September Clomid Users!

I'm out for this cycle. 9 day LP  So I can't say Clomid did much of anything for me.

I just had a first appointment with an RE yesterday (my OB put me on Clomid), so we'll see how different things get. This coming month will just be about diagnostic tests and ultrasounds and things, so we'll just be trying "naturally" (no clomid or any other therapy). Then we'll decide the best course of action for November. One interesting thing is that this RE doesn't generally use Clomid - They prefer Femara because there are fewer side effects. Since I had SO MANY side effects with Clomid, I'm definitely up for trying something new if that's the course they decide is best for me.

GL for the rest of you ladies this cycle :dust:

Genesis - Did you ever test?? How are you hanging in there?

Sorry to hear about your 9 day LP - I hear that Vitamin C, dark leafy greens and fatty acids can help with that. - I just googled it and found this site.

Girly - EWCM can be a little cloudy sometimes so yes, I would consider that as fertile CM. For me, it will sometimes start off a little cloudy and then get clear the closer I get to ovulation (or AF). As long as it stretches it's ew

Jeez, well apparently I'm still not quite done with Clomid symptoms.
*TMI* I am having EXTREMELY heavy bleeding this month (or at least today). I can hardly keep up with it!!

Oh, Krissy - my period was all out of wack last month too. And the cramping! Woh, I've never had menstrual cramps as intense last month - ever!

Ok everyone, not sure what this means but CD25 I had to get blood work done to check my progesterone. Well the results came in today it is at 19. Does anyone know what this means?

Krissy, wow I get months like that now without clomid; eeekk! Thank you in advance for the warning.

Wow! That's a really high number 20years! When I had cd21 blood work done my progesterone came back at 8.6!

(and my doctor said that level is consistent with ovulation)

:( I just read that every country has a count of their own. In Canada anything over 20 is considered good. But that is also for CD21, so I am hoping that is decreases with time.

20yrs - Yeah, this cycle is really terrible. I am sincerely a bit nervous that I've lost so much blood that my CD3 blood work tomorrow is going to say I'm anemic lol.
FXed for your numbers, and hopefully you won't find out what post-clomid AF looks like. :dust: Did your doctor give you any interpretation on the numbers?

no she didn't she will tomorrow, I just thought that would have been ready for me today. sigh, she told me 2 years ago that I was a tiny bit low but she was not worried because the drop was not huge. At least now I know, and I have a reference to fall back on. still frustrated, I already asked about a supplement incase my numbers were low, and I was told that if I did need it I would have to go to a fertility specialist. :(

Well the potential EWCM seems to have started like that this morning but this evening it is back to tacky. Don't think I am going to ovulate yet again. Really gutted!!! Another month gone and no luck.

20 years they sound like good levels xx

Hope everyone's still hanging in there. I think I'm out this month. It's CD29 now and spotting/cramping etc... we will see what tomorrow holds but I think this is AF. Also had a temp drop below coverline this AM so that's never a good sign! I'll try Clomid again next month but I'm hoping my OB pairs it with IUI this time.

Good luck to everyone :)

I have a headache from hell this morning and my temp dropped again. Tomorrow will be 14DPO and only the second time I have made it to 14. My cycles are typically 26 days - 12 being my usual LP. Dam cramps going down my legs this is a whole lot of hormone going through me right now. Is everyone moving over to the clomid in October thread? Or shall we just keep going on this one. Id rather stay with everyone here cause this will be round two for most of us. :)

if AF holds out for you it may spike up again tomorrow. :) And if not Ill be routing for your OB to pair it up with IUI too. :flower:

Thank you, unfortunately AF came this morning. Way more painful and heavier than usual but hopefully it will pass quickly. I'm going to call my OB today. Good luck to everyone else! Keep us posted.

I'd rather stay on this thread than join a new one :)

MG - I'm so sorry AF arrived for you - I think it's a good idea to speak with your OB about pairing it with IUI. You can still bd at home, but why not add one try where they help the little swimmers along.

Oh, and yea - AF while on clomid was one of the crazier afs I've ever had. I've never felt cramps like that before. Let us know how it goes with your ob today!

20years - It's good that your LP is lengthening! How are you doing today?

AFM - I'm still hanging in there. My temp didn't drop this morning and is still on the higher side. It's not through the roof high though, so I'm nervous to read TOO much into it.. but I'm definitely feeling a little hopeful as my temp is usually on the downword decline by 12dpo. However, I do feel a little crampy. Not full on cramps.. but sort of feels like it could turn into cramps at any moment. I'll be testing on Sunday provided AF doesn't show. Gah - Sunday seems like a lifetime away still!

I'd also rather stay on this thread, personally. Good luck everyone!

Thanks savansanna- I'll let you know what my OB says.
I'm happy for you that temps seem good! I'll keep my fingers crossed that AF doesn't come for you and you can get your BFP! It'd be great if someone on this thread got some good news :)

MG - Sorry the :witch: got you.... I had the same thing, incredibly painful and heavy. I had to go for CD3 fasting blood work today and I almost passed out without being able to take any kind of analgesic. (Granted, my dysmennorhea was part of how I ended up on Clomid but this was a doozy, and the heavy bleeding was new).

Sav - your temps are definitely staying strong!! FXed you become our first :bfp:! :dust:

And I think we're pretty unanimous about keeping this thread going for next month then :)

I still have this headache oh my goodness, still bloated... -.- cramps and my whole body is achy . :( Dizzy spells - wow, so im eating chicken soup dizzy spells is a sign that my blood pressure is low again. sigh, and everytime I move I feel like AF just started I run to the bathroom and nope. OHHHH get on with it already!!! Im so done with these PMS issues that I normally do not get.

Thanks savansanna- I'll let you know what my OB says.
