Moms of April/May/June 2010 babies thread! :)

I have another little boy as well, Tommy, he's 9 months and still in with us. We had no option but to move Luke into his bed, he was climbing out of his cot quicker than I could get him back in it! He's done really well with it though, so I'm pleased! Although the wallpaper in his bedroom has been decimated! Oh dear!

We're getting a kitten in a few weeks, so he's going to LOVE that! Do yours have any pets?

I was wondering that too maybe, how you doing h&f? x

Maybe - they are HECTIC!!!!!! ~~Why do they both always want to be fed at the same time, cry at the same time and just generally never let me have five mins peace???!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!! I Love being a mum to two though overall!!!!!!!! xxx

I'm glad you're enjoying it! Tandem feeding must be hard! Owen is so obsessed with boob that if I had to feed a baby too he'd probably try to scratch his eyes out!!! He's sooooo jealous! If Erin or Dylan lie on me he throws a fit and tries to get them off!

I am still very pregnant!!! Although possible induction date of tomorrow (please dont say anything on facebook) as we are keeping the induction quiet for now!

Hope everyone is ok x x x

H+F fingers crossed you go spontaneously overnight!!! Failing that, hope all goes well with induction! Xxx

Hi MaskedKitteh! :hi:

Emera did roh ask you for the toilet when you potty trained? Owen sometimes asks but a lot of the time (especially with poo) you have to catch him just before. Had 2 poo accidents today tho only 1 pee one and that was at nursery

He's getting good now Maybe. At home he just takes his trousers and pants off or starts grabbng his crotch so I tell him to use the potty. If he can't see the potty or we are out he now says "need potty" and gives quite obvious signals now, which really helps. The last few days, if he needs to poo he asks to st on the toilet to do it, then triumphantly says "plop plop" :haha: We've had a few wee accidents though, although generally not full wees as he stops himself.

Wow Emera Roh is doing so well! I still don't think Oliver is ready....he just says no if I ask him if he needs a wee or a poo, even when he's had a poo and I ask him if he's had one he says no :haha: His latest was saying that daddy had done it  We've never done much nappy free time though and I was thinking about having an hour or do each day with the potty out and no nappy just to give him an idea about things. Is this a good idea? Everyone says go cold turkey but I really don't think he's ready for that yet.

H&f good luck tomorrow!!

Oliver and I are going to my friends tomorrow for lunch and the afternoon, she's got a little boy who's three. I'm soooo looking forward to it! It's so rare that I get an adult conversation with someone who isn't Steve or family :dohh:

Well no baby here yet so induction it is. I am really hoping it all goes smoothly as I have heard so many horror stories. I have been having irregular painful contractions for two days so fingers crossed they are doing something to prepare me!

Hope your all ok and I will update as soon as I can!

H&f you'll be fine! Just stay positive and confident, you'll do great!

Good luck H+F! If your body is near to ready induction will be smooth and easy! :hugs: thinking of you!! X

Good luck h&f I had induction with Owen. It was very intense but very fast. From proper cramps to delivery less than 3hrs. Proper painful cramps about 7.30pm. 5cm at 9pm fully dilated at 10pm and Owen born at 10.05.

Congrats H&F!!!! Look forward to hearing your birth story when you feel up to it.

Congrats h&f she's gorgeous!!! I'm getting broody with all of you having babies

Hey all -

Eva Grace was born on Wednesday at 3.24pm. She is perfect and identical to Amy ... from pictures they could actually be the same baby!

I was induced ...put the gel in at 11.35 and the midwife said she would check on us in 6 hours. 10 mins after the gel was in Dave had to go and find her as I was contracting every 2-3 minutes and I felt a lot of pressure and moved to labour and delivery. New midwife took over care and she was the most amazing midwife I have ever met and let me stay active trying positions etc. Waters broke at 2.55 and then Eva made her apperance at 3.24. I managed to breathe her most of the way out but then she had her hand up by her face and I had to really push to get her out and thought I would've torn really badly (as did the midwife ) but I only had a small graze exactly where I tore with Amy so no stiches needed. Am very happy as we had no pain relief and she is totally gorgeous and she weighed 9lb 2!
