Quick question girls, as I don't really think a new thread needs to be started for this..anyway, I have my first set of CD21 bloods due to be taken next Tuesday before we can be referred to the fertility specialist , but obviously GP's work on the regular cycle, and mine is slightly longer at around 35 days.

I have worked out that my CD21 would actually be the day I ovulate, so surely my progesterone levels will be low? I don't want my doctor to call me back in and say I'm not ovulating because I did the bloods on the wrong day and go down a path which leads to no where... I have spoken to my doctor who said to go for the CD21 bloods as there are no other appointments until 2 weeks later, which would be far too late.

I am also being tested for EVERYTHING going, thyroid function, FSH, LH, Glucose, Prolactin etc etc... would these be affected if they were taken during the day of ovulation, or would it just be my progesterone which would be a little squiffy?

Steph.. I would call and talk to your doctor and let him know that your cycles average around 35 days. This same thing happened to me. I ovulated on CD 19-20 according to my temps on FF last month. I went in for my CD21 blood work and it came back neg for ovulation ( Which I think was a false neg, because progesterone levels don't peak until 7DPO.) It is worth bringing up.. GL && FX'D for your appointment!!

Hi All They didn't see the baby - it's all gone out of me and I'm bleeding lots bright red like a period few more days and I would have been 7 weeks

I guess I'll join the angel baby group - don't know why there are so many thins month

Sorry for your lose greenpear i lost my angel baby at 7 weeks on the 9th Sept dont ever give up! im back to the TTC group again got such a long wait again after waiting months to fall pregnant and then when it happens it gets taken away from you i no how hard it is, & im here if you want to talk x

Hi, I know I was meant to test by now but I was too scared to. I am due AF today and no sign yet, but got bad indegestion like cramp under my rib cage after eating, and very bad back-left gum where wisdom tooth is coming through as well as had two tendonitis flare ups in my wrist this cycle, who knows if they are pregnancy related. Boobs sore, but they always are before AF. I tested this afternoon at a guess of 14dpo (but who knows) and bfn. Just playing the waiting game.

1babydreamer- i didn't chart this month but i plan on it next cycle if there is a next cycle DH and I just did the SMEP last cycle. I am glad it is working out so well for you. I am def. going to give it a shot. Try not to symptom spot too much it always made me get my hopes up but stay faithful cuz its possible that those are signs! good luck! i look forward to hearing good news from you on the 28th!

I will definately continue to temp/chart into the next cycle (if AF comes ) as it helped me pinpoint my ovulation day and I feel a bit more in control now. You're right, I shouldn't get my hopes up but it's the unusual symptoms that have me intrigued now. I always have some cramping and bloating before AF but it's usually the day before of day of. And my BB's are always full and sore before AF but they're not at all at the moment. Just tender on the top right BB. The cold symptoms are the strangest as I have no idea what that's all about. I don't feel sick like I have a cold, I just have a sore throat and dry mouth. Oh well. I guess I just have to wait and see...

I hope you're cycle gets back to normal soon! I know how frustrating the not knowing is!

oh no im so sorry hun how big are the clots? my longest cycle which was about 45 days i had clots too, but thats because i was so late and they say the blood starts to become old and clots....it wasnt a m/c. So hopefully thats what it is for you too hun
