Moms of April/May/June 2010 babies thread! :)

LC we've had a couple of bad nights here, but overall she's not bad. Did have a bit of a cry at 3am this morning and announced to OH that I was on strike! :haha:

H+F some people clearly have nothing better to do than butt in on other people's lives! And you are allowed to be hormonal! :hugs:

H&f: how rude! I can't believe what a bitch she was!

Muddles: I have had some comments like that too ( one from a mom of 10 month old ) and it's always annoying. People can be such jerks :hissy:

Move was hell. It's better now. No Internet so on mobile.

Modo - :hugs: At least you are in now and don't have to move again :) Seen how helpful Bobby has been from your pictures! :haha:

I lost 4kg this week!

Modo - glad you're in x

Emera - 4kg that is brilliant, well done!! I can't wait to start, I've put on so much this time.

This weather is awful, the thought of a full day in makes me want to cry. We took Will to the library yesterday and got a film and a book, it was disaster, mainly down to a snooty librarian..... really puts me off going again.

Hope you all manage to think of something fun to do today xx

emera - great weight loss

modo - how is the move going?

muddles - people think that they have the right to comment on your weight/size when you're pregnant. It's amazing how rude they can be. you'd never just go up to a fat person and comment on their weight! Why it is acceptable to some people to comment on a pregnant woman's weight is beyond me!

LC - hope you're better after your fall! Must've been scary :hugs:

h&f - people should really keep their noses out of your business. i hate people who are rude and make comments and stare :grr: yes my child is having a tantrum and he/she will get over it eventually and you're really not helping :grr:

i have been so busy helping backstage at erin's show this week. it's been lovely to share something like that with her :) the little ones were superstars, it's been a really long week for them with 2 dress rehearsals and 4 performances. it's been hectic for us mums keeping them entertained backstage and doing hair and makeup etc, not to mention having to wash Erin's costume every night! lol! it brought tears to my eyes watching her dance though :)

the weather has been great all week but of course now it's the weekend it's crappy. Dylan was vomiting last night but seems better today, though he's still got the runs! hoping the rest of us don't come down with it!

The photo's on FB look great maybe! Fingers crossed you all avoid Dylan's bug and that he's better soon.

We haven't done much today. Made cakes and bought a couple of DVD's to keep Will amused during the rain. The inlaws are over in a bit to shatter the current peace. Will have to go and wake Will up, he seems to be sleeping loads during the day at the moment. Need to limit it a bit but it does mean I can do the jobs AND sit down lol.

OMG H&F can't believe the cheek of that woman! Hope you are ok now. :hugs:

Hope everyone else is ok.

My baby is two today! He had his party yesterday and he loved it, then we had family round in the afternoon. We went to a local fish place this morning which has lots of other animals too like rabbits and birds and more exotic animals too then we went for food. Oliver is so tired now though so is having a good sleep right now.

Hoping this rain will do one very soon, it's rained every day for two weeks now and I'm so fed up of it.

Awww, Happy 2nd Birthday Oliver! :cake:

Ooh its nearly May, loads of happy birthdays coming! :)

Happy birthday Oliver! Hope you have all had a lovely day.

This weather is awful! I would love it if the rain would stop so I could get out and about with Amy ... being stuck in the house drives us both nuts!

Just wondering what everyone is getting their little ones for their birthdays? I am getting a bit stuck on what to get Amy with all the building and redecorating that we are doing at the moment we are a bit short on money. We have also organised a party for her at ours but not sure what to do with all the children now!!!

H+F we got Roh Duplo and asked everyone else to do the same. We have tons now, which is great, he loves it (and so does OH :haha:)

Hi everyone! Hope you are all okay! We had a wonderful holiday, longleat was fantastic - its so interactive! You can feed the deer, and they are lovely, and you walk through the meer cats so they come right up to you! It's wonderful - I absolutely recommend it if any of you get chance. I can't wait to go again, Oliver loved it! The steam train was also brilliant, Oliver just loved every minute :)

Happy birthday to Oliver for yesterday!

H&f Oliver is getting a little tykes fire engine, a scooter (might be a bit big for him yet), lots of Thomas / cars stuff, and lots of little things like finger puppets and stuff. That's what I've got so far anyway lol! He's got so much stuff! I might arrange a little birthday lunch for the bank holiday before his birthday. We'll take him somewhere nice on his actual birthday, maybe to York on the train or something lol!

I'll come back for a Proper catch up later on, Oliver is up to mischief so i'd better go :haha:

Bilmey it's Oliver's birthday a week tomorrow! I'd better get organised!

Hi

Happy belated birthday to Oliver!!!

H&F, we are skint with the baby on it's way so we bought Will an aquadoodle and some DVD's to help occupy him when I'm feeding xx

This rain is rubbish!! Just a dry hour in the morning and one in the afternoon would do it xx

Sarah - sounds fab, we are going to have to go it's not really very far from us. Was it expensive??

That's funny I was just looking at Oliver's ticker and realised that it's not long until his Birthday xx

Sarah, Longleat is great eh? I'd love to go again with the kids. One of those times I wish we had a car.

LC we were a bit poor for Roh's bday too, so got him just a couple of small Duplo sets (its soo expensive!) The grandparents (he has 3 grandmothers and 2 grandads! :haha:) were really generous, so he now has like £150 worth of Duplo! Its a lot to pick up at the end of the day! :haha:
Can't believe you are 37 weeks!!

I did my monday morning weigh in, and after healthy eating for one week, i've lost 7kg!! Not sure how I've lost so much, but yay!

7 kg that is brillaint!! That makes me so excited for losing the weight this time, although I know I comfort eat and I think things are going to get tough and I'll probably end up getting bigger.

Is that from just cutting back or are you on diet. I think I might try WW again and stick to it.....hopefully!

I changed a right stinker of a nappy this morning and put it outside the back door to deal with later as it was chucking it down. A friend popped around and the dog was really badly behaved. Which was made so much worse when I looked outside to see him eating the nappy. I had to go out in gale force winds and catch the sh***y wipes. I'm so mad!!!

OMG juts seen it says 18 DAYS TO GO!!!!!!

H&F
We got Oliver a play house for the garden. This one:

If people asked us what we wanted as a present we said craft things or outdoor toys. Everyone was so generous From friends and family he was given a big slide, a sand and water table, a little square trampoline, a scooter, wheelbarrow and garden tool set, a few people gave him playdough and cutters, a blue dolly in a blue buggy (so he can look after his baby when the new baby comes-think we will buy him a little bottle though rather than get him to bf his baby ), a tool bench, pens, pencils, colouring and sticker books, aquadraw pictures, a fold and go easel, VTech Slide and Talk Smart phone, clothes, a couple of knitted jumpers and some books. We were so surprised as he loves every single present, well maybe not so much the clothes but everything else he definitely did! It has meant that despite the rain he has been outside in his waterproofs as he wants to play with his new outdoor toys!

Hi all ... thank you for all the advice. I thinkk we might get Amy a tea set and a happy land set and then a few little bits and then wait and see what she gets off everyone else! She wont know the difference between 1 and 50 presents!

Emera well done on the weight loss!!! I know I wont lose weight straight after as I eat so much whilst feeding etc!!!

LC - only 28 days to go! were you late or early with Will?

Well I was really looking forward to this week as we are getting into birthday party season and my sister arrives on Wednesday. But I had a message of one of our friends this morning and one of her twins has got chicken pox so they are cancelling their party. But now it looks like Amy also has chicken pox so I wont be able to go near my sister or niece or anything and I was told their are risks during pregnancy so now I am super stressed. x x x
