Moms of April/May/June 2010 babies thread! :)

Emera: Hope Roh feels better! Well done to Roh for the potty training :)

Maybe: Is Dylan feeling better?

Muddles: Good luck :hugs: Great to hear the baby is engaged!

Hey all - Hope everyone is ok.

Muddles - glad to hear baby is engaged. My little miss is certainly engaged all i can feel is her head right down there! I am hoping she makes an apperance soon!

Emera - hope Roh is feeling better soon - landscaping the garden ... sounds like us although at the moment all I am doing is demolition! I am literally clearing it as it is in levels so just doing one at a time to see what we are left with!

Hope everyone is ok ... I have another midwife appointment today, yet more blood tests to see if my iron leves are up at all.

Modo how frustrating to have to go private! We are taking Dylan private next week about his ears as its been a problem on and off since winter!

Modo-Great that Lilly's tongue tie is getting sorted, hopefully that will then lead to a weight gain.
Emera-well done on potty training!
Muddles - so exciting that you could meet your baby any day now!!
H&F - hopefully it wont be long before your little lady shows her face either :)
Maybe-fingers crossed the private dr helps poor dylan x
Sarahwoo-great that the business is so busy, but hey we miss you!!!!
everyone else - how are you all?
This thread is so quiet these days as we are all so busy!! I think we should all post a brief update to keep each other posted so here goes mine:
Life with two lo's is great but hectic!! I am tandem feeding and it seems to be that when one wants feeding the other one also wants my attention! I guess this is typical but its hard work!! I constantly feel like I am having to choose one of my children over the other without much margin for ones needs being higher priority than the others! However, this could be because they have both been ill this week with a virus and because they have been grumpy from the heat (and mummy has been grumpy with lack of sleep!!!)
However, I am so in love with my babies and am savouring every moment i can. I wish i could be a sahm forever and that they would stay this age (and so would i!!!) lol!
I am also so excited at the thought of baby number 3 (some may call me odd less than 4 weeks after the birth of my last one!!). At the moment I cant see myself ever being done with growing and giving birth to babies to raise!!!!! I honestly LOVE being a mum :)

Well, thats my ramble!!! lol!!! Who's next????!!!
xxx

Hehe, think i updated a bit earlier, but Mork, so with you on baby number 3! I always thought i was going to just have 2, thats what i've always wanted, but both OH and I have said that we don't feel like we are done yet, and that our family doesn't feel complete yet! ;) Hence we are NTNP. :)

Oh, and also want to be a sahm forever too!! So much so that we've decided i'm going to be! We'll be totally skint, but then we've barely got any money as it is, so not much change there! OH and I both agree that time is more important than money, so yeah, poor, but happy i think is how we are going to be rocking it!

Yay Emera thats lovely news! I love being a SAHM - ok yes we don't have alot of money but we have found ways to cope over the last two years and we just budget for everything. It is brilliant!

I have to say I am already thinking about baby number 3 (we won't be trying for a couple of years though as there is so much that needs sorting in our house fiirst! ) but next time I am having a winter baby!! I love the sun but this heat is killing me being heavily pregnant!

Hope everyone is ok x x x

Oh wow, all this baby number 3 talk. I'm definitely done, love my two to bits and miss everyday that has passed but I really couldn't do it again! Will is being so cute and left for nursery this morning and said bye, love you, to the dog!! then the same to a tractor we passed. So cute, Ava is great, won't sleep anywhere but the car seat of my arms during the day, seeing as it's the last time, I don't mind. she's good at night which is all that matters.

Typically I have womb infection and so more antibiotics, but will be good to get it sorted, had a feeling things weren't right.

Modo - big hugs xxxxx

Maybe hope Dylan's ear infection clears up soon.

Muddles, that's great that you're good to go! Hope you and H&F have them soon and so not too much longers in this heat. It was 27 in my room last night, way too hot xx

Emera, we are doing the same to our garden at the moment, it's sooo much better x

Ok here is an update from us-

I'm so ready for this baby to come, it's more night time that I am struggling as I keep waking because I am uncomfortable/too hot/need to toilet/for no apparent reason. Very excited though and it will all be so worth it. At the moment I am enjoying doing as much as I can with Oliver before the baby arrives, as I am already feeling guilty that he wont have my undivided attention soon.

We have been outside so much with the nice weather, it's been lovely having the paddling pool out and playing with all the outdoor toys we got at birthday time. Have been asking friends to come round to play a lot too as it means I don't have to go anywhere and then Oliver has lots of fun too. Oliver is talking so much, I love his little sentences that he makes up, some of them are so funny and others are things that he has obviously heard us say at some time. He also sings a lot, and seems to know the words to quite a few songs though everytime we get the video camera out he is so desperate to look at himself on it that he stops singing.

I'm with those of you who are thinking of baby number 3. We are too, though would like to have another couple of years before thinking about trying for him/her.

We are in the middle of doing the garden (I say we but my role is keeping Oliver out of the way and not doing any hard graft ) so looking forward to that being done as it was a total mess.

Hope the rest of you are well.

wow seems like most of you will be joining me in the 3 kids family! :) I love my 3 but I'm done now, though I still get broody occasionally! I can't have any more it's hard enough dealing with the flat, 3 kids and a full time job! It's exhausting. I have to work as we cant afford for me not to  So anyways here goes my update: I am enjoying the summer holidays with my brood. It's hard work as they are constantly fighting tho :( I dont know what to do to stop it so if anyone has any ideas they would be much appreciated  my friend from my Bath uni days is coming over next week. I'm so excited as i've not seen her since her wedding about 9 years ago! She's coming over with her 6yr old daughter. We're planning to go to the waterpark in spain one day (hopefully Dylan's ear will be better) and up the rock to see the caves and apes and maybe a boat trip to see the dolphins. Other than that it'll be beach I guess :) it's so hot and not being able to go to the beach with Dylan's ear is leaving me at a loss with what to do. There's only so much baking and painting nails and other such stuff you can do. We have been going to the playground at times but it's very hot! Anyways bedtime is approaching. They're watching Peppa Pig quietly in the living room so i'm going to love you all and leave you. Hope you're all getting some sunshine! xxx

Maybe: hope Dylan feels better after seeing the doctor :hugs:

LC: Bet you are so proud of Will :D Well done to him  Lily also wants to be held all the time and I don't mind at all. With Bobby I read too many "parenting" books and was paranoid about stuff like self settling etc and now as a toddler he co-sleeps with Ben on a mattress. Otherwise he wakes up five am.

Muddles: I really feel for you! I remember how frustrating it was at the end of my pregnancy and I can't imagine going through it now! You are doing so well :hugs: I also spent quite a bit of time with B before L was born. I am so glad I did that now.

Mork: Glad to hear from you hon! Glad things are going well. It's really tough in th beginning :hugs:

Lily had her tongue tie cut today and I guess it went fine. They sent us out of the room during the procedure but called me back straight after it was done to breastfeed her. She wasn't happy but bfing helped. We found out L has a high pallet which she said was interesting. I was advised to angle the nipple further up into her mouth. The TT removal has made a difference to feeding. It's like a vacuum :haha: This afternoon she got really upset and I took their advice by wearing her in my sling skin to skin. She kept crying for a while but then I took her out and she had a good feed from both sides. Hopefully things improve now.

Modo - I'm glad the tongue tie procedure is over and done with and that it's making a difference :)

I forgot to say we're getting a new car: Citroen c4 grand Picasso 7 seater. We're sad to trade in our Alfa romeo but we really need more space! Should arrive mid/late august!

Hey all - hope everyone is ok. We are fine just getting bored waiting for baby to come! Oh well I guess she will come when she is ready! My car is also still not fixed but fingers crossed I will get it back by mid week.

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend.

Hi everyone! Sorry I've not been on for so long! I hope you are all okay :)

Well we are great, I've had a really crazy busy time with weddings but it's calming down now, I have a nice quiet month in August as my parents are away etc so I just took a few bookings that I can do on my own, it feels like such a break to only ave one wedding a week rather than 5 lol! It's all good though, I'm still enjoying it :)

Oliver is still coming along so well, hey ou can hold a full conversation with him now and he speaks so nicely in proper sentences, it's so cute! Some if the things h says are so funny :) He loves singing, and counting lol! He can count up to about fourty now  and can read numbers really well. He's pretty good with letters too and can recognise his name written down - and mummy, daddy and Thomas :haha:

We've been working on our garden a lot too recently and it's almost finished! 18 months after it was started lol! Steve has a week off next week so we'll get it all finished then, I can't wait! It's so much better, we spend hours and hours outside, it's so worth the money we spent on it :) We bought an apple tree last week too which is fab, it's just a small one so it won't grow over about 5' tall but it's lovely :)

I hope all your new additions are well, and Muddles and H&f I hope your babies arrive soon and that you have lovely births :)

I'm sure there's loads I've missed but Oliver is jumping on me lol! Love to you all! Xx

Wow Sarah Oliver sounds really clever! Owen counts to about 15. He speaks in sentences and had conversations and uses a lot of intonation tho!

Tomorrow my friend from my uni days is over for a week with her eldest so looking forward to catching up on almost 10yrs!!!!

Maybe does Owen speak two languages? I really wish I spoke another language, he picks words up like a sponge.

Sarah we speak mainly English but the kids say some things in spanish and understand what we say in Spanish too!

It's been quiet here all week! I've been busy with my friend here. It's been nice. I'm driving them to the airport in malaga tomorrow with Erin and then we are going to stop off at a big shopping centre in spain and go girly shopping :)
