Moms of April/May/June 2010 babies thread! :)

LC - sorry your night was rubbish :hugs: mine was bad too. have you tried using virasoothe? i used that on erin and owen when they had chickenpix a few months ago.

amy - i remember having sleepovers with midnight feasts :munch:. great childhood memories :)

i'm so tired! longing for bedtime already. danny's having his usual nap after work :grr: i am so angry having to do everything round here! he hasnt even taken out the rubbish :growlmad:

Thanks maybe do you know if you can get it here? He's so itchy poor thing, he really struggled today, I think we're in for another rough night xx

LC - Hope you have a better night :hugs:

emera - I meant to say I agree with your post, I was even angrier today hearing on the radio their "reasons" for theirr disgusting behaviour :growlmad: pathetic. Hope you are feeling ok otherwise :hugs:

modo - are you OK? you're in London arent you :hugs::hugs:

maybe - :haha: I remember midnight feasts too :happydance: hope you get some sleep tonight. How is Danny doing (other than being lazy)? hope you guys are ok x

urgh, we had a terrible night here too. Alex has a molar coming through and was just angry all night

amy - owen has a molar coming through but was a bit better last night. he thought it was acceptable to get up for the day ar 5.45am so i ignored him and after a strop he went back to sleep for about 20mins and then we got up at 6.45

LC - yeah virasoothe is a UK product. i got it from morissons. there's a good talc called talquistina but i got it from a pharmacy that stocks spanish products so that you can't get over in UK i imagine.

hope you are all safe from the riots that seem to be happening all over

Another horrible night and raging temperature - urghhhh this is horrible, he's really struggling with it. Thanks maybe off to the chemist now!! Were yours really poorly with it? is a high temp normal?

Hi everyone! Just to let you know that I'm back in civilisation :haha: and will be on later to catch up :hugs: x

LC -'the 1st few days were the worst! you can alternate panadol&nurofen for the temperature.

sarah - hi

Hey all - sorry for being mia - we went away at the weekend and just havent stopped with wedding stuff I have literally only just got on the computer. Also with all the riots going on we are confined to our house hoping Dave can pick some shopping up later and hopefully I will catch up with everyone properly in a little bit. x x x

Hi everyone! We are fine :hugs: The Riots are horrible :growlmad: I used to hang out at Clapham Junction a few years ago and know the area quite well. It was a great place with a fun nightlife with great cocktail bars and pubs. It's eerie seeing it on the news like that :nope: It's awful :( The excuses offered are pathetic :growlmad:

Other than that we went to In the Night Garden Live this morning. I was so so nervous about going but it went great :happydance: Bobby was so well behaved!!! We paid for the premium tickets and it was well worth it as we ended it up in the front row. Bobby was able to have a little wonder when he wanted (didn't go far) but mostly watched the show. It was quite cute :D

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

LC: Thank you for asking hon. I am in Richmond and nothing is going on here. Will sounds totally adorable :cloud9: Sorry to hear about the chicken pox :(

Emera: Agree with you 100%. Totally disgusting behaviour!!!

Mork: Sorry you have been poorly :(

Maybe: Poor you and Owen :( Hope you are both feeling much better soon :hugs: GRRR at Danny's unhelpful behaviour :growlmad:

Amy: Bobby got the first part of his third first molar yesterday. So we had a honeymoon day today where he was totally delightful :D Hope Holly sleeps for longer than 5am

Sarah:  Hope you had fun on holiday!

H&F: Hope you are ok!

modo - the in the night garden show sounds great! owen would love that! we dont have things like that here!!!

maybe - Alex thought 6am was a good time to wake up today so we had an early start too

LC - poor Will. Alex hasn't had it but my 10 month old nephew did recently and he was just like Will, he was ok in the day but had a raging temperature at night. One night he screamed so much they nearly went to A&E and they are both Doctors! They found ice-cream really soothed him as he had them inside his mouth and couldnt eat or drink. Hope Will gets better soon, I think they only had 2-3 terrible nights :hugs::hugs:

H&F - not long now until the big day :happydance::happydance:

modo - glad you are ok. In the Night Garden live sounds fantastic, Alex would love that :cloud9:

sarah - welcome back :happydance: looking forward to hearing about your hols :hugs:

Alex had the longest nap he's ever taken today - 2 1/2 hrs!!! I made dinner, cleaned the house, got two loads of washing done, did Kent test practice with Holly, made cookies with Emily and made sandwiches for lunch! I felt very productive! I got to the stage where I really missed him being about :haha:

ooh a 2 1/2 hr nap! bliss!!! owen hasnt napped more than 30-40mins lately!

Wow Amy that's an amazing nap!

Maybe: Sorry you don't get shows like that in Gibraltar :(

and today we're on an hours nap so far  he is definately adjusting his routine to one nap midday :happydance: bet you now I've said that it will be 30 mins again tomorrow :dohh::haha:

summer has left Kent again, we've got wind and rain here :( boooooo

Hi

The show sounds great!! Will would have been all over the shop lol.

Well we have had a rough day today, teething and the pox not a great combination. Then to top it all off my supervisor at work has been very unsupportive - oh and the witch got me too. Might cry...... more about the work issue, feel like I have been working really hard to make up for the fact I'm not doing full hours but I get nothing from the bloke in fact less than nothing.

So I am drowning my sorrows with a pint of cider.

Will slept slightly better last night and I'm hoping we'll be more or less back to normal in a couple more nights. The poor thing has really struggled. I got some poxclin which seems to have helped. Thank you so much maybe for pointing me in the right direction xxx also WOW to the talc/sand thing........tried it a few weeks ago and been meaning to say it's amazing!!

H&F Wahoo not long at all now, I'm really excited for you. Hope it's calmed down near you hun.

Amy - wahoo for the power naps and getting lots done! I did dinners for Will today during his for tonight and tomorrow. Went to get him and the pigging dog ate it!

Sarah - hope you had a lovely time.

The poo protest although was a slight nightmare when I first walked in was quite amusing. Will was sooooo impressed with himself. As I walked in he handed me the nappy and said "here you are" or his version of it. He looked like he had fallen face first into a chocolate cake there was huge clumps of poo all over the sheet and attached to the bars - I didn't know where to start. luckily I was on to the phone to DH at the time to he got my reaction! lol

Poor thing, I think the poo aggravates his spots and so he wants to get it off for that reason. Well I hope it's not going to become a habit.

Hope you've all had a great day xxxxx

amy - how was the nap in the end?

LC - glad will is a bit better! glad the talc/sand tip came in handy! my MIL told me about it!

h&f - how are the final preparations going?

well owen woke 20mins after going to sleep despite only a morning nap of under an hour! his molars still not out so think it was that so gave him nurofen. fingers crossed. i think am really run down. i'm so tired and i have 3 mouth ulcers :( maybe i should get a vitamin supplement!

I am goingt to try and catch properly later but its crazy here as Dave has his stag do this weekend so we are trying to get ready for that.

but i just had to post because Dave has been annoying all day about going away and now he cant find his car keys ...last seen with Amy - i know its cruel but i cant stop laughing its his own fault for leaving them in her reach.

Hey ladies,
LOL H&F!!! Hope he finds his keys soon!!!! Cant believe how close your big day is now!!!
L-C-bless you, your life sounds like mine - work issues, witch and teething - oh and poo - we had poo on the carpet yesterday! Hope the teething and pox ease up soon and hope we both get bfp's at the end of the month! I am religiously taking my folic acid and am gonna make sure we bd every third day this month!!!
Maybe-sounds like you are run down hon (have to say i'm not suprised looking after 3 young kids without any help!). Hope some vits help but i think an afternoon to yourself without going near Morrisons may help more!
Sarahwoo- did you have a good holiday? It was very quiet in here without you!!
Amy-what is going on with this weather-surely summer cant be over for kent! (I still have tan lines and white bits to get rid of!)
Modo-Hi
Everyone else - hope you are all ok.
xxx

LC - :hugs: for poorly Will, :hugs: for the witch and :hugs: for your nasty supervisor :growlmad::hugs:  the "poo" incident did make me laugh  when Emily and Holly were toddlers I made the mistake of leaving a potty in the room they shared and came up one night to find it smeared all over their beds, all over them and rubbed hard into the carpet  its amazing how far you can spread a good poo! :haha:

maybe - just an hr and a halfs nap today. You do sound run down :hugs: you need Danny to look after you for once! :flower:

H&F - :haha: let us know where Dave finds the keys :haha:

Mork - :haha::haha: I still have white bits too! At the moment the forecast is drab drab drab :( good luck with bd this month

Holly has another friend over tonight  I'm cramming them in before I start working poxy shifts. Today I bought SOME of Emily's secondary school uniform - £160   I actually gulped when I had to pay! The shop assistant laughed!!!! everything is regulation! And they have to have their name embroidered on the front of all their PE kit and lab coat!
