Moms of April/May/June 2010 babies thread! :)

maybe - how frustrating about the hotel :trouble: :grr: the new hotel looks lovely and how nice for you to have something like that to look forward to :happydance:

sarah - well done for sorting the rooms out  I really need to do that in our whole house in general but its such a huge task i cant face it :haha: hope you got your cheques paid in :hugs:

LC - thats so true! Alex is also covered in bruises, we had another fall today, again curteousy of Emily :dohh: another bash to his mouth after she threw him forward again with over zealous playing! His mouth was bleeding  hope you're ok :hugs:

well Holly was thrilled with her bike :cloud9: we went to watch the upper school play and were able to take Emily and Holly home early afterwards so we went for a bike ride/walk. Then we had tea at the pub, Alex fell asleep in his high chair, it was only 6.45pm but he was pooped :haha:

Evening!

Amy I'm glad Holly liked her bike and had a good day :) Poor little Alex :hugs: I hope tomorrow is bumb free for him :hugs:

Maybe the new hotel looks fun! Will Owen just stay up later while you are away? We are really going to have to keep to Oliver's bedtimes while we are away, so no evening strolls I don't think. In a good way I think we'll save a lot by not eating out so much :haha:

I have three weddings this weekend - one tomorrow, and two on Saturday, so I've been busy trying to get everything sorted for them. I also just spent the past half an hour looking for a hairbrush, Oliver is obsessed with them and hides them, so ii bought a new one, and now that's gone too!!! I've looked everywhere - in amongst his toys, under the sofa, in the letterbox, behind the TV, they have all just vanished! So I have damp unbrushed hair. That's going to look nice tomorrow!!! :haha:

Right, I'm off to sleep, love to you all!! Xx

Well, i'm almost certain that Roh has chicken pox, he's starting to look really yucky, poor little man he has loads round his mouth :( i say i'm almost certain....i took him back to the doctors today, on the plus side his chest is sounding better and the temperature is gone, so he's much more cheerful and like his normal self. On the bad side, even though alot of the spots of his rash are blistered and the first few have gone scabby, the doctor wouldn't commit to a diagnosis as most of the spots are on his head arms and legs and not on his body, which is apparently typical. :dohh: Really annoys me that just because its not totally textbook she won't diagnose. I hate not knowing what's wrong with him, and if its not chicken pox then what the hell is it, because its horrible! :grr: i hate Roh's doctor, she's so wet, i think i'll just take him to see mine in the future, at least she has some balls!

What do you all think, here's a picture from this morning when it wasn't quite so bad as now....

Blah, i'm a little stressed and tired, and i can't sleep, i guess as i'm all wound up. I'm really feeling like i need a day off at the moment. Everything right now is feeling a bit much. Ah well, probably better if i stop feeling sorry for myself and get on with things!

:hugs:

Hmmmmn, have you considered hand foot and mouth disease (what with it being around the mouth?)

emera i was thinking the same as insomnimama. it could be hand foot and mouth. if it is chickenpox they should blister up after a couple of days.

sarah we wont keep to bedtimes but hopefully he'll fall asleep in his buggy when we're out and about :haha:

amy glad holly had a good bday and liked her pressie!

insomnimama how are you?

well am going to meet a friend in a while for coffee and so the kids can play.

Awwww Emera I have no idea but poor Roh! He is still super cute though!

Morning all -

Emera - I have no idea what it is but like Sarah said he is still gorgeous.

Sarah - Good luck with the weddings over the weekend. It sounds like your buisness is going really well. I have my weight watchers leader interview on Monday I am super nervous and I have to do a presentation for it which hopefully I will get time to sort over the weekend.

Amy - glad you had a good day. Amy is constantly covered in bruises I am sure she is accident prone and always seems to be falling over invisible objects!

Maybe - The hotel looks lovely - I cant wait to go away on holiday ... I need to book something first though!

Well I am going for a scan today - I have had some bleeding and lots of cramping and its all starting like my last m/c did I am terrified it is going to happen again but Dave doesnt seem to bothered. Right I better go get Amy changed as she is running round with no clothes on. Hope you all have a good day. x x x

h&f - oh no! :hugs: hope the scan goes well. pregnancy is so stressful :hugs: keep us posted xxx

emera i googled hand foot and mouth disease:

https://www.google.com/search?q=han...ct=mode&cd=2&ved=0CBwQ_AUoAQ&biw=1152&bih=601

H&F - I really hope that your scan had positive results. I'm so sorry you are going through this stress :hugs: :hugs: :hugs:

Maybe - Hope you had a nice time out for coffee ;)

Thanks alot for the input all :) The doctor did mention hand foot and mouth also, but dismissed it too, as he has the rash all over his arms and legs, and not so much on his hands and feet  I've been reading up on both that and chicken pox, and to be honest it could be either at this point, i guess time will tell. The ones around his mouth have started blistering this evening, and he's had those near to 3 days now, so it would fit with either virus. Ah well, either way he's cheerful enough, and i'm just keeping his mouth area clean and dry so they don't get infected, not much else to do either way

Roh has thoroughly made up for freaking me out with his rash though, yesterday he walked about 2 metres down the hall, with one hand just brushing the wall. I thought it might be another fluke, as he's done it a couple of times over the last few months. Anyway, today he's been properly walking about 50% of the time. I think possibly, 10 months after he started first crawling, he might actually be moving on properly! :happydance: He looks so pleased with himself, bless him :)

Hey all,
H&F thinking of you x
Emera-sorry roh has the mystery illness but yay for him walking!!!!!!
Amy-Hope there have been no teeth accidents today!
Sarahwoo-hope the weddings go to plan this weekend - busy busy busy!!
L-C - hope you are getting some time to work on no2!
Muddles - hey :)
Maybe - you are one busy lady!!!!
Hi to everyone else - hope you all have good weekends.
Me - I am fed up of myself! Since i gave birth i seem incapable of making a decision and it is doing my head in! anyone else?????????
xx

I'm just taking a quick break from prepping for tomorrows weddongs, phew! Today went really well :)

Emera bless Roh, at least he's happy enough, and yay for walking! If he is anything like Oliver he will be walking all the time in a day or two. Oliver wants to walk all the time now, if we're out and we let him walk that's it, he wants to walk for the next half an hour!

HandF I hope you are okay!

Mork bless you, what are you trying to decide?

Right, break over, back to work for me :haha:

sarah - hope todays wedding went well and good luck for the two tomorrow :hugs: thats so funny that Oliver hides your hairbrushes :haha: all the hairbrushes in my house seem to disappear for no reason!

emera - there was an outbreak of chicken pox when I was on the childrens ward and I would say it isnt chicken pox - it does look like hand foot and mouth disease. That is so wet of his doctor, if she was unsure she should have referred him to a dermatologist. Does she know you are pregnant? what if it was something you needed to be cautious with? :growlmad: she sounds useless! But on the positive well done for walking Roh :happydance: also I agree with the others, he is totally scrumptious! :cloud9:

maybe - hope you had a nice coffee with your friend :hugs:

insomnimama - any luck with jobs? :hugs:

H&F - hoping no news is good news, thinking of you :hugs::hugs::hugs:

Mork - I've always been rubbish at making decisions :haha: is it anything we can help with??

we had a BBQ on the beach today for Holly with my parents. We had a lovely time but I ate like a total pig  its meant to rain all weekend here :(

Thanks Amy, i agree it looks like hand foot and mouth, except that he has no ulcers inside his mouth, and nothing on his palms or soles, just alot on his arms and legs  I'm annoyed about that with the doctor too, i did say i was pregnant, and i'm a touch worried as one of my eyes is swollen today, like a sty, i can't help but suspect its related. Like you said what if its something totally different that i should worry about? :growlmad:

Emera your Dr does sound a bit useless :dohh:

Amy a BBQ at the beach, ahhh that sounds lovely! How is Alex now?

Oh, Steve found my hair brush this morning BTW. He was looking for it for me and at the same time saying that I shouldn't blame Oliver everytime I can't find something, and then he found it - down the back of the radiator :haha:  Guess who put it there?

emera - at least he's now well in himself, I'm sure you're worried though. I'd go for a second opinion if it doesnt clear up and keep an eye on your eye :hugs:

sarah - brilliant! toddlers are hilarious arent they :cloud9: thankyou for asking, Alex is ok now. His front lip was a bit swollen today but better than yesterday. He is a nightmare though, he had a paddy today because I couldnt pick him up and threw himself backwards onto the kitchen floor tiles and clonked the back of his head :dohh:

I'm "doing" an assignment. Need to do 1000 words tonight....currently on 74

emera - how's roh?

h&f - how was the scan?

amy - the bbq sounds lovely :)

sarah - glad you found your brush :haha:

mork - i'm really indecisive too :haha:

i'm so fed up of so little sleep. last night 7 wakings and he wants bf each time. i have been giving in as he has a cold but really regretting it! didnt even get a 2hr block of sleep! :nope: i am like a zombie and at 7am he decided after the crappy sleep that he wasnt going to sleep any more :dohh: i was telling danny how i'd give anything for a lie in, even til 10am but he didnt take the hint :dohh: he has a lie in whenever he wants but never thinks of giving me one :growlmad: it wont be any different when i go to work either :nope: and he's still never got up once at night :grr:

today we are going to go across the border to spain for breakfast and a look at shoes for erin as her foot has had a growth spurt !!! then we'll probably go to the beach as the kids have a party there later from 7-9pm! a bit late really as we wont get back home til 9.30ish so really way past bedtime!!

Hey all -

Sorry am not updating properly but went to the scan an dthey saw a sac but no baby no heart beat - She also saw a large amount of bleeding and wasnt very positive. I have a repeat scan on wednesday but I am guessing its not great news just trying to stay positive for Amy and the fact we have the wedding in 6 weeks should be something to focus on!

H&F - :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

Roh seems ok, thanks for asking :hugs: His rash looks no worse, so i'm hoping that whatever the heck it is it will start clearing up soon. I think he'd be just fine if he hadn't decided to cut 2 more teeth overnight, because of that he's a bit on the grumbly side!

HandF I'm sorry to hear that :hugs:

Emera two teeth in one night! That's some going! How is your eye? I hope Roh's rash is improving :)

Amy I hope you got some more words :haha:

Maybe could you just say to Danny look, I NEED some sleep, you need to get up with the kids. He obviously doesn't take a hint :dohh:

Well todays weddings went well, and my mum and dad have now gone on holiday, so we'll see them in two weeks when we see them for our holiday! I am putting my feet up for an hour while Oliver plays with his toys, I didn't sleep great and after the weddings I feel the need to have a little rest :haha: Oliver is walking around talking into a pen as if its a phone :haha:

Oliver has a really runny nose atm. He doesn't seem like he has a cold, so I'm wondering if its teething? He's also got a little rash on his face, it looks like heat rash and I was wondering if it might be because when he snuggles in for a feed he sometimes gets quite warm? I might take him to the drs just in case.
