H&F even the best ones are crap at stuff like that.....they are definitely from another planet!! Mine is so funny he's been great since having Ava, but Will has been waking stupidly early and so we tried to tackle it yesterday morning with the gro clock. He got a right strop on and almost ruined the attempt. I had to get up and step in, which meant I was up from 4:30! Well this morning he went back to work. He got up early to go to the gym, I was so cross, no mention of is it ok for me to leave you even earlier, the gym isn't essential. Bearing in mind I've not been able to go for over two years!! He's missed 3 weeks. Urrgggghhhh.
Thanks to MY efforts the gro clock seems to have worked, Will was sat in his bed pointing to the sun at 6 am - yippeeee!!

it's even worse that he gave you the impression you were going to be spoilt rotten and then didn't bother! Men! 
I think that they are just different to us. I love a fuss whereas Dan wouldn't mind if I didn't bother but I do make the effort with him! I think he has finally cottoned on as last bday and Xmas were good but mother's day was crap, got nothing from him, just the kids but mine are old enough (apart from Owen) to do something themselves at school. I really think man are from mars. He probably doesn't even realize you're upset!
