Moms of April/May/June 2010 babies thread! :)

awful evening. cant even talk about it. so depressed.

owen just woke. have been asleep myself for under 2hrs  cant take much more.

emera - i love the red arrows! how's your stomach doing?

sarah - yey for sleeping through! :D i use johnsons or mothercare products

:hugs: for you Maybe :hugs:

Emera I heard that about Johnsons too but when Oliver was smaller he was fine. He's def better with the milder ones now though. Also, I get excema on my hands and the johnsons products were making my skin terrible. Like you say you would rhink they would just change the formula!! The more natural products are no less good

Good luck with your dating scan and with Roh's vaccinations :hugs:

The Red Arrows sounds amazing!

I hope everyone is having a nice day!

We had a relaxing morning, then had a family trip to the hair dresser :haha: Oliver was sooooo well behaved and looks so cute :)

We had a little picnic for lunch and now we're off to see the trains at the railway museum in York :)

sarah - did oliver get his hair cut too?

we went to puerto banus and had lunch at the hard rock cafe and then treated erin to a new barbie doll and dylan to a bakugan. poor owen got nothing as he's still young enough not to ask for anything :haha:

i'm just so tired and exhausted and feel that if it were not for the kids we wouldnt be together  i do love him but i'm so scared that when the kids are grown up he'll decide to go :sad2:

Maybe :hugs: I hope you are feeling better hon :hugs:

Emera: I saw your scan pic on FB. I am guessing girl :cloud9: Gorgeous pic!

Sarah: How are you doing hon? We use this you don't need to use much and it lasts us ages.

HF:hope you are ok hon :hugs:

Maybe just :hugs: :hugs: :hugs:

Sarah - Hope the trains were good! Sounds fun :)

Well, unbelieveable, the surgery phoned and cancelled Roh's injections as the nurse was off sick :dohh: Not sure if we are ever going to get these done!

The scan went well, everything seems ok. I turned down the NT test though, so it really was just measuring and dating. There is a baby i'm not mad, and only one, thank goodness! Here's the little blobby thing, we are calling it Nemo for now :)

Also, i feel sort of bad posting too much about my pregnancy here, seeing as people are at all different stages of ttc, and H&F with your sad recent loss, i'm worried its not appropriate, if its an issue for anyone, then let me know please!! :flower:

Aw emera so cute!! Even though I am desperately jealous I am so happy for you and love to hear how you are getting on!
Maybe-so sorry you are feeling so low, wish I could come to gib and give you a hug.
Sarah-sounds like you had a fun day :)
H&f-how you doing today hon?
Midi-hi!
Amy-half way there?
I have no idea what is going on with my lo's sleep at the mo-grrr!!! She has worked out how to scream too-at all hours just for (only her) amusement!!!! X

I was thinking of going away just Bobby and I for a short break in something like Haven Holidays. But I am pretty nervous about sleeping arrangements. Will Bobby get used to sleeping in the same roomas me? We usually put him into bed and leave (he self settles quite well most nights) but what would I do in that situation? It just makes me nervous and think that it's not worth it :(

Emera: I guessed right with Bobby's gender as we saw his winky during the 12 week scan. I don't see one on yours so my bet is a little girl for that reason!

Modo - Thanks :) I was comparing this scan to the one with Roh, and to be honest they look very similar, although this one is at 10w6d and Rohs was at 11w5d i think, so he was a bit bigger. I have no idea what i'm looking for as far as working out gender goes, so i'll take your word for it

Mork - Thanks hun! :hugs: Its why i asked really i know what its like to watch everyone else get pregnant. After trying for 6 years to conceive Roh, for my brother and SIL to try for one month and get a bfp right away was very difficult to handle emotionally. On one hand, yay, a niece, on the other hand, i had to smile and be happy, then go home and cry myself to sleep, because i was despairing of ever getting there! Did you have to ttc for long with T? :hugs: and :dust: to you!

Also Modo, Roh had to share with OH and me when we went on holiday, it was fine really, we just put him to bed as usual, and then snuck in when we wanted to go to sleep, i had a very dim light that i put far away from the cot, so we didn't crash in to everything. It was totally fine really. He didn't wake up when we came to bed. The mornings were alot earlier than they are at home though, as at home he wakes up at 5-6 ish i think and then plays for 10 mins to an hour, and then goes back to sleep. Because he could see us, and his noise was waking us up, he got all excited and wanted to get up :dohh: 2 of the mornings we just all snuggled up in the big bed and dozed though, which was actually really nice :)

Emera: i guess I would worry about leaving him alone in a hotel room while he goes to sleep but I guess I could look into flat or something? In regards to the scan I was basing it on what I remembered from nub theory. I m probably totally wrong

Modo - You could either book a suite or like you said an apartment or something. The other alternative, is find a hotel that has a remote listening service. I'm off on holiday in september, and they have them there, basically high power monitors, so you can go off to the lounge and hotel restaurant etc. and still hear whats going on in the room

Fantastic! Will look into all those options  can I ask where you are going?

We are going to the Scilly Isles, FIL wants a holiday, but had no one to go with so has decided to pay for us to go with him?!?! Oh, go on then, if i must! I'm looking forwards to it :) In May we went to the lake district and rented a cottage, that was really practical, as it meant Roh could sleep and we didn't have to worry, we just cooked dinner and relaxed in the living room until bedtime

Emera: Wow sounds great! Never Been to scilly but I bet it's beautiful :flower: I really want to go on holiday but DH is totally against it as our previous holidays in Malta (when he was 4 months) and Dubai (6 months) were so hard.

Hey all -

I am so sorry for not posting much recently it is completly crazy here with wedding planning and generally running round like a maniac! I think all the final wedding plans are coming together nicely apart from my uncle is stuck in Africa in hospital apparently he isnt very well.

I just wanted to say - Emera your picture made me cry so much but in a good way! I love to hear you talking about your pregnancy and although my loss has been painful I love sharing in your pregnancy with you and your little one is beautiful. What a perfect picture! I hope your feeling much better now!

Right I will try and catch up properly but I am trying to book hotels for after the wedding for honeymoon! A bit late notice I know!

h&f - i am glad things are coming together nicely! hope dave appologised for the stag!

emera - how are you feeling these days? love the scan pic!

modo - holidays with kids can be stressful i know but as bobby is older it should be easier! i'd not worry too much about the sleeping arrangements just go and have fun!!! :)

HandF did you sort everything out with Dave?

Emera I love to hear about your pregnancy - don't go making me broody though! :haha:

Maybe how are things now? I hope you're okay :hugs:

Modo I think if we stayed in a hotel we would need a suite. Our holiday worked quite well but in an evening when Oliver was I bed we were obviously restricted with what we could do. We had a great time and it was lovely to get a break. Having said that, since we got home we've had day trips and visits etc and have had a really fun time, and its been sooooo much easier - could you do something like that?

Steve is back to work today  We've had such a lovely time, we're going to miss him

I bought Oliver another Christmas pressie yesterday :dohh: Its a Little Tikes Fire Truck, to go with his Police Car :haha: It was only twenty ffve pounds in Asda! They had the normal cars for the same price too! Bargain!

Hey all -

Dave has apologised in a big way ... we had a huge argument on Sunday and then on Monday he bought flowers and has booked me a massage and generally been really good! I think he understands why I was so upset and said he wouldnt do it again hmmm I guess we will wait and see I am just looking forward to all the wedding stress to be over and to have a holiday and re connect a bit!

Hope everyone is ok. x x x
