Moms of April/May/June 2010 babies thread! :)

Maybe I didn't get to Primark yet but I'm sooooo tempted :haha:

I am shattered too! Oliver was just going to sleep when he heard Steve get home and then he wouldn't go to sleep until he's had some cuddles and played with Steve :dohh:
I've been working on the place cards again . . . . I am going to see diamantes and ribbon in my sleep :haha:

Right, I'm off to bed, night all! xx

dylan's behaviour has been awful :(today i was so embarrassed at my friend's son's bday party. he called a girl you f*****g girl and kicked her. i dont know what to do  have tried time out. today he also kicked danny in the balls and danny gave him such a smack i thought maybe that'd curb his behaviour. feel like a shit mum. at school he's an angel so well behaved and hardworking. why cant he be like that outside :nope:

emera - I love that they wear his and his babygrows and jump on you

sarah - you should get that for Steve!!! hope you have a good night :hugs:

maybe - I've been dizzy with tiredness this week too thanks to school so I can empathise :hugs: going to be worse next week when I have to leave at 6.30 am! Dont worry about Dylan, you arent a bad mum - you're fantastic!! My girls get a bit like that when they go back to school - the whole back to school routine takes it out of them too so they play up.

I had to drive to "work" today, I called the uniform office yesterday and she said I couldnt just order size 10 I needed to come in and be measured. I felt I had no choice as I start next week so I made the 100 mile round trip only to be given bog standard size 10!! She just said try them on, they fitted so that was that BEEEAAAATTCHH. She was a right stropey old moo. baaaah. Oh well. all sorted now.Alex was very good, we sang songs all the way there then he slept on the way back.

Argh Amy that would have made me sooooo pissed!!!!!!!! I hope you really enjoy work when you start :hugs:

Maybe I'm sorry Dillan is been so difficult :hugs: I hope things get better soon - you're not a bad mum though!

Not much going on here, Oliver and I went shopping yesterday while Steve was at work, we bought some Gaggia stuff for Steve for his birthday, to go with his beloved coffee machine :haha: Twenty two quid for a metal tamper thing  but he was looking at them last time we were in the shop so I think he'll like it  I bought myself a cute little knitted dress from Monsoon too

So I think I'm sorted for Steve's birthday, unless I can get to Primark :haha: I've booked a table at Brassarie Blanc in Leeds for Sunday Lunch so that should be nice, I think we're quite brave taking Oliver though  Then we'll go to Krispy Kreme for doughnuts - Steve's favourite :) I need to get a cake tomorrow, on the way back from my wedding.

Right, I'd better get on! Hope everyone has a fun day!

x

OMG, Steve's crazy conspiracy theory mad friend is here AGAIN (he's basically here all the flippin time at the moment) and he's doing my head in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

sarah - i hope mr conspiracy theory has left. i think you should see if you can order the babygros online in case you dont make it to primark  hope the wedding tomorrow goes well! :)

amy - :grr: at the uniform. i'm hoping your start of term bad behaviour theory is right and dylan stops behaving like he did yesterday!

today dylan got his punishment as we bumped into FIL and dylan and erin wanted to go up to the house with him. i told him he could take erin but not dylan as he was punished. he cried and stropped but he has to realise that actions have consequences. FIL was asking me to let him off but if i had then he'd think he could always do the same!!! i seem to be dealing with bad behaviour from all angles. a boy at school was trying to see what he could get away with me with as i am new and i gave him a sanction. he cried too :dohh: poor kid was in a right state but he was rude to another child, carried on making fun of his painting, so i moved him, then he refused to do his painting as i had moved him and refused to help to tidy up so i had no choice but to sanction him as i had given him plenty of warnings. sanctions are a bit deal in this school as it means they dont get good behaviour stamps and if they dont get enough stamps by the end of the year they do not get to go on the trip to the water park in spain.

well tomorrow is gib national day so we're in party mode then. everyone dresses up in red and white (national colours) and there is a rally and they release 30,000 red and white balloons (the population is about 30,000) and then there is a little funfair and other activities around town. i'm going to go with my parents as danny is working nights tonight and tomorrow so wont feel like it. it's not really his thing anyway. my mum booked a table for lunch so we'll eat after they do the balloons and then head to the fair with the kids. best thing is as national day falls on a weekend we get monday off!!!!:yipee:

anyway i have droned on with this post  well done if you read it all!

sarah - yey to being sorted for Steve's birthday - sounds great. grr for the wierd friend. I'm lucky that Kerry's such an antisocial bugger he doesnt really see his friends out of work :haha: that would infruriate me! :hugs:

maybe - well done for sticking to your guns with Dylan, your FIL shouldnt have questioned you! hope you have a great day tomorrow :happydance:

as for me, kerry is driving me mad at the moment :growlmad: its like he thinks he should be able to do as he pleases and anything he does towards the children is like him helping me. He see's himself as put out. ARRRGH, he is going to make life so difficult when I work shifts :( and he just sits there night after night on the settee, one hand in his pants and one on the remote, which he never lets me have and I dont want to watch anymore Dave, or how its made, or have the channels flicked from one to another when its adverts. if I say anything I get shouted at for moaning :growlmad: we're all tired and grumpy this week from the early starts with back to school but he's definately due a week in the shed for being a grumpy old sod :growlmad: rant over :haha:

Amy Grrrrrrr to Kerry! I quite like Steve working nights as I get the remote all to myself :haha: (and the bed - even better ) Stick him in the shed hun, the forcast is crappy for the weekend so hopefully the wind will blow the roof off :haha: Oh, and buy yourself a euromillions ticket

Maybe it sounds like you have a lovely weekend planned! I think you did the right thing with Dillon, you have to follow through with your threats

Well Steve's friend left at about 6pm, and Steve left for work at 7pm. I started writing a rant but it was going to be sooooooo long :haha: I will no doubt be ranting about him on and off though - Steve gave him a job so he's moved up from Kent indefinetly :grr: :hissy: I like Steve having a friend, and if he wasn't so god damn annoying I wouldn't mind so much :haha: But OH MY GOD he pisses me off

Well Steve has been working on the garden (with his friend sat watching and smoking so I couldn't even take Oliver outside to watch :dohh:). However the garden is looking FAB and hopefully it will be finished soon!!!!

Right, well I have everything ready for tomorrows wedding, so hopefully that will go well. I hope you all have a lovely weekend! xx

amy :grr: kerry! off to the shed and leave the remote on the way out! :haha:

sarah - glad the garden is fab! piccies please :D

owen has woken 2 times and when i was settling him the second time dylan woke up, stumbled to the living room and i found him on the sofa with his legs on my macbook :dohh: which i had left on the sofa thinking it was fine there whilst i went to sort out owen as noone else was up :dohh: it is ok though  phew!

so we all dressed up in our red and white and hit the streets. they released the 30,000 red and white balloons at 1pm and then we went for lunch. the restaurant we went to had entertainment laid on for the kids, they did dancing, colouring, play doh, limbo, sack races! they had lots of fun!!! then we went to casemates square where there was a train ride, soft play area and trampolines for the kids. they had a whale of a time and it was great for us to see them enjoying themselves :) they are tucked up fast asleep whilst i watch xfactor on my own as dan is on nights again!!! am uploading some pics of the day on to fb if you are interested!

Great pics maybe! :) looks so much fun, i visited gib once and loved it - wish i had come on national day! xx

Maybe that looks like lots of fun!!

We've had a busy day! The wedding went really well and looked gorgeous :) Then we want out for lunch and a spot of shopping on the way home. Oliver shared my jacket potato for lunch and then threw up everywhere  :dohh: He was sick last time he had a jacket spud too so I just think he doesn't like them! He eats them but then just can't keep it down  So that was fun :haha:

I was going to do some ironing tonight as I have a frightening amount to do, but instead I've been doing my business admin as I really needed to spend some time on it. I think I need to have a good two nights a week just doing my website and admin and stuff, but I feel guilty because I have house work that I could do with doing. I know thats silly though because if I was going out to work I would leave housework undone  I have got a fair bit done though - I really need to update my accounts though, they are soooo out of date, and I have a million ideas for things I want to do to my website etc, its just getting the time to do them!!!!

Right well I'd better crack on and get another hours work in!

Love to you all :hugs:

Here are a few pics from todays wedding . . . I can't put them on Facebook or my website yet (I only put them on when I've collected them so that no one can see what I've been doing and go and pretend to be us and steal stuff :dohh:)

It looked so lovely and I forgot my camera so they are crappy phone pics :dohh:

Hi ladies!

Sarah the pics from the wedding look lovely :)

Sorry about all the men being annoying again! They seem to get in sync! :hugs:

Well, I'm at FILs in Cornwall, we are flying to the Scilly Isles tomorrow, by helicopter!!

I'm really looking forwards to the holiday, its been a stress working loads and all the packing, but Roh has been an angel, even with the cold he's had.

Ok, I can't cope with anymore typing on my phone, have a good week all of you!

:hugs: xxx

emera - have a wonderful holiday!!! look forward to seeing the pics when you get back :)

have been a big piggy today. mil kept the kids so dan and i could go for lunch together. we went into spain and had tapas :munch: then tonight we had an indian take away and i also shovelled away half a tub of haagen dazs  so much for the diet!

am so glad tomorrow is a bank holiday as though owen will have me up by 6/6.30 at least we can laze around instead of rushing off to school  dan has to work 2-10 but at least as it is bank holiday he gets paid overtime!

Emera I hope you're having an amazing holiday! You deserve it :hugs:

Maybe I hope work went well! How are you finding juggling everything?

I hope everyone else is well!

Its soooo cold and windy here today! Brrrrrr! Steve is working on the garden again so Oliver and I have been playing out until be get too cold, then coming back in for a warm, then going back out :haha: Its looking good though, we're almost ready for turf!!!!!!!!!!

sarah - glad the garden is going well

work is good! i'm really enjoying teaching music to the older kids! it's a nightmare juggling everything though! got up at 6.30 to prepare packed lunches and other bits and didnt have time to even eat breakfast before work!!! then had to stay on late marking books! got home, had a quick cuppa and then took dylan to beavers. now it's the whole food-bath-bed routine. my mum has gone to pick up dylan from beavers. my pre prepared meals which i froze are getting depleted quickly and thw housework well i do what i can. am posting from my phone whilst feeding owen :haha:

hope you are all ok :hugs:
