Moms of April/May/June 2010 babies thread! :)

1st day of the summer holidays spent by the beach :) tomorrow Erin's going to cheerleading summer club and Owen to nursery so I get a bit of 1 on 1 time with my biggest baby Dylan ;)

Sounds lovely Maybe! :) Its raining and raining and raining here :(!!!!! xxx

We had 2 whole hours of sunshine today! I literally ran out of the house with the kids when it started! :haha: Very jealous of your days on the beach Maybe! ;) Enjoy your time with Dylan!

Evening all!

Sorry for been so crap lately, I hope you are all okay, your little babies are all scummy!!!

It's rain rain rain here too although thus afternoon was quite nice! We were hoping to go to the great Yorkshire show this week but it was cancelled after the first day and looked like a complete mud bath!!! Not fun!!

I have my busiest few weeks of the year at the moment....we did three events about 380 covers the week before last, 240 last week, this weekend I have 400, phew!!! So I'm a but stressed out and after next week things calm down a bit! I'm feeling the pressure today, blurgh!!

Emera has Freyja had days when she won't be put down? Will was like this and I was so relieved when Ava didn't appear to be. The past two days though - urrghhhh. Hope it's to do with a growth spurt, did you have this for a few days around 6 wks??

LC yeah she got tricksy about every 2 weeks for the first couple of months for a few days each time, now its settled to once a month. I put it down to growth spurts. Most of month 3 has been difficult, but she's settled a bit in the last 10 days even though she has a cough, cold and conjunctivitis  poor thing. I think its pretty normal. I was all pleased she was a chilled baby, then at 6 weeks thought "oh gods I was soo wrong" :dohh: She definitely s chilled out though, she just has blips over growth spurts. They seem to last forever at the time though!

:hugs: I just keep in mind its temporary, and that made it easier for me to deal with. ;)

thanks hun so relieved to hear that!! She's never needed holding all the time and had been settling so well, it's been 3 days now so hopefully she'll get back to herself soon xx

F settles herself way better than Roh ever did. But if she's having a spurt she just won't put up with it!! :hugs:

LC - sounds like a growth spurt to me! enjoy the cuddles, they dont want them for long!

Emera - i love the summer when i can actually hang the clothes out without looking at the weather forecast! :) hope you get more sun!

Sarah - wow you sound super busy!

well today we had a day away from the beach. couldnt face another day on my own there! hopefully will go with a friend tomorrow and then dan is off sunday, though he is working saturday night so will need to sleep! am downloading a chick flick for later when he's at work

She has come over all snuffly in the night to may have also been brewing a cold, that also helps to explain it.

Mark is working today, I'm up and dressed, so started off ok, going to tackle tesco on a saturday with two kids - eeeek.

Hope you have a good day, I'm so jealous of the beach maybe, or the weather to do it. Emera, can't wait to be able to hang washing again, tumble dryer has been going constantly. Dreading the electric bill x

LC, imagine my bill with 2 in cloth nappies! Its endless washing/drying! :dohh: Bloody stupid weather!

Good luck in Tesco! Poor F is really suffering, I had to sleep sat up holding her before either of us could sleep as lying down we both just can't stop coughing. Poor us!

LC - hope tesco went well! I had to brave morissons yesterday!

Emera - hope you and F are feeling better xx

Well yesterday was another beach day and today looks set to be the same. Going to have breakfast and start preparing the bag and packed lunch!

Emera it's rough isn't it, luckily she's ok sleeping it's just feeding that she's struggling with.

Tesco was ok, even though Will was evil, he whined and screamed the whole way round, very embarassing, but I did it and got the shopping away.

Have a lovely day at the beach, I'm so jealous!!

I wanna go to the beach  Growing up we went the beach every weekend and I was always brown as a kid. We would meet up with relatives and friends and us kids would always go off and play with each other. It was so lovely.

Started proper potty training with Roh, cold turkey on the nappies except for sleeping. He's doing great with the wees, about 6 in the potty one in pants and one on the floor today. Pooing a bit more random, he did it when I went to make a coffee and for some reason decided to do it neatly in the middle of Freyja's bouncer chair! :dohh: :haha:
Should be a fun week! :)

Owen is in pants when we are at home! 2 wees in potty and 1 on the floor so far today but not braved going out with pants. Yesterday he pooed and weed in his pants

Emera - that had me in stitches, just imagining the poo on the bouncer. I really should start with Will but I'm too much of a chicken x

Modo-we live 5 mins walk from the beach and i still dont get to go - stupid British summer!!!
All of you potty training - well done!! We aren't attempting it until everything has settled properly following our new addition! But any tips as you go along will be very gratefully received!!!! Good luck!
xx

Anyone got a quinny zapp or know someone who has one? Thinking of getting a second hand (but in good condition) for £80.

Today is our anniversary, 8yrs married! Going out for dinner at 9 when mil comes to babysit.
