Moms of April/May/June 2010 babies thread! :)

H+F - I'm getting on ok! I was just saying to OH though, its the days when F wakes up wet through at 5am, and then i don't get back to sleep before Roh is up, and then F won't go down at bedtime, so i end up with her up until 10pm. Those days are the ones where i really feel it, because it just goes on and on and on! Most days i'm up around 6am with F for a change and a lazy feed, then Roh is up at 7am and we all pile into bed and watch cartoons and eat breakfast. That i love, cuddling in with both of them! The days are a juggle still but i'm pretty used to it now. F is having a bit of a phase where she's getting upset if she can't see or hear me, so thats a challenge! She's also started rolling and trying to sit up! I don't remember that happening so early with Roh? Anyway, things are good in general, and the nights when F goes to bed with Roh at 7-8pm i feel very relaxed ;) She's still waking between 1 and 3 times a night, but with the co-sleeping, thats very managable. I guess i'm just a bit tired!

Seeing as we are decided to NTNP i'm thinking its not going too badly! :haha: F is growing so fast though i can't believe she's in 6-9 month clothes already, little chunker!

Mork we asked Oliver if he wanted the baby to bring him a present and he said he would like a 'choo choo train' then followed it up with 'track' and this hasn't changed since we first asked him not long after our 12 week scan. Anytime anyone mentions the baby he says 'choo choo train. track.' then says 'teddy' as that's what he has chosen to give the baby.

Maybe - yes am going for vbac (hopefully)!
H&F-I am thinking with yours and others answers that craft gifts are the way forward :)
Muddles-think we will ask T tomorrow and see what she says! Although she will probably say 'sister' as whenever we mention the baby that is what she says!
Emera - NTNP???!!!!!
Hope you all have a good weekend xx

Hi all -

Emera - NTNP? ha ha wow things must be settled! I have to say how I am currently feeling there is definately going to be a bigger gap between number two and three ... I cant sleep due to baby sitting in awquard positions and now I am constantly being hit or kicked in my privates which I dont remember with Amy!

Mork - if we ask Amy what she wants the baby to bring she says ' no baby thanks. I'm fine!' - its like she completly understands whats going to happen when the baby gets here but is in denial!

Hope everyone is ok - I am off to look for a few new bits for Amys room today so at least once the building work is done I can get in there and make it look pretty for her!

Lol h&f re Amy's reply re baby!!!
We asked t this morning if she would like baby to bring her a present and she said yes-cake!!! That should be easy enough!!! Lol xx

Mork, :haha: I reckon Roh would have been fine with cake too, he got chocolate buttons, I'm sure that's why he likes F so much! :haha:

H+F - :haha: Amy is brilliant, bless her!

Ok, so NTNP sounds all dramatic, but I seem to recall that to conceive you do actually have to have sex at least once, right? :haha:

F was up every 40 minutes through the whole evening and night last night! I'm soo tired! I've no clue what was wrong!? Typically, she's been asleep all morning! :dohh:

emera do you think it's her pre order for the 3 m growth spurt?

LC I did wonder that, but seeing as she's just done a massive stinky yucky poo I think she had a bit of a funny tummy. I'm fairly sure we had the growth spurt last week, although it could still be on the way.

Well we had a big scare with Owen today. He spiked a temperature of 39.5 went all floppy and we had to rush into a&e. It wouldn't go down even with Panadol! In the end of the doctor said it was a bad chest infection and gave us antibiotics and send us home telling us tat if his temp goes up to 40 I have to take him back. not good seeing as Danny is on nights today. Thankfully he seems to be better although he is still very hot. Hopefully the antibiotics will start working quickly.

Emera - ntnp?! Brave woman. I would freak if I got pregnant again!

Maybe :hugs: hope Owen recovers soon, poor thing, must have been scary! :hugs:
Oh and I want another child (or 2) but I don't have 3 already and I won't be working full time when I do!! I've no idea how you manage!

Maybe, hope owen is better today, that must have been so scary.

Emera you very brave lady, I'm counting down the days until I can start the pill lol!! And no sex until that time and for some time after if I have my way lol.

Mork I love T's request, girl after my own heart!!

Well things here are good. Apart from my hideous post natal rash, apparently there is nothing that can be done apart from scratching all my skin off. I have blood tests today for liver function. It's just miserable, and typical that I had a great birth and recovery and now this, feel a little hard done by lol.

Will is still getting up at stupid o'clock, even with our new gro clock. To be fair to him the past two mornings he's has stinkers of nappies and so I'm sure that'd wake me. Also felt that the penultimate molar is through, so that explains a bit. Hopefully the last one will hurry up and he'll settle down. Fortunately OH has been doing the early morning starts with Will for me, but next week he's back to work.

We are also having our back garden done at the moment, which is slightly manic to say the least. We used to have dangerous tiers so they have been dug out to make it child friendly - will be great once it's all done.

Hope you all have a good day!

LC, we still haven't had sex! :haha: no reason now except we are both knackered! But the pill was making me feel shockingly unwell and crazy so I stopped it after 3 weeks taking it. Soo when we DO have sex it will be fingers crossed :haha:

Hope Will settles for you. I have to admit that we've had a tough time with Roh until the last 4 weeks or so when he's become lovely again. It might also be me being more relaxed too.

F is sooo windy! Its such s pain and has led to a few sleepless nights recently. I'm seriously tired!

Maybe That sounds really scary. Hope Owen is on the mend now.

Mork Love T's answer about what she would like as a present.

LC Sorry to hear you are still really itchy.

Emera NTNP???? Fair play to you though.

I am already panicking about what we will do after this baby arrives seeing as how I got pregnant whilst using condoms. Definitely wont be relying on them again, though I still blame user error on my H's part :haha: He of course denies it. There is still a tiny part of me that doesn't believe I am pregnant as we were using protection, which of course is just crazy as I have had two scans, heard the hb twice, am getting loads of movements and have a giant belly!

Thank goodness, Will's not the only one, hopefully he will follow suit and calm down to. Emera trust me I can't imagine having sex for quite some time, I hate the whole stale milky smell, even if I could muster any energy that would put me off!!

Are you using infacol of anything for F? I've tried to avoid stuff this time, she does bring quite a bit of milk back though. am sure it's the wind and massive supply x

Muddles, I still can't believe I was pregnant!! I keep thinking to myself, bloody hell I was and it was a baby that came out of me lol

LC, i haven't used anything at all on her. I contemplated getting some Gripe water as it worked well with Roh, but i'm not sure i'm going to bother to be honest. I suspect it will make little difference. F is soooo sicky and windy, but i know its because of how she feeds (always as if she's starving to death!!) because she gulps and slurps and then coughs and splutters and chokes. :dohh: Thing is Roh fed way more gently and slowly, so i know for a fact my stupidly fast flow that i have this time is a direct result of the fact i have a guzzler for a baby!! Because i didn't have this sort of flow and supply last time, she's a greedy moo! She'll settle down i think. I'm sort of proud that still the only thing she's ever had is breastmilk. Haven't even given her Calpol for the jabs or anything. Thats way better than with Roh! :) Only real problem i have is she's really not keen on the bottle, i keep persevering though, i really want to go out for a meal and to the cinema soon!!

Ava is far more efficient than Will was, but he was never this sicky. I'm sure once it all settles down so will she. Funny how different they are! I planned a night out with Will and it never happened, so I've written it off this time. I feel better for not having the pressure.

Will refused his nap today so we had a melt down come bedtime. Parenting is bloody hard work, then there are so many jobs to be done at bedtime.

Can't believe F is 3 months tomorrow, it goes soo fast!

Hey ladies,
L-C - you poor thing with your rash :( I've not heard of it before, it is part of the 6 week postpartum period? I hope it goes soon hon xx
Maybe - how is Owen today? Poor little love :( and how scary for you, hugs xx
Emera- have you tried pumping a little before putting F on the breast? May help :)
As for the ntnp, we never used anything between T and getting pg with this one, and although I want more children and a slightly bigger age gap between this one and the next I cant imagine using contraception again either - took my body ages to recover from all those chemicals when i came off the pill for T.
I am enjoying being pg this time so much more than i did last time and although im so excited to meet lo I am also not in a rush to 'evict' it like i was with t by this stage!
xx

I never used contraception apart from condoms between Dylan and Owen. Then I had the depo provera after Owen and never again, sooooo bad! Was moody and bled for about 2 months non stop. We use condoms now as with bf there's only really the mini pill and that's the same ingredients as the depo so not trying that!

LC - hope that your rash improves soon and will lets you sleep tonight! A newborn and a waking toddler=a very tired mummy!

Thanks to you all for asking about Owen. He is much better. He stayed off nursery with my mum today but is perky, though he got clingy a few hours before bed so more calpol was needed. Hopefully he'll be back to normal soon!

I'm watching 'I didn't know I was pregnant' on home and health. Scary

Pleased to hear owen is on the mend :)
I have been watching that too Maybe, i'm still not sure i understand how someone who has had a baby before wouldn't know they were pregnant! xx
