Maybe does he feed in the day? I found it pretty easy to get Oliver down to just night time, just by distracting him really. If he asks during the day I just say no, because we only have boo boo in bed now, shall we get some juice? And he's usually happy with that. Sometimes complains a bit but he knows the rules
Oliver had one of 'those' days today. He was messing about this morning and just out of no where bit my arm! Really hard too, almost broke the skin and it's turned into a huge bruise! He's never, ever done anything like that before! It really hurt, I shouted at him (i dont normally shout at hjm but i had no idea what to do! It was a raised voice rather than a scream lol!) and showed him what he's done and told him I didn't want to talk to him anymore, so he started crying and he was just sat there sobbing saying I'm sorry mummy, I'm sorry! Bless him. So we had a good chat about why we don't bite and hurt people and how it was very naughty, then he offered to kiss it better
When Steve got up he asked him if he'd been a good boy and he said 'no daddy, I've been a naughty boy, I bit mummy' and started crying again and then said 'I love mummy' which nearly set me off
We had a big cuddle and he cheered up. He let me trim his hair too so I think he really felt bad
Do toddlers learn naughty behaviour from other toddlers? I don't know if it's just me been silly but Oliver has done a few things in the past week that he doesn't too normally (biting and throwing things when he doesn't get his own way). Both these things my friends little girl was doing when we went over last week. Oliver saw her get told off etc but could he have picked up the idea? Or is this just a stage they all go through?
