Moms of April/May/June 2010 babies thread! :)

Yay Sarah, so glad you are busy! :) Clearly you are ace!

Just had a sweep, ouchie, hoping it does something!

Fingers crossed the sweep works! Glad Sunday went well, glad Roh was a welcome disraction and you still managed to celebrate.

Sarah - you are amazing. I feel good if I've managed to function throughout the day let alone be an business woman on top!

H&F - hope manchester, went as well as it could and Dave's dad it on the mend x

We've had an ok day, Will is full on teething and pretty grumpy with hot red cheeks by bedtime. He has started saying please and thank you, finally, he was signing them though, it's quite quite and makes a change to NO!

Swimming and my Mum tomorrow to look forward to xx

Emera hope things start soon! Super busy! Just popping in to check if you've had baby!

Really hoping the sweep works Emera.

Sarah - I cant believe how you run your own buisness I struggle to get through a day without my head falling off already these days!

Just wondering what people think of this as a possible baby name .... Faye Annalise

I think it goes well with Amy but not sure!

Hope everyone is ok.

H&F i love the name Faye, with that spelling too, it was on our shortlist but OH wasn't as keen as me. Not as sure about Annalise, but its pretty :)

Emera - I like Faye. Annalise is pretty and can be shortened to Anna.

Sarah - glad business is booming!

LC - teething is so crappy. Owen just has the 2nd molars to go and am dreading it. he's got a cold now and has woken once already. he cleaned his snot all over my top whilst bf earlier, nice!

H&F - how is Dave's dad?

Super busy at work as the music festival is coming up 18th-22nd March. I have 2 solo singers entering as well as the school choir and my friend and I have been asked to be guest players at the Gala night on 22nd! Haven't even had a chance to look at the music for that yet!

Had the kids open day at school yesterday and we got good feedback. Erin has settled down and Dylan is being as good as gold (wish he was the same at home :haha: )

We're off for 2 nights up the coast to Fuenguirola this weekend. It's a long weekend as it's commonwealth day on Monday. we're going friday and coming back sunday as dan is working monday night. looking forward to a break :)

anyways off to clear up the kitchen. Speak soon xxx :hugs: to all

Maybe hope you have a lovely weekend away!!

H&F I think Faye is really nice, it goes lovely with Amy! Annalise is pretty, it reminds me of the character from Neighbours in the 90's :haha:

Emera I hope the sweep works for you! I think you need to eat another pineapple :haha:

Well I just got though my emails and admin, I started at 8pm  I've been emailing all day too - I even sat outside with the laptop while Oliver played in the fresh air :haha: I feel a bit bad for 'working' while I'm looking after him, but I kind of play with him at the same time and if he brings me a book I'll read it to him etc. I do always have to apologise when people phone up though because he always shouts when I'm on the phone :haha: You're all so nice, I'm sure its easier to work from yourself like I do rather than hold down a 'proper' job :haha:

Have you ladies been thinking about what to buy for the 'babies' 2nd birthdays? Oliver has so many toys . . . . we're thinking about buying something for outside for his 'main' pressie. We've already bought the Little Tykes Fire Engine (Cosy Coupe thing), and he's already got the Police Car though I think we'll send that to my parents so he can play in it there. Our garden is mainly block paving now which is SO good but means that anything with climbing is out, so we were thinking about a play house of some kind? I think he'd like it . . . and maybe a big sand and water thing. Argh its so hard!!

Sarah - We are thinking of getting Roh some more Duplo, as he loves it, but its really quite expensive, so it would be a big thing to get him, if you know what i mean? The other thing we are asking all the grandparents to chip in on (he has 4 seperate sets :haha:) is a really nice play kitchen with the accessories. He loves playing with the ones at the play group, and the play centre, so i think he'd really enjoy it. :)

I had to chuckle at Oliver shouting when you are on the phone! Wish Roh would, but nooo, instead he shouts "phone" when it rings and then picks it up and says "hewwo" and then holds it out to me and says "mummy phone" :dohh: Its fine when its my mum, but less great if its anything more official...

 at Roh answering the phone!! Oliver is obsessed with phones, he's always pretending to talk on ours, or anything else he decides is a phone (like a car or a remote control ) He has managed to phone my parents a couple of times

A play kitchen sounds great! We don't really have the space for anything that big :( Duplo is so much fun . . . . Oliver has Megablocks . . . they get EVERYWHERE! I find them in the bath, in bed, in the washer, everywhere :haha:

Oliver climbed the stairs on his own today, right to the top  We let him climb when we are with him and he LOVES to do it, we go up behind incase he slips (our stairs are SO steep). Usually I hear him if he tried to go up them alone - he giggles when he runs to them and I usually get there when he's on the first couple of steps, or he gets about four steps up and shouts. Well today Steve and I were in the kitchen, Oliver was running between us and playing in the room, I heard a noise and Oliver was right at the top of the stairs  Scarey stuff, I don't want to put a gate on because it would be really tricky to open coming down, but wow, he shot up those steps SO fast today - waaaaay faster than my mum when she goes up them :haha:

They are scary aren't they Sarah! We have to keep our front door locked as otherwise it just opens with the handle. OH let my dad in the other day and didn't lock it, and Roh wondered off, next thing we heard a noise outside and OH rushed out of the room. Roh had gone out the front door and was climbing the stairs to the street! I nearly had a heart attack!

Phones are funny with Roh, he only really treats actual phones as phones, except for dental floss reels, which for some reason are also phones in his mind?!?!

We don't have alot of space here either by the way, but i figured i can fit this little play kitchen in the kitchen itself, so he can play with it whilst i'm cooking. It shouldn't take up too much room i think :)

Owen is in to his scooter, he rides it really well. We got him a little tykes one which is really sturdy but ugly :haha: I was thinking for his bday to maybe get him a mini micro one. It's supposed to be age 3+ but he got hold of Erin's friends one in the park the other week and was fine with it. It's really small too which is good for transporting. Would have to get it from uk somehow tho as they don't stock them here!

Amy is getting a slide or swing or something for the garden ... she is also getting bits and pieces for her bedroom which is costing a small fortune in itself.

I am still looking at different middle names as Dave likes Elizabeth but I am not so sure.

Hope everyone is ok ... Amy is currently fast asleep on me so much for getting stuff done this afternoon.

As we are getting a larger garden in the new house I think B's birthday present will also be for the outside. For a start we will get him a little tykes car but def something larger as well. Any recommendations?

Emera how are you doing hon?

I'm fine thanks for asking Modo, well, fine except for being overdue and having flu :dohh:

Hi everyone.

Emera you poor thing, it must be a bit of a shock going overdue when Roh was early and having flu on top of that, that really sucks. hope LO doesn't keep you waiting much longer, maybe she knows you aren't at full strength so is waiting until she knows you are better.

H&F Not sure if you have updated but hope your FIL is doing ok. Lovely names!

Sarah we are thinking of getting Oliver a play house/a little picnic table for the garden. I was looking at the Keter brand as it is UV protected so wont fade. My H suggested we buy one of those Crazy Coupe cars if Oliver gets birthday money. I think we have run out of space inside the house now for toys  so if anyone asks we will say get garden toys.

Maybe a scooter, thats a good idea too.

To anyone I have missed sorry, hope you are ok.

Hey all,
I have been mia these past couple of days as have had an awful sickness bug and fil has had a stroke :(
Anyhow, I am feeling better!
Emera - hope that flu goes soon
Everyone talking about birthdays - we are going for garden stuff too - table and chairs, sand tray, scuttlebug etc
H&F - i agree with muddles, lovely names :)
Hugs to all xxx

Oh Mork you poor thing, hope you are feeling better quickly and that FIL is doing alright.

Mork: :hugs: Hope you are doing ok :( :hugs:

Emera: Hope you feel better soon hon :hugs:

Mork I hope you're feeling better soon! How is your FIL? :hugs:

Emera how are you feeling? Get out for a good long walk if you can!

Still busy busy here, all good  I recorded Crufts for Oliver last night so we're watching it now, he loves dogs. He's just running about shouting 'doggy, doggy' :haha:

Steve has a week off next week :happydance: We're planning on getting lots of little jobs around the house done so that we be great :)
