Off topic, thread closing m[o/u]mmies!

I'll be taking her in the bathroom with me in the morning, thanks for the tip!

The worst thing is, we're not at home. Luckily we'll be going home tomorrow. So hopefully I'll be able to sleep in the car (2 hour journey).

It's so rough being ill at the same time. And I'm really upset I'm unable to sleep, because I think that's all I need to feel a bit better.

Hopefully Sophie will feel better tomorrow as she's sleeping quite well tonight. So if hubby can take her for me, I can get a couple of hour sleep in. Luckily she goes to bed at 7pm, so I can just have an early night.

It's just been hell. She's flat out refused her dummy since Wednesday. So there's screaming fits again before falling asleep like when she was newborn. She also can't comfort nurse because of her nose. Normally I would've just slept half naked so she could just nurse constantly at night, but it makes her anxious and really doesn't relax her.

I reaaaaaaaaaaally hope when it's over she'll take her dummy again and that she'll relax again when nursing.

Anyway. Really sorry to hear about Mason! Made any progress yet with convincing him to have the surgery? :hugs: It must be so hard for you!

Lauki,
Sorry you're not feeling very well and I'm sorry that poor Sophie is still suffering too. That has to suck that you both are sick right now. :hugs:

No real progress on the Mason situation. We are going to be seeing a child specialist at his Pre-op so hopefully they can explain the surgery more. We are just not speaking about the surgery at the moment avoiding it all together (his choice).

Ava refused her soother (dummy) when she had a cold too, it was because of the sore throat. Sore throat and sucking the soother don't go well, also when her nose was plugged she wouldn't take it either, I think because she couldn't breathe!! I should add Avaès turned out to be a throat infectiong. If it is not better withing 4- 5 days it could be an infection... I didnt know that, but for babies it is faster to get an infection. SO make sure if she is still bleeh.. you do get another dr to see her.. even if 1 said its - just a cold-.

Thats my best advice to you, comes from the experience of 2 kids!

Hope you can gets some rest, and get you 2 feeling better!!! Breastmilk is supposed to make virus's go away faster!! So your one step ahead of the game there!!!

:flower:

I'm just desperate for a sleeping pill .

FOR FUCKS SAKE.

I had a nice long response typed out. and b&b "timed out" and wouldn't connect, so it was lost.

hope all of you bitches are doing well.
I hope you & Sophie get to feeling better once you get home! <3

:hugs: Lauki - poor you and Sophie, hope you both get better soon

morning. DB hugs to Mason. Lauki, I hope you and Sophie feel better soon

Thanks ladies about being so candid about your miscarriages - must have been so tough.

:hugs:

Now I'm off to see what shit there is on BC

Sophie is doing much better. Still a cough, so still refusing her dummy so she struggles to fall asleep. But she's now busy pulling herself up to standing on the television stand, all while blowing many raspberries, so I'm guessing she's on the mend.

I've slept 20 minutes twice today. Hubby is now in bed, but I can wake him up in 5 minutes and will try another sleep.

I do not have the energy to catch babies that fall over doing dangerous things ;).

Now I'm off to see what shit there is on BC

Same shit, different day.

Lauki, I hope she feels better soon. We're working now on our second cold in less than a month, the worst part is the puking due to coughing fits.

Why can't you drink 2.5 bottles of wine? Do you fall asleep before the last 1/2 bottle?

Here's what happening in BC today:

Judge Judge Judge. Judge? Judge Judge JUDGE!!!!!

That's also followed with the thread that read:

I'm better then you. So much better. Me. I'm the shit. ME. ME ME ME. MMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I'm fucking WONDERFUL! You suck.

That about sums it up.

Wow, I didn't know you were so fucking wonderful, DeeDee. :p

Haha :D. When I was a teenager and up to about being 21 I partied a LOT and drank so much it's unreal.
When I got diagnosed with a bad depression I went onto anti depressants which meant I obviously couldn't drink. So I went cold turkey there and then. Since then I barely drink because my body can't really handle it anymore. Sometimes I have the occasional shandy or cider. But since falling pregnant all I've had was 1 sip of Baileys, half a Cider and a small Shandy.

I'm a lightweight now :haha:.

I really can't be bother with BC today!

Lauk- glad she's feeling better! Sorry that you are so exhausted though. Your OH sounds lovely taking shifts with you!

I was prescribed Lustral when I was about 18 for my depression. I think I was just a spoilt teenager though who hadn't learnt what hardship actually was, so just moped about being pathetic! I don't think I was actually 'depressed', I just had a bit of an eating disorder so was probably moody from low blood sugar lol!
Was on a high dose of AD for years so couldn't drink that much either until I moved to London and then I went kinda cold turkey on the drugs...OMG, coming off was awful! I then substituted my serotonin high that I got off my Lustral for booze! So ended up drinking rather a lot. I didn't drink during my pregnancy and not for months afterwards due to breast feeding, but I now can feel myself slipping back into a comfortable routine of having a drink at night (or even during the afternoon).

Just got back from Shepreth wildlife park. Was lovely! Tabby really does find animals hilarious! She laughed hysterically at the parrots and we had more people standing around us watching Tabby than at the animals! She roared at a pig in the petting area and then started cackling madly at it, and then tried to grab a small monkey thing that was loose in the rainforest indoor bit.
Altogether, a fun day!

Note to self: Never piss of MizzDeeDee

Wow, I didn't know you were so fucking wonderful, DeeDee. :p

I am. I'm the shit. I'm perfect.

Part of that is that I love my MIL. I just love that mean, nasty, lying, manipulative heifer to pieces.

 at MD

Glad Sophie is a bit better.

I'm currently abusing my child by making her sleep outside in -12 weather. And spent an hour trying to open a trailer that had frozen shut :dohh: and brought in a shitload of firewood. I am super woman today. I even cooked my man a meal :haha:

Yeah, I leave her by the side of the house
This is where she sleeps (that door isn't in use, its by the side of the house)

Here's a great recipe for you guys. Make sure to read the comments:

wow!...why? Genuinely interested! What do you dress her in and why not just park her indoors?

I guess you guys have more room and are a bit more remote. Here.....if someone saw my buggy with a baby in outside in the snow, social services would be called.

I used to put T outside in the shade in my back garden in summer.
