the whole time sucking his armbands. He's really suffering with his teeth at the moment, not sure it can get much worse, I really hope that means one's nearly here.

My DH is off tomorrow, so we're of to town for Christmas shopping although we are really skint this month, not sure where it goes.

Hope you are all well.....come frufru I'm dying to hear about your weekend! Really hope it was good and Joni was good for Daddy.

xxxx

Crikey H&F not sure what they would do I think I would insist!!

Hope - They should do if you haven't got anyone else to look after her :flower:
We're staying in a hotel in Alcudia, I've always stayed there in the past and it's a really nice place :) We was thinking of going for 2 weeks but then thought it would be too tiring for Amelia, so we're only going for a week. At the moment we've only sorted the date, venue and honeymoon, and I'm hoping to look at dresses in the next few weeks as long as I can find someone to go with :) Do you have facebook hun?

L-C - Thank you :flower: I know! 9 months to go! eeek! and we've only sorted venue, honeymoon and set the date lol.

H&F, I don't think they will, I know a lady who does foster care and she often has children for a few days while their parents are in hospital. Not that I'm saying that will happen to Amy, just that's what I know about it? Wouldn't your OH be able to have her?

Evening!

H&F get checked out hun, these things can turn nasty so better be safe than sorry. Just take Amy with you if no one can take her, I'm sure it would be fine :hugs:

L-C I hope you have a nice time shopping tomorrow! Swimming sounds fun!

Katie I'm sorry things are difficult for you at the mo :hugs: I'm glad you are loving been a mummy though :hugs:

We've had another pretty busy day! We went back to Harrogate, I saw a coat yesterday but didn't buy it, and then decided today that I wanted to try it on again :dohh: So we went back. and I got it. Its lovely, this is it:

I have to have a big sort out of coats and a trip to the charity shop, I think I've got about 20, whoops!
Oliver is still teething I think, but STILL no sign of any teeth!!! Poor little fella :( Last night he woke up crying quite a few times, and then at 7am was wide awake so Steve got up with him so I could have a few more hours, which was lovely!
Tomorrow I have a few errands to run, and we need to get some things done around the house. The weather forcast for next week is horrible though!!

Well I hope you are all well :hugs:

Katie- He prob will have her .... I just cant bare to be away from her, we are never apart and the longest I have left her for is about an hour. How are you feeling now? Daisy looks gorgeous on your facebook pictures.

Hannah - We are going to puerto pollenca I think - prob for two weeks but not sure yet!

L-C sounds like you had a lovely day, my OH likes to do that if he manages to do something with Amy he then goes on about the best way to do things!

Really hope everyone is ok. I am just waiting for some dinner whilst watching X factor.

Sarah we crossed posts - glad you had a lovely day ... that coat is lovely. I am hoping that Dave bought me a coat from Debenhams for christmas it was in the sale fingers crossed!

Not sure what I have planned for the week ... really depends how I am feeling - still havent been checked think D has called the doc out again but not sure.

Hi all,

H&F - you should definately go to the doc hun, I know that a partial miscarriage is not good for you. If there are any remnants you need to have it cleared away. My friend has just had a missed miscarriage and they told her its day surgery to have the operation (D&C). dave should be allowed compassionate leave for that so he can look after Amy. :hugs::flower::hugs:

maybe - love the baking pic, my girls still look like that after cooking and they are 9 and 10 :haha:

Hannah - aww thats lovely you've got so much sorted for your wedding already! I've always fancied Majorca and it will be a familymoon like we had which was really lovely (we went to fuerteventura for ours :hugs:).

LC - glad Will enjoyed swimming and that Will's dad did so well with him :winkwink: x

Katie - poor you with your "Daisy shoulder". I know I used to have biceps of steel when emily and Holly were little. Hopefully Daisy will be an early walker! x

well Alex has a stinking rotten cold, he's really struggling to breathe and has been snotting, dribbling and clingy all day bless him. had no sleep last night and not expecting much tonight either!

still no AF, DH finally blew up about it and said if I am its all my fault for stopping the pill :saywhat: he was livid with me for not testing but i told him if i am I wouldnt abort it. he said I'll be a single mum if so.... I know I should test but i'm scared........
