Ladies I need your advice: my OPKs are very very negative, but all other signs (CM, CP, temp dip, stats) say I'm about to ovulate today or tomorrow. The package says its a 30miu LH sensitivity, which should be the most predictive. How do you interpret this? Should I go on testing or leave it? Do you always get a positive OPK before o? I drink quite a lot of water and tea so that might be part of the reason, but I try limiting before testing (I test around 10am), still not even a faint second line.

Maybe test 2 or 3 rimes a day around when you think you are going to o. You possibly have a short surge like I do. I test with my CBFM in the mornings and OPKs at 2pm and 6.30ish pm. I mostly catch my surge with evening opks.

14dpo today, neg HPT this morning. No AF signs or pregnancy symptoms. Clomid gave me a great o day, but I'm guessing also lengthened my LP. I'm not going to test again until Wednesday next week if AF doesn't show... I dare say AF will show though, BD was shitty timing this cycle.

So I have treated myself to a acupuncture, reflexology and a holistic massage tonight and on day of ovulation to try relax me (it's fertility friendly)

My preseed and ovulation sticks came so I'm going to start using both from Sunday, hoping I catch the egg this month

I have lost 4 pounds already just cutting out fizzy drinks and junk hope to loose nearly 10 + pounds by the end of the month..

I'm looking at it as a good sign but it is a bitter sweet one but if I conceive this month I will be due on the 1 year anniversary of my miscarriage x

AFM - CD9 and just waiting. I'm coming down with some flu symptoms. Great. Stuffy nose and sore throat. Just hoping it passes quickly.
 
Nima. Afternoons are better for opks. My positives are usually between 4-6pm hope this helps
 
I agree with the others, Nima. I haven't been doing the afternoon/evening OPK testing recently, but historically it's been helpful for me. I'm just doing the Clear Blue adv digi OPKs right now in the mornings. This month the stupid thing never gave me "high" fertility days (blinking smiley face), despite having ewcm and all other high fertility signs... it just jumped from negative to "peak" fertility. So I went with CM thankfully and got some BDing in despite it not registering on my monitor as fertile.

I think I must have a short surge too. This month and last month the morning my OPK is positive I also have a pre-O temp dip, and my temp spikes the next morning. So I think I ovulate the same day I get a positive LH surge, at least some of the time. Based on OPK I O today, but based on the temp dip yesterday and spike today, I probably O'd yesterday (probably late last night).

I really hope I actually O'd yesterday as I won't be able to travel to where my husband is to BD tonight, so if I O'd yesterday, we had decent BD timing.


So far, this cycle, I'm not feeling as desperate and upset as I have been the past couple (post-loss) cycles. I don't feel the "this is the one!" feeling that I did with the others, so hopefully that complacency continues and I can just ride out this 2ww without getting too crazy. Never the case, but here's to hoping!

Im sad :-( I went to get bloodwork done yesterday to check progesterone levels. I just got a text from my GP the levels were low so I didnt ovulated this cycle. :?

I would keep testing if you can. This month I used OPKs for the first time and was getting annoyed because like you I was having lots of ewcm but no smily faces on my tests. If I hadn’t been taking the tests I would have assumed I Od a week earlier than I actually did. But luckily I kept taking the tests and finally got a smily face for three days in a row. Much later than I would have assumed which could explain why I didn’t get pregnant the last month (would have been way out with our bding) anyway, good luck!!

Hey, I think I already commented on this thread but I’m not on the home page yet? Anyway I’m 8dpo today and will be testing everyday till af or bfp.

Today’s test was bfn so I’m feeling sad but also trying to convince myself there’s something there
