Moms of April/May/June 2010 babies thread! :)

Emera I'm glad your colour went well  I need to get mine cut before we go away next weekend! It sounds like you had a fun day with all the family if a little crazy :haha: How was Roh with the new baby?

Oliver and I are having a lovely day :) Its sunny here :happydance: so the two of us went up to the Car Boot sale again and got some more bargains  We didn't go until late so I didn't think we'd get anything, but thought it would be nice to wonder around and would get us out of the house while Steve sleeps, but we did really well! We bought: A Little Tykes mini bike for outside (the ones you sit on and shuffle along with your feet) for five pounds, a lovely like new Next raincoat for 1.50 (for Oliver), some mothercare reins for 50p, a thats not my book for 50p, an elmer book for 20p, two pairs of swimming shirts for Oliver for 50p each, and a gorgeous brand new linen playsuit for me for a quid! Everything is in lovely condition, so I was really pleased! Especially since I almost bought a rain coat in Mothercare yesterday for sixteen pounds!!

I think we're going to play outside for a bit now, I hope everyone is having a fun weekend!

sarah - you were lucky with your MIL! I get on OK with mine now but she is always on Kerrys side, no matter what! you should get your hair cut, I had 6 inches off and i feel so revitalised! Kerry cut my hair once, he bodged it so badly he couldnt help laughing - never again  woooohooooo for getting your covers back :happydance: and excellent bargain shopping

emera - ooo I really want to see your hair! I used to Henna mine. your nephew sounds so sweet! I bet they were so excited to hear about your pregnancy :cloud9:

maybe - danny needs a kick up the butt! I never iron for Kerry :haha: hope you have a fab time away :hugs:

H&F - :hugs: thinking of you xxx

well I had a lovely birthday, it was really nice to get my hair all chopped off - it made me feel younger :haha: then my mum and dad treated me to lunch out. very nice! It was also Emily's last day at primary school on Friday  my oldest baby is all grown up! sadly she's turned into a teenager over the weekend - sits texting the whole time, wont do anything I ask her and is generally rude and obnoxious! I hope it gets better :dohh:

Amy your post just reminded me that I was going to do the ironing tonight  Whoops!

Amy - As far as i recall from actually being a teenager, it should get better in about 10 years time :winkwink:

Boo, i feel sick and ill :( Roh is all snuffley, and i thought it was his teeth as he has another top molar coming through which i guessed could be irritating his sinus... i'm wondering if he has a bit of a cold though as i'm feeling a bit rough. Would be typical for us to get ill right when my friend is arriving :dohh: Ah well, i guess i'll just keep up with the vitamins and hope it passes.

I think i'm feeling a bit run down, i'm just doing normal stuff, then i keep feeling like i'm really over doing it? I know i'm going to have to start taking it a bit easier, but seriously, things still need to get done! Bleh, maybe if i just give myself a little break then i'll get some energy back.

I was going through some old photos earlier, as i have a set of frames that have been in the hall empty for 5 years  I thought it really is time to fill them! I ended up getting quite upset though. We've never done anything with our wedding photos, never put them in an album or anything, they are just in a box. My brother in law died a month after we got married, so it was always too difficult to look at them. When i looked at them today i realised quite how many of the people i love have passed away in the last 8 years. Looking at the pictures of my side of the family, 50% of the people in the picture are now gone  Its very difficult to accept. Anyway, i think its good that those pictures are now up in the hall, and i can look at them everyday :)

emera :hugs: I hope you're OK xx 10 years  HELLLPPPPPPP!

:hugs: :hugs: Emera - it sounds like you've had a tough few years :hugs: :hugs:

I got my ironing done last night, well most of it :haha: now we just need to try not to wear the stuff we want to take on hols so I don't have to wash everything again :haha:

i need to :iron: but maybe tomorrow..........

well the weekend had it's ups and downs but danny seems much more chilled now. hope it lasts! :haha: he's on nights from tomorrow to saturday so i am thinking ben and jerrys and chick flicks

emera - glad the hair colour went well and that you got your photos up.

sarah - great bargains

modo - how's bobby doing walking?

mork - how are you sleeping these days? it's still rubbish here :(

h&f - sounds like dave and danny are quite similar in their temperaments. moody men :growlmad:

amy - hope emily goes through the stroppyness phase quickly! i think erin is going to be a nightmare when she hits the teens, she's a little madam now :haha:

am tired, will post properly tomorrow and put some pics up on fb then too :hugs: to all! xxx

I'm glad you had a good weekend Maybe!

:hugs: to you Mork, hope your nights get better soon - and you Maybe! :hugs:

We had a quiet day here, I'm trying to get everything sorted for our holiday but there is so much to do! So I spent the day trying to do stuff and with Oliver trying to stop me :haha: I have got quite a bit done since he went to bed though  and I think I'll clean the bathroom before I go to bed, so that will be another thing to tick off my list

Gosh we're having molar nightmares at the moment! Oliver slept great for the first part of the night but I've got so much on my mind and didn't get to sleep until gone 1am. Oliver then woke up at half five and pretty much cried on and off from then on, he was kind of half asleep but kept screaming and I'm sure its his molars :( We got up at eight and he's been soooooo tearful all morning! I think its time to get the calpol out! (And the coffee :coffee:)

On a brighter note Oliver can now climb onto our sofa, its fairly high so I'm quite suprised! He's always sooooo proud of himself when he climbs up :haha: but I'm guessing its going to mean some more banged heads until he figures out getting down :dohh:

Right, time for breakfast, and then I think we'll pop out. I need to go to GAP and see if I can swap one of Olivers tops for a bigger size, its still got its tags but I don't have a receipt so I'm not sure if they will let me exchange it.

Well Oliver has finally fallen asleep in the car on the way home, so I'm now sat outside the house in the car :haha: I really hope he wakes up in a better mood :dohh:

I went to GAP and though they said they would exchange or refund the little hoody, they didn't have any others and it had gone right down in the sale, so I've kept it instead. Its a 12-18 and will fit, I would have just liked a 18-24 so it would have fitted for longer. Never mind though!

I could fall asleep myself sat here :haha: :coffee:

sarah :hugs: teething is crappy owen seems to teethe on and off and then never get any teeth! re the sofa, if you show him how to get down he should get the picture soon enough.

mork - hope t starts sleeping better.

modo - glad bobby is doing well walking

am not in a very good place at the mo. things are pretty crappy with danny at the moment. he's working nights the next 4 nights and i'm pretty happy about it. am fed up with the continuous tension and it's making me really snappy and not at all like me

Thanks hon, you too re the sleeping. Hugs to you as well, hope d working nights gives you some breathing space xxxx

maybe - :hugs::hugs: hope you're ok :hugs: hope the space from Danny when he's on nights helps x

sarah - boo about the hoodie - at least you can get some wear out of it though! Hope Oliver doesn't have any sofa tumbles :hugs: good luck with holiday prep - oh and I hope you get more sleep tonight

mork - sorry your nights are still bad too :hugs:

modo - well done Bobby

I think Alex has broken his nose  he fell flat on his face yesterday - he didnt get to put his hands down first and so his nose smacked into the floor. It was blue and massive yesterday. Today it was still swollen and wonky so I went to the GP and he said to wait until the swelling has gone and then go back to see if he needs referring to a specialist. I hate that it doesnt look right :( poor little man, he was beside himself and goes mad if I go anywhere near it now

Oh poor little Alex! Gosh he gets in the wars doesn't he, bless him! My nephew is like that, well he was when he was a toddler - he was constantly falling over and things. I hope its just bruised and that it starts looking better soon :hugs: :hugs: :hugs:

Maybe :hugs: I'm sorry that things are crappy, I hope you have a good night and a good few days :hugs:

Well I have no idea if I'm on track for getting everything ready for our holiday :dohh: I'm off to write lists when I'm done on here :haha: The difficult thing is that Steve is working until 8am in the morning, so then he'll sleep until about 5pm, and he's back working at 8pm until about 4am, then back on at 1pm on Friday - which basically means that I have all the packing, housework, and general errands etc to sort out on my own while looking after Oliver  Should be fun :haha: I think I've got some busy evenings ahead :haha: I am 99% ready for this weekends weddings which is a bonus, just everything else to sort out now!!!
