Moms of April/May/June 2010 babies thread! :)

hey all!

mork - i'm sure you're not fat! it's normal to show faster the second time round!

emera - i can't believe you're 34 weeks already! where has the time gone?

amy - glad to see you back here :hugs:

sarah - i love your pic on fb of oliver and his ducks!

LC - how are you doing? hope Will is back to normal now!

h&f - how's the pregnancy going? have you had another scan?

modo - how is bobby doing re sleep these days?

well Owen had a slightly better night last night but is still really snotty! :( i have woken up this morning with a really dodgy tummy. really annoyed as it's the weekend but then again would have to have called in sick if it was a work day as have run to the loo 3 times in the last 10 mins  erin had a dodgy tum yesterday but not as bad as this. i called Dan at work to see if he was OK as i cooked a roast chicken last night and was beginning to wonder if i'd given myself food poisoning. he's ok though so it can't be that can it?

Hello all - well if its not one thing its another!

We are all now full of cold! Amy has been up coughing and hacking all night bless her but she seems to get better as soon as she is running around!

Emera - well done with not putting too much weight on. I was so over weight when I was pregnant with Amy I started at 15 1/2 stone and must have gone up to over 18 stone to be honest I didnt weigh myself at that point! Then I started weight watchers at 17stone 3lbs and got down to 12 stone 6lbs ... really hoping I dont put to much weight on this time but my weight just seems to yo yo so I will probably end up putting loads on!

Sarah - the picture of Oliver and his ducks on facebook is gorgeous - he is turning into a proper little boy now isnt he! I love seeing everyones pictures I have to say everyones little ones are gorgeous - May babies were definately a good bunch!

L-C - Hope your ok and Will is getting back to his normal self now!

Maybe - Pregnancy is going well so far - obviously not enjoyed the sickness, tiredness etc but we had a scan last Sunday and measured at 11 + 3 and everything looked good! so we are passed my normal m/c point which I am very happy about and looking forward to my official dating scan on Tuesday so I can finally announce it on facebook! - As for food poisioning I have to say I have had it from something me and Dave have eaten before I think he just never gets ill though! Hope you are feeling better soon.

Amy - glad to hear from you sending you lots of hugs!

Hello to everyone else - sorry for cutting measure short Amy has just presented me with her swimming costume ... I think its a hint!

Hope everyone is ok x x x

Maybe if Erin was dodgy yesterday and you are dodgy today its almost definitely a tummy bug not anything to do with food it will affect you worse if you are tired and a bit run down :hugs: I'd dettol wipe everything people touch often (door handles, front of fridge etc) to stop I going round everyone xxx

H+F thats such good weight loss! I've found it easier this time as I can't rest as much and I have less time to munch on treats with Roh to chase after x
Roh is the same with colds, coughing non-stop the moment he lies down but fine when he's running about!

Emera - good idea about the dettol!

H&f - glad all is ok with baby!

Was so sick yesterday. When Danny came back from work he had to take over. I think he may have finally realised what it is to look after all 3! :haha: and he didn't even bath them! He just about made them nuggets. Erin put herself to bed and Dan brought me Owen and I bf him. Don't know what time Dylan went to bed! Place is a tip though! Squashed biscuits everywhere :dohh: men! I need to clear up but feel dizzy when I get up :( managed to keep down a weetabix! First food since Friday night! Most annoying thing is that the weekend is wasted :( back to work tomorrow :(

Maybe I hope you're feeling better soon!! On the plus side there's nothing like a sickness bug for weight loss :haha: Its rubbish that you were ill over the weekend though - boo!!

Just a quiet day here today, I had weddings Friday and Saturday and I just have to go and fetch yesterdays covers back today. I have some house work to do and the normal jobs, but over all not much going on. Just ordered my shopping to be delivered tomorrow so I can avoid the supermarket :haha:

Oliver managed to headbutt me in the face last night - i thought it hurt more than normal but I was half asleep - I woke up this morning with blood all over my face and my lip is all swollen and cut and bruised :dohh: It looks awful :dohh: Doesnt hurt now though - but I got an awful shock when I looked in the mirror :haha:

Sarah ouch boys are such bullies eh? :haha: I got a grilling from the MW as I had 2 massive bruises on my arm when she went to take blood, they were stupidly huge  she started the whole "how are things at home" thing, and I was like "its fine, but my toddler likes to beat me up with his board books" she laughed after that

Emera  they are rough little things aren't they? How I haven't broken my nose yet I really don't know :dohh: The cuddles and kisses make up for it though. I wonder if girls are a bit more careful where they throw there heads / board books / trains / etc? :haha:

I am a bit stuck with what to do with my lip  It really looks like someone has hit me. I usually just wear a lip gloss but I think I'm going to need to find something darker to cover it up!

sarah - owen clobbered me with a wooden train tunnel on the lip yesterday. my lip was sooooo swollen but no blood. poor you!

an aquaintance (sp) of mine on fb has just lost her 5 month old to SIDS. she posted at 6.30am that at last he'd slept through. but he hadn't he was dead and she didnt even know it. i dont really know her well, just met her to give her some breastflow bottles i had and we chatted a bit. so sad.

Oops! Hmm maybe cover up is called for then! I sort of doubt girls are much better if they get excited, all toddlers are bouncy and malco-ordinated so I can't see any fewer accidental headbutting incidents in my future!

I can safely say Amy sounds as rough as the boys! I have bruises everywher from her elbowing me in order to climb over or up me. And she throws things really hard - she doesnt mean to hurt people but she learnt to throw balls and now she likes to throw everything!

How is everyones little ones speech coming along? Amy seems to pick up more words everyday and is starting to try and put words together but she tends to go ' do doh ba biscuit da bo eat da now?' she makes me laugh so much!

Owen speaks in short sentences. He's pretty good at expressing himself! He also shouts a lot and is very vocal when he wants something!!!

Oh gosh Maybe I'm so sorry to hear about your friends baby! That is so sad! How absolutely heartbreaking

Bobby doesn't really say much yet. He says Giga a lot which we have no idea what that means and eyao (miaow). I am trying not to worry about it too much.

Modo - I wouldn't worry much, Bobby will get there in his own time. I'd maybe worry if he said nothing at all, but if he's using a couple of words then I wouldn't worry, even if you don't know what the words mean!

Roh says loads, have a horrible feeling in 6 months I'll never be able to shut him up! He's going through an awful high pitched scream phase at the moment its making me feel like my ears are going to bleed!

Modo - my friend was really stressed about her son not speaking much when he was about two but now he's three and speaks the same as any other child does. They all develop at a different pace

Emera - Owen likes to scream and sort of growls at me when I tell him off or say no to something! Lol

H&F Oliver says a lot and talks in some small sentences now. Its very cute to know what he's thinking sometimes. Most days he says a new word or two, and he recognises most of the numbers now so he will point to number 4 and say 4 etc. His counting isn't quite there - two. Four, Six, Seven lol!! And he's just started saying colours and he'll put the blue things together etc.

Modo I wouldn't worry, he'll be chatting away before you know it!!!
