Moms of April/May/June 2010 babies thread! :)

Oh and Maybe, fingers crossed for the interview!! When will you find out?

Thanks Maybe :hugs:

I've snapped myself out of it :haha: :dohh:

Oliver and I popped to the shops to buy a birthday pressie for the party on Saturday, my friends little girl is one so I bought a cute summer dress from Monsoon. I got some summery stuff for Oliver too, I think they thought I was a bit weird buying loads of boys stuff and a dress :haha:

Its sooooooo lovely and sunny today!!! I was looking at clothes while we were shopping but I didn't buy anything for me, I need to go through all m$y summer stuff - I packed it away when I got pregnant and didn't even bother getting it all out last year as I doubt any of it would have fitted. It should be okay now so I need to go through it all and see what I've got! :haha:

i need to look at what i have too sarah but i think a lot needs replacing! :dohh: i love monsoon stuff but they only stock baby girl stuff here. they will bring boy stuff only if you order it and pay first and it takes about a month i think :dohh: i need to go and :hangwashing: :iron: danny's work stuff and :dishes: but i am soooooo putting it off :haha: owen is stirring too :dohh: oh oh there he goes! bye for now!

phew done the :iron: cleaned up kitchen and have last load of :laundry: in the tumble drier  now for a :coffee: and celebrity juice :)

Hello!! I have just spent the whole evening catching up with you all!! I have been on holiday - hence my absence!!! xx

Hope you had a fab holiday Mork!!!

Maybe you've been busy as normal I see! You make me feel tired just reading about what you've been doing!

I've just been sorting out Oliver's bigger clothes and my summer stuff. I wanted to see what I'd already bought in 12-18 months for Oliver so I know what he needs still. Well I had more than I thought  I have already bought 19 sleepsuits (except its summer so he probably won't even use them ), 12 pairs of jeans / trousers, 9 pairs of shorts, 14 tshirts, 4 outfits, 2 hats. 2 pairs of shoes, sunglasses, a zippy hoody, 2 shirts, and a fleece   So I think I just need vests    I also have more summer stuff than I remembered and I've sorted out a ready-to-burst-holdall-full of stuff that I need to ebay or something. When I get around to it :dohh:

I also have loads of stuff for Oliver in 18-24 month winter stuff . . . including two coats . . . well its good to be prepared

sarah - you didnt need a slap! jsut a big :hugs: and some chocolate. i am always grumpy when I miss babyclub and its so annoying when you think your car is sorted and then ends up being really expensive :growlmad: Ahhh I really need to go summer clothes shopping for Alex and the girls and I really have no clothes either!

maybe - fingers and toes crossed for you! you're an interview pro now so I bet you were fab :flower: I'm watching celebrity juice on ITV2+1 - love it  you are a domestic goddess :winkwink:

mork - ooo lucky you, I wondered where you'd got to! did you go anywhere nice? :flower:

Today we had a work lunch out which was nice. I then got alex early from nursery and the girls from school and we all chilled in the garden in the sun. I really need to get alex a sunhat! he's looking tanned already :dohh:

sarah - - thats so organised! I think I have 2 outfits for Alex so far for 12-18 months. They both look massive though!

Amy the thing is that I usually forget I have stuff and then by the time I find it its too small   Plus the sizes vary sooooo much, some of the t-shirts look HUGE but the outfits are all Mamas & Papas and would probably fit him pretty soon :dohh: Some of his 9-12 is still on the big side too.

yeah I find that, mothercare seems to come up small here. I have one t-shirt with ALEX written on it thats like a dress on him :haha: That reminds me i've still got to book his 10-12 month check :dohh: Alex hasnt been weighed since he was 4 1/2 months old! I see Oliver is 11 months old tomorrow  :hugs:

Yeah 11 months, I can't believe it!! Steve and I keep looking at him and saying awwww, look how big he is! Look how grown up he looks! I'm still soooo besotted :) Only a month until he's one . . . . what a year its been!!!!!!!

Oh, and Oliver was the same, not weighed since he was 4 1/2 months!! He's still nicely just about the 75th percentile though.

I was thinking about this the other day actually, because since Oliver was about a month old he's been on the 75th percentile, when he was born he was on about the 9th  I was measuring small for the last month or so of my pregnancy and no one was concerned. Like I was about three weeks behind at one point. I don't think I ever measured more than 35 weeks. Even when I saw a Dr in hospital (when I went in because I was concerned my waters were leaking, but they weren't) he just said it was a small baby because I was small . . . but he's not a small baby now?!? I'm not sure he was growing properly, which might be why he was 5 days early too.

besotted!! thats the perfect word. My friend is due the same day Alex was due and I cant believe how much we've experienced in a year. I'm so excited for her, she already has a two year old and this is another little boy :happydance:

Aw besotted is perfect-well usually-my lo has been a nightmare waking every hour from 12-4 and then wanting to play from 4 - she is still awake now! Ah don't tell her but yes I am still besotted!!!
As for clothes- I have so much stuff right up to age 2, mostly because mil keeps buying outfits in sales. But yesterday I put on one of her 0-3 dresses from last summer and it still fit!?!
Hope you all have a good day x x

Awww Amy that's so lovely for your friend! You are so right, we have experienced SO much this year, every day has been amazing!!

Well I am sooooo annoyed! Steve came to bed at five and woke Oliver up. He has a torch thing on his phone and I don't thinl he realises how bright it is (I have told him before though :grr:) so he shone the light at Oliver and I when he came into the bedroom, woke us both up, talked to us both about his night at work etc and then rolled over to go back to sleep. Obviously by this point Oliver was wide awake, I've just spend an hour trying to get him back to sleep but although he was obviously tired he was also pretty excited and kept wanting to chatter away, bless him. So since Steve is up again at half ten Oliver and I have ended up getting up. Plus Steve was huffing and puffing and then said 'oh I'll just get up shall I?' In a really pissed off voice, I said no I'll get up with Oliver but maybe you could try not walking him up in future? :grr: :grr: :grr: At least with Steve working at one Oliver can nap in bed this afternoon and I can too :haha: :haha:

sarah :grr: to steve waking oliver :( men!!!! does he honestly think you want a chat at 5am?

amy - i'm not a domestic goddess  i spend ages pottering but then it looks like i've not done much :dohh:

mork - where did u go on holiday?

well today i'm meeting a friend who's been in uk for 2 months! it's going to be an all day catch up :haha: her LO is 3wks older than owen but they were due 5 days apart except she was 2/3wks early and owen was 10days late!
