Thanks Sarah, that looks pretty much like what I have, but I dont have the 12week GP one I did phone them aswell and they said no. But I'm happy to wait until my 16week midwife now as I saw Baby D is ok, hopefully nothing will change in the meantime!! xx

Hey ladies!! I want to introduce you all to Baby D!! Our beautiful little dancing Gummy Bear!! 10weeks and already got some good moves going on!! lol it was beautiful and did a little dance as if to say 'Mummy! Daddy! I'm here!!' I'm so in love, I can't wait to see our baby in the flesh and give it the biggest cuddle ever, I dont think I'll be able to put it down!! Only 7/8 more weeks and I wont have to call the baby 'it' anymore!! xx

Hehe, I nearly forgot!! I brought my DH a t-shirt that I made for valentine's to make light of his 4%ers! lol As you know DH was told that out of the 1million sperm p/ml he had, only 4% were swimming!! So it's become a private joke but the t-shirts pretty cool and he likes it, so thats good!! xx

The MW wrote them all in my green folder for me good job too as i have baby brain already

I have my Scan on Monday 12wk gp appt following week
and my consultant appointment in April. So all go!

We've also booked our hol for July to Butlins, Kids love it there x

Yay! Good luck for Monday!! It will have changed so much since you last saw it!! My EDD date got changed when I went in on Fri, to the 15th, wonder if yours will too? Ooh I want a holiday, I'm hoping my parents will take me to kefalonia with them but I doubt it, otherwise it'll be no holiday for me this year we're all spent out with the op and getting all the baby stuff etc. You'll have a lovely time! I havn't been butlins in years but always enjoyed it!! which one you going to?

Reversal: No i dont want it, i never had it with my other 2, i knew a lady who was told she had a downs baby and she was born not having downs

Bloody checked my bank online today and ive been frauded! cheeky ******** only did it twice aswell! Grrrrrrrrrr

Bank were brill and i will get a refund thankfully x

Hey!! Wooo you excited!!!!! I'm excited for you!!! Thats terrible about your friend being told she was having a downs baby then it wasn't. But the nuchal scan is the one that gives you the odds and if the numbers are high risk then they give you the option if you want further testing (the one that carries risk of misscarriage). Me and DH decided to have the first test and be told our odds and if it is highly probable then we can prepare ourselves for the fact that it might be Downs, but we wont be having any further testing. To us, there are alot of other things that are worse than Downs and we will be more than happy with any baby we get. But even with fursther testing, they still dont know for sure and thats not fair on some people, like your poor friend.

Thats poo about you getting frauded!! Glad your bank are on it and are sorting it though!! xx

Well we arrived for the scan at 12.20pm bursting for a wee had to wait another 20mins for scan

But our lil baby is beautiful! Jumping around waving non stop at us! so cute!!!

Everything is perfect, i had a MW that was training so she scanned me for a bit longer than normal, but i was so uncomfortable with a very full bladder and back ache

So for my patients i got 4 photos for the price of 1

And they put my dates FORWARD!!! yay!


I'm 11 weeks and 4 days


Were so chuffed

It loks like baby bump has a huge nose lol, but its his/hers hand behind their face xx

Yes it was lovely cant believe how much bump was moving around and waving so much like saying "Hi Mummy & Daddy here i am!"

I felt my daughter move at 17weeks (2nd pregnancy)

The lady was trying to point out what was what and where and I couldnt really make it out, then it did a little jig and I could see everything, it was like it knew that I was struggling and moved as if to say "Mummy, daddy, I'm here! look!" and we could, thats when I cried! xx

I first heard the baby at 10 weeks 6 days (when the doppler arrived) I'm not sure when the midwife uses the doppler as I've not seen her since I was 7 weeks and I'll be 17 weeks when I next see her, The dopplers are great to put my mind at rest as I've had brown spotting alot and last saturday morning when I went to the loo I wiped and there was bright red blood on the tissue but I checked babys heart beat on doppler it was really strong and I could hear it moving around so it saved me from stressing and a trip to the hospital

ooh thats exciting! Which doppler have you got? I've seen them on amazon. Are they safe to use? I'm sure they are otherwise they wouldnt sell them, oooh its payday next week, I think I'll get me one!! xx

Oh sorry to hear this, some women are prone to spotting through pregnancy, i had 2 episodes and 1 after it is worrying but like you said the doppler must really help. i was looking at a few on Ebay. I have my 12wk gp appointment on Tue, well i'll be 12w5d as they changed my dates, hoping she'll listen in x
