Emera, I really sympathise with you, big hugs xx
Everyone else - got anything nice planned for the weekend?
xxx

Ben is ill and threw up everywhere in the bathroom. Feel bad for him. Not looking forward to entertaining B on my own tomorrow :(

Seems like a lot of horrible bugs going around!

Roh and OH have recovered really fast from this virus but its hit me really hard! I feel awful :( OH has had to take time off work. Still no real signs of labour, although with how I feel now that's a good tthing! Hoping to feel better tomorrow.

:hugs: to all of you xxx

Hello all -

The poorly bug seems to have hit us as well ... Amys temperature is right up and I am not feeling great. We were supposed to be going to see OH's dad over the weekend but he is still in critical care and therefore I am going no where near until all these bugs have passed.

Emera - really hope your feeling better today.

Hope everyone else who is poorly feels better soon.

Hi

Gosh hope you are all feeling better soon.

Emera - wow that is such a big but very tidy bump, really hope for you it's your last picture.

Well we had been invited to friends for a roast tomorrow and to see their baby lambs, but have since realised the risk of me going near lambs and thought better of it. Shame, Will would love to have bottle fed them! Luckily they'll have piglets soon so we'll be able to go an see them.

I've only worked two days this week, but feel like I've done ten. I'm soooo big already. On Thursday I went and fell over on my lunch break, think my pride was dented more than anything. I have a couple of grazed knees to show for it. Luckily, I didn't fall onto my bump and baby has been happily kicking away since - phew.

13 shifts to go!!!!!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend. OH is off now for three weeks and so we're going to get the nursery all sorted, quite looking forward to it xxx

Ben was better this morning but now I have the bug :( Feel like crap :(

Emera: lovely bump pic :hugs: Hope you have baby today/tomorrow.

LC: good luck hon :hugs:

Emera gorgeous bump! Glad to hear your feeling better :hugs: Every time I see you've posted I get excited :haha:

L-C I'm so glad you were both okay after your tumble!! Its a shame you can't go see the sheep but like you say its not worth risking. When we went to the farm the other week they said if there was any chance I was pregnant to stay away from the sheep. I think they are staying on the safe side but rightly so.

We're having a relaxing day. I'm rediscovering my bread maker at the moment, my first two loafs were really dense (but made the most gorgeous toast :haha:) but today I realised I was using the wrong yeast :haha: So I tried with the right yeast and it was perfect! A gorgeous lovely fluffy loaf - even Steve liked it :haha: I've also coloured my hair and as normal managed to colour half my head

:hugs: to all the poorly people - hope you are all feeling better soon!

LC: I just reread your post. Sorry you fell down hon :hugs: Glad baby is ok and hopefully mat leave starts soon :hugs:

Feeling really miserable today..... I hate the dog basically. I only just coped with Will and him and am petrified about the new baby coming and how hard it'll be. The dog rules the roost basiclly and we have to remeber to lift the bin up when we go out because he empties it. One slip up on a nappy results in it being smeared across the carpet. If we shut him out he whines, barks and headbutts the door, making it feel like we're under seige. He barks a lot and tries to steal food from Will. OH won't entertain the idea of getting rid of him and spends the whole time defending, which makes me feel lower down in the pecking order. Just really want this time to be all about Will and the new baby not the flipping dog. Sorry for the rant.

Emera - any news?

I see on FB that Hannah has had her baby xx

L-C - We have a similar problem with our dog and OH is so in love with him whatever he does it doesnt matter! If we dont make sure all the nappys are out or leave anything on the side he clears it breaks it or whatever and its a nightmare to come back to a mess everytime. If I shut him out he barks like a lunatic and but I keep shuting him out of the lounge as when the baby comes he has got to get used to it when the baby arrives. I dont know what to suggest but I really feel for you.

Emera - Any news?!? I love your bump picture! I was just thinking I was starting to get a little bump and saw your picture and realised how much growing I still have to do!

Modo - hope your feeling a bit better today?

Muddles - How are you - how is your bump growing?

Sarah - I love freshly made bread ... I have asked for a bread maker for my birthday but I am guessing by the time I get it I will have my hands full with another little one! What colour have you dyed your hair?

Well we are having a quiet day today ... we will probably take some sandwichesdown to have a look at the steam trains as Amy loves going down their and it keeps her quiet for a little while! Dave has just popped out to get some chocolate crossiants for breakfast - one benefit of being pregnant I can eat what I like although the weight is certainly pilling back on again!!! Hope everyone is ok x x x

thanks H&F, what have you got, ours is a weimaraner and is so big and hyper. I feel like such a cow for even suggesting we get rid of him, but my own sanity rests on it. Also Will has taken to shouting at him now copying me and I just think the first years are so important and it's not nice seeing mummy so angry and shouting at the dog.

You can guarantee I'll still be saying this in a years time!! Doesn't help that I feel so bad for even saying it......

Enjoy your day xx

Sorry I have no dog advice, but :hugs: it must be so frustrating!

H+F I am sooo full of baby!

Yes Hannah had her baby last night just an hour off her due date! :baby:

No news from me. Well mild contractions since 4am, but not developing. Giving up hope and starting to look into the possibilities of an induction with waterbirth in hospital. Should be feasible I think. Fingers crossed I go before then though.

L-c - our dog is a mix sort of half collie and half something else. Amy has taken to shouting and pushing him now and although he has never snapped at her when we come in he gets so over excited he almost knocks her over and can scratch her.

Emera - I am willing your baby to come out today! I cant believe she isnt here yet! Hopefully you will just go into labour spontaneously and she will arrive without any intervention.

L-C :hugs: I can only imagine now much work it is having a dog with babies / toddlers. I honestly find it hard enough looking after the cat, I really couldn't deal with clearing up / looking after a dog too esp one that sounds quite demanding. Its so hard though if your OH can't appreciate now hard it is for you. We had to rehome one of our cats when Oliver was about 9 months because she had started peeing everywhere and fighting with our other cat. We'd had her for about a year, we got her from the RSPCA and they rehomed her for us, she went to a lovely lady as an only cat, I don't feel bad because I think she must be happier now rather than been here gettng in trouble. Would the dog stay outside in a kennel?

H&F I just coloured my hair dark brown again, to hide the greys :haha:

Emera are you feeling better after your flu? I hope your little lady decides to make her appearance soon!!!

I don't have Hannah on facebook, I didn't even know she was expecting :dohh:

Everyone is having baby number two apart from me! I am looking forward to hearing how you all get on :)
