Ooh I'd love a long weekend! OH has been off work all week, I'll miss him tomorrow!

Started weaning F over the weekend as she's 6 months this week!! No choice but to do blw as she point blank will NOT be fed! More than happy to stuff herself with butternut squash wedges and blueberry pancakes though!

Doing loads of jobs round the house at the moment. I'm itching to move so we need to get the place sorted!

Wow emera 6 months already?! time really does fly!

Mork have things settled a bit more over at yours? Or are you still bf both kids like mad? Owen is still really obsessed with bf and wondering whether I should be more strict and just stick to morning and night feeds. Every time I sit on the sofa he thinks it's a chance to jump on my boobs!

Thanks for asking maybe-the colic seems a little better in the past few days so am hoping we are coming out of it! Yes still feeding both-t has 3 feeds a day-morning, nap time and bedtime. She does ask for more sometimes but I try to distract her! Still showing no signs of self weaning and she also doesn't want to potty train yet so all our money seems to be spent in nappies!!!

Mork I don't think Owen will ever self wean. I'm not sure what to do tbh. I don't really want to be feeding him this time next year when he starts preschool at the school d and e go to!

A year is quite a long time Maybe, hopefully things will change before preschool. X

Roh threw a wooden block at me yesterday in playgroup it really hurt and I burst in to tears (embarrassing, and not like me, but I'm a bit emotional right now!). Anyway, whilst I was still crying one of the other mums came and talked to me and basically suggested that Roh was autistic and that I should take him to the doctors! I can't believe she said that to me, and when I was clearly upset too! Bleugh.
Anyway, now my nose has swollen up all massive and I have 2 black eyes. Think my nose might be fractured. Waiting for OH to get home so I can go to a+e.

Steve is at the races (again lol) today with work. Oliver and I have spent the day feeding ducks and trying to clean the house..... It looks as messy as ever though

sarah - are you planning to stop bf or let him self wean even if that means bf til he's 5?

Emera I hope you're feeling okay

Mork we love feeding the ducks! We have a little lake at the racecourse which is a five minute drive from home, we go past all the time so we keep a bag of duck food in the car so we can just pop in. There is an rspb place about 20 mins away which is fab too

Maybe I honestly have no idea. I think I'd like him to stop in the next year, but I've no idea how I would stop him and if he was going to get upset and stressed I think I'd rather he self weaned.

I'm feeling ok, have a fracture in the bone between my nose and eye socket, which hurts! But overall I'm fine. It will just heal the docs said, so just carry on as normal and take painkillers basically.

Freyja is 6 months today!

Wish we had a duck pond nearby!

I'm moving my website at the moment so I'm designing / writing my new one before it goes live and I've spent the morning trying to sort my emails out. I really hope I don't forget anything or do anything wrong! Technology makes me nervous
