Moms of April/May/June 2010 babies thread! :)

Sarah Yay for the carboot baragins. That's great you have managed to get loads of Thomas stuff as like you say it is so expensive and you don't get much for your money. I used to live in Scarborough so smiled when I read that you had gone there.

Emera :happydance: for the lie in. It's so nice when you wake up naturally rather than being woken up before you are ready. I'm very much looking forward to the teenage years when I can get my own back

Modo moving is stressful enough without being pregnant. I'm sure baby will stay put until for a couple of weeks longer so you can get things done. Is there a friend or a family member who could come and help?

LC glad Will had a good birthday and that there were no surprise guests during it! My labour with Oliver I had BH and period type cramps for a few weeks before I went into labour so when it did start what I thought were just more BH turned out to be contractions every 5 mins lasting for 1 min. :hugs: for your rough morning with a tantruming 2 year old, a lot of it is frustration I think as they haven't got the speech to explain themself. Probably not much help but make sure you are consistent, don't back down if you say 'no' then stick to it.

Maybe that's great you get the day off and can celebrate with Owen. You always seem to be working so hard, I don't know how you fit it all in to each day!

H&F, LC and Maybe Happy 2nd Birthday to your beautiful kiddies!

As for us we just got back from a few days visiting grandparents. It was a really lovely break, but am pretty tired today as we did it by train so it was an 8 hour journey each way which was thankfully broken up by a stop of 3 hours in Edinburgh on the way up and on the way back. Oliver was so good on the trains, and three people even said how good he was, I was very proud of him.

Good evening ladies!
Maybe -Happy Birthday Owen!!!! Hope you all have had a great day :)
L-C, just wanted to say that I am feeling much the same re worrying about how i am going to cope with 2 on such little sleep :( I have been struggling with some of the tantrums recently because I am tired, when normally they wouldnt get to me. T doesnt go to nursery as family have her when i am working but this week particularly she has been very clingy and has been really upset when I have had to leave her - crying for up to half an hour after i have gone, which makes me feel crap especially as i have just had to delay my mat leave which now means i wont get the one to one time i had planned with her before baby arrives :( Big hugs to you hon xxxxx
Sarah - get well soon!
H&f-hope your day in doors wasnt too stressful.
Muddles-I am not surprised you were so tired after that long journey! Hope you have a good night tonight.
Now, what is it with these little munchkins waking up at 5.30am and how do we get them to wake later????????????
xx

Ladies, :hugs: you'll cope! Its not as bad as I feared I have to say. Ok I admit there have been a couple of days when OH has come ythrough the door from work and I've just cried and told him I want the kids to just go away and leave me alone! However, most the time its been ok. Its a bit of a juggle, but you really get used to it quickly. Plus, the newborn is easy peasy and the toddler is still the same. it will slot into place soon enough

One thing I've started doing is buying roh one of those activity magazines with stickers and things in (octonauts this week). It stays on a high shelf and it only comes down when I'm feeding F. He sits next to me on the sofa and we do sticking stickers (randomly, we don't do the activities, naturally! :haha:) then at the end of the feed it goes back onthe shelf. He loves it, and yesterday he asked me to feed F several times as he loves the stickers! :haha:

Emera-thanks for your post! That's so cute that Roh begs more feeds so he can play with his stickers:) I am hoping to put together a bag for T to come out when i'm feeding so will add that sort of thing to the list for it! :)
xx

Emera: Thank you for that post :hugs: It's was very reassuring to read it

Mork::hugs: some days are really so tough :( :hugs:

We have done a similar thing with an 'activity box' for Amy - it consists of her colours and colouring books, some play doh bits, loads of stickers and some magazines like Roh has. She loves finding the activities now and even though she doesnt really understand them she loves putting the stickers in.

Thanks ladies

Well thankfully today was better, we did have a battle getting dressed but a biscuit in his hand and he went to nursery fine.

I'm due today and no sign of anything. Just been out for a walk with the dog and still nothing, so going to get a load of jobs done, so I'm ready. Wonder how many times I'll say that before anything actually happens.

xx

Modo - any cramps?? I feel obsessed about symptoms that it's close but nothing yet.... how about you?

Just some cramps. Most likely BH  I am just telling myself that I will go to 41 weeks. I am not too bothered about it because I would rather Two-ey stayed in till after B's birthday but I'm sure by next week I will be annoyed. I am hurting quite a lot now when getting up to pee (almost every hour :dohh:) at night.

Ikea delivered my couch today but refused to take it upstairs. I have pretty much been hysterical about that today as the house has just started to look nice and now we have boxes in the middle of the living room again  We need to sort it out before the party on Sunday.

I was the same about Will's birthday last weekend, although it's now been and gone and still nothing lol.

Will Ben help you sort the house tomorrow, I'm sure you'll get there hun. What are you doing for B's Birthday?

Yeah he is. It's a sofa and he has moved one the boxes upstairs but then we had to go to Toys r us to get B's birthday pressie. We came home just in time for his bedtime. Ben is still with him in his room. Ben will probably take the rest of the boxes upstairs tonight or tomorrow.

what are you up to this evening?

We are having a few people over for lunch. Just need to pick up a cake tomorrow and set up the pressie (it's a slide) in the garden tomorrow.

LC - :hugs: I remember feeling like that when I was pregnant with Erin. I also cried my eyes out in hospital the 1st night I was in hospital with her as I really missed Dylan and felt that my little boy was alone without me and though I loved Erin I didn't know her! Silly hormones :haha: anyway just to let you know it's all ok and normal and you will come out the other side! :hugs:

Modo - hope Bobby's party goes well! Must be hard planning a party so near to your due date!

Muddles - glad you had a nice break :)

Sarah - hope your cold is better!

Emera - I like the sticker book idea! My 3 love stickers!

More - how are you?

H&f - hope you're doing well x

I went to see the lion king with Erin last night. It was nice to do something just the 2 of us :) mil and sil stayed with Owen and he was still awake when I got in at 10.45  they wouldn't put him to bed coz he cries :dohh: he was still awake before 7am tho!

My period is late and I'm really worried! I'm sure its unlikely I'm preg as there's not been much action this month but it only takes once I guess!!! Eek! I had a bit of spotting earlier in the week and then nothing :(

Oh my goodness maybe, when can you test??

How did you compare with your due date with D, E and O?? Only 1 day over and no sign that it's on it's way x

With d and e I went into labour on my dd. with o I was induced at term+10!
