wow! Lauki, that's amazing that your LO is commando crawling! My LO certainly cant do that! She bunny hops, and rolls to where she wants to get to. Not using her arms properly yet!

She's such a determined little bugger! She was throwing proper tantrums because she couldn't reach toys. Then just before she turned 5 months she just started pulling herself towards the things she wanted! Now she's slithering all over the place.

She's been on her tummy just about the whole time since she learned to roll from back to tummy. Unless she's feeding or sitting on the sofa she will be on her tummy. I think that's why she's been so quick with it!

Standing and cruising before 7 months is pretty amazing! Have you babyproofed your house yet ?

Her latest (most annoying) new habit is roaring. She started that whilst watching Raa Raa. She now does it all the time. Loudly. Used to chat away nicely, now just roars. At least she's stopped the exorcist laugh!

We put blankets down with toys on it... before Daniel figured out commando crawling, he figured out he could pull on the blanket and bring toys to him, lazy little shit, lol

I love his babbling, but he only recently started responding or mimicing us... before if we tried to talk back to him, he'd clam up. He started screeching at the top of his lungs lately.. that is pretty ear-splitting :/

I wasn't seriously thinking about more at the moment. Avery is at the separation anxiety stage and clingy. I mentioned at Babies R Us how cute something new was and that's when DH told me. Not the best timing.

I still need to give Avery a bottle or rock her most of the time. I put her in her crib when sleepy, but never fully awake.

Well I tried to put her down awake for a nap last week after I got tired or rocking not working. She must have eventually gone to sleep, but she threw everything out of her crib. I think if she could have gotten her sheet off, that would have been gone too.

As for the sleep thing... We started reading a book after the boob time so he wouldn't get too dependent on it for sleep...we use a pacifier instead.

You could try starting with putting your LO down when drowsy instead of fully asleep?
