Evening!
Maybe how was your day? I hope you got a nap at some point but I bet you were running around all day
I can only imagine how hard the sleep training is but stick with it honey, I am sure it will be worth it really soon! Can you speak to Danny and ask him for a lay in on one of his days off? He must see how exhausted you are, it makes me mad that he can see the woman he loves it so tired and not step in to help
Well Danny will have company in the shed tonight
Steve has two days off at the moment (today and tomorrow). I've hardly seen him for the last four days because he's been working extra almost every day. So I've been really looking forward to his days off - which he knows. Today he was going to get up with us but got up three hours later. Fair enough - he only got about four hours sleep the night before because he worked so late - so I didn't mind so much. I'd sooner he got some sleep and wasn't a grump
So today has been quite nice, the weather has been lovely again so Oliver and I were sat outside quite a bit while Steve did the garden, but he's absolutely full of cold, poor baby
He's still been quite cheerful but I could tell he wasn't his normal self. So tomorrow I said to Steve it would be nice to have a day off working in the garden and go to the coast or something, since the kids are all back at school it shouldn't be too busy. But he can't, because he has a funeral in the afternoon. It's someone he worked with and she was lovely, so he absolutely should go, so thats fine. But he's meeting some other people at work and they are sharing cars and all going together which I'm not so happy about. Not that I've said anything. But I imagine he won;t be back until 6pm at the earliest. So I said well maybe we can do something nice in the evening? Except he's already arranged to go playing snooker in Leeds with his friend
He only tells me all this today, when I ask. If I hadn't asked, I expect he would have told me when he needed to get ready. I sit on my own for five evenings a week as it is, and now every flippin week he goes out with his friend, so I now spend 6 evenings a week on my own
So he said well tonight we'll have a nice meal, then watch a film or something, so I thought well at least thats something. So what happens? While I was putting Oliver to bed another friend turns up
Fair enough, this friend tends to just show up if he knows that Steve's not working, but Steve KNEW he was going out tomorrow so why did he not just say well I'm off Monday Tuesday but we've got plans? He KNOWS what his friend is like! And he most likely won;t leave until about 3am, so Steve will stay in bed for half of tomorrow too
If the boot was on the other flippin foot it would be a different story
So thats seven evenings a week on my own. I'm so pissed off!!! I am so annoyed. I wish he would think about I must feel sometimes. Its not like I spend all day with people at work. Unless I arrange to see my family or friends (which I only ever do when Steve is at work or asleep) or go to groups I never see anyone. I am soooo happy working from home but I never thought it would be asking too much to actually spend some time with my husband
Phew, rant over!!!!! Someone cut the electric to the shed though will you?
