I just had a taco salad with some tortilla chips, Not toooo awful except the chips part but I didn't eat very many..The Mt.dew on the other hand...

Tomorrow starts what I hope to be the beginning of my diet! I need to get a scale.

My diet is going to be on hold for a bit.. life is a tad hectic at the moment, and I need to get the appropriate foods./snacks in the house BEFORE I start...

I don't think Cotton Candy Ice cream will fit well into my diet

Its still so mild here! About 8 degrees today. I have yet to see frost!

It is really nice here today too.. surprisingly. We usually ahve over 3 feet of snow .. and still snowing.. this year we have like none. We had 3 feet and its all melted.. +11 here today.

I might start believing in global warming here soon

As for the sleeping thing with Corrine. She does what she wants. Maybe it's not when she goes to bed as much as her waking up through the night. For instance, she fell asleep at 9 last night before I could feed her, and she woke up at 11:30 and went back to bed around 1:30ish.

If I take her out somewhere.. like let's say Christmas- she didn't take a good nap the whole time we were out. I even took her into another room to sleep and she slept for like 20 minutes and again hours later for maybe 30 minutes. Then she didn't want to sleep that night at all.

She just doesn't want to miss anything. So I'm stuck with a vampire baby. It's better though, last week she was staying up until 4am. I mean, her in bed not sleeping for hours....that's how bad.

I had ADD and OH has ADD- real ADD... we were diagnosed in the 80s before everyone that ever lived was given that diagnosis.... ANYWAY- people with ADD and ADHD have that problem... they can't "shut off" at night and have a problem "turning on" in the mornings. They also tend to walk early too and she is now a cruising pro- I wonder if she is just exhibiting signs.

Fine with me- it's not the kiss of death people make it out to be.

My husband has ADHD he was diagnosed, and he has major issues shutting down at night, he will stay up and play video games all night, until like 4 am then come to bed to get up for 7 am- but hes fine usually doesn't show much signs of being tired...

I 'heard' ADHD children/adults. Don't require as much sleep ? Don't know how true it is though. Something to do with they charge up faster

Its stupid to ban names that aren't actually offensive (i.e. swear words, racist, sexist etc.)

Baaah everything is banned... like why can't my user name be.

A. How the hell did I miss a post about Taco Salad? MMMMMM..... I had greek yogurt today.


B. Yes I agree with the ADD/ADHD thing. Before I got sick I needed half the sleep I need now. I could sleep 5 hours every night and be ready to go (once I got going). Not so much now. I do however still have issues shutting down at night and so does Corrine. It's pretty obvious.

No matter what it's labeled as, she'll be a handful... she already is. She doesn't sleep for shit.. and all day, all she wants to do now is cruise. She'll fall like 980498234 times and turn around and get right back up on something and start cruising. She will hyper-focus on things too and redirecting her works maybe half of the time. I think I'm in for a wild ride with her... oh, and her temper!!! WOOO!

It's okay though.. at least life won't be boring.

I saw that too about potty training at one. The thought is that babies don't realize what it feels like to have a full bladder or have to have a bowel movement until they are 12 to 18 months... but they(the moms in that thread) use clues to know when their baby is going to go to the bathroom...

I am also too lazy. I hope to have her potty trained by 2. We'll see.
