Ugh. So AF is two days late. It's unusual for me as I'm normally very regular and on time. I've been having some cramps (not as strong as I usually have) as well as nausea. I thought there might be a good chance. ..

So this morning I tested.

BFN. :'(

update: I have 3 follicles on right side, one is 20 the other 2 are 14. my lining went from 7 to 10 and is triple layered so we are doing the HCG shot tonight, and our first IUI scheduled for Friday morning!!! I'm excited, but trying to remain realistic. I know they don't always work on the first pop. But I can still hope

Trying for first : sorry to hear that have you been ill recently I know that can affect cycles?

Tirimusu: oo good luck! With my first pregnancy (m/c) I was just over a week late before getting a bfp, so keep positive!

aww, thank you!!!
Also, regarding Tirimusu: my first pregnancy..i didn't get a bfp til 1.5weeks past my missed af. hormone levels are diff for everyone.

Tryin41 sorry to hear you aren’t feeling well that just makes this journey harder! Tiramisu87 I w/Trying41 don’t give up yet praying for you! MrsLCS sending Hope and Prayers your way!

Thank you for feedback on Provera and support felt like I was going crazy there for a few days. So game plan is to wait two weeks from last BD take HPT and if Negative start Provera I also go for pelvic ultrasound tomorrow and goodness I am nervous!

At first I didn’t realize it was an internal ultra sound then figured it out with help from Comet. So I was like ok I have had one before I can do this…but then I started really thinking about the last time I had one done which was the night I was m/c and now all these thoughts and emotions I thought I had laid to rest are coming back and I am having a hard time here! The last time was horrible and I am so afraid I am going to lose it emotionally tomorrow! But then I am like get it together girl it has been almost five years move on! But I cant seem to shake these bad thoughts and emotions…just pray for me for strength for me ladies and thank you for this safe place to share!

Hi Girls...

Congrats Ellie001 so happy for you!

Sorry I have beem MIA for the past while. I joined the group then have taken a hiatus as I have been trying to deal with my first anovulatory cycle that I know of anyway. I normally have a 26 day cycle and ovulate around cycle day 11/12. I am now at cycle day 17 and no ovulation has occured. I have had all negative OPK's since cycle day 9 and BBT has stayed at 97.4 for the last 7 days no fluctuations at all. Anyway sorry for ranting... How is everyone coming along?

Thank you! & have you tried checking and monitoring your CM? I didn't use opks or charting, but i did use a ovulation prediction calendar and checked out my CM and compared what the websites said was fertile CM to mine and it was. That may help you, just another way to evaluate what your body is doing!

ByHisGrace08: I am praying for you when you go for your scan! I know thoes memories have got to be tough to deal with. Hopefully this visit will lead to much better and happier thoughts for you though.

Tiramisu: Don't count yourself out. wait a few more days and test with a FRER. I have read so many stories of women not testing positive untill several days or weeks after missing AF.

So we got the results back, it's not good news :'(. He has normal count and mobility but his abnormalities are high. You have to be in the range of 5% -100% of normal sperm, his are less than 5% normal. She is making him do another because it may just be a bad batch, but it pushes my referral to the specialist back by a month . Gutted is not even the word for me right now... pcos and bad swimmers all within 2 months? What else.

try to relax.. it might just be a bad batch.. and even if its not, im sure there is some kind of supplement he can take! I know you are feeling awful right now..i know! but you need to try to stay positive.. it does however save you from a month of bfn's... right? cheer up doll

Unfortunately he already takes vitamins c and zinc and Macs supplements with all meant to help.
Hopefully it is just a bad batch! Feeling a bit better now, I just really wasn't expecting or preparing myself for bad news. Thank you x

Everything is going good so far! I will be 5 weeks tomorrow. I have gained 8 pounds in the past week, but I have been eating terribly and not exercising like i normally do. I have been feeling very gassy, constipated, and bloated. I also feel like a urine factory, and I am having a hard time sleeping at night. But hopefully I will have a better time from now on as I have realized I have to eat better and exercise more. My Furr Baby and I walked for a mile this morning and plan on going again this evening & Ive eaten very clean today!!! Although I can gain weight very fast, I can also loose about 4 pounds with just eating right for a few days... its the long term weight loss i struggle with.

& I have only told a handful of people, which my DH is aggravated with. Ive told my mom, my best friend and her mom, another close friend, and two ladies at work, one of which is pregnant and we are on the same insurance plan so I just told her because I had questions. & The other knew I was trying so she kept asking me how my test went. We are celebrating my Dad's birthday this weekend and I plan on telling him then. I would hold off, but there are so many reasons he needs to go ahead and know, especially since I am on his insurance. We plan on telling my DH's family at Christmas. It is killing me to hide it from them, but we want to make sure my appointment goes well before we make the news widespread.

Sorry that you got another dose of bad news. I am praying for y'all that it was just a bad batch, and if not, that there is something y'all can do to improve it. & I know you must be very stressed after hearing this news, but try and take the month to just enjoy each other and the life the two of you have together. Do the Deed without the pressures of conceiving and go on a few dates. Take some time just for the two of you!!! Afterall, stress only makes things worse, and if you can divert that stress, maybe things will start improving in the area of conception.

Comet - Sorry for the bad news. It's possible that another test will show better results. Don't give up hope and keep thinking as positively as you can.

Ellie - Congrats on your pregnancy, so happy for you.

Praying for all of you ladies here. Thank you for your encouraging words.

I'm on my 4th day with still no period. I am very hopeful but I am going to wait a few more days before taking another test.

I too am plus sized, and TTC . In addition, I have pcos as well. I just wanted to tell you that you will def conceive. I wasn't as heavy w/ my first child, but I was def still plus sized! Best wishes to you on your journey.

I wouldn't say I'm strong LOL. I have wanted to test every day. But I hate getting my hopes up just to see a negative. So I will wait a bit...I guess. DH wants to test tomorrow morning. Haha
