Thanks so much girls, after today regardless if I get a call back or not I will continue to probably test, but like classicgirl said I don't think I want anymore bloods done unless its imperative. I hate the calling and practically begging someone to tell you your results. If this is meant to be I just have to believe everything is ok. So far bleeding is over, no spotting, and pt's still positive. Idk I guess I'm just frustrated my midwife knows how I am and she seriously hasn't called me at all.

NOT GOOD NEWS: My midwife text me and told me to come in for more bloodwork because my bhcg has dropped a little she didn't give me a number but now I know its not good, this is how my ectopics work. Hcg goes up and down until I'm in agonizing pain. This sucks, I really thought it was ok

How about when your betas were take at 53 ?? Your test are darker now so it must of gone up

I just miscarried last week at 8 weeks
After weeks of bloods and scans
My hcg was very low and slow rising
Started at 61

They told me it was ectopic and would need the shot to dissolve
Then they saw a sac in my womb but my numbers started to fall that same day

Hate how dragged out it was but they had to keep make sure it wasn’t viable

Hope this isn’t something you go through but thought I’d share my experience

Okay - Something about that just doesn’t seem right. There is no way your blood levels have dropped since 53 if your tests are that much darker now than last week when your betas were first drawn (especially with the bleeding ceasing). That just doesn’t make any sense - at all. Perhaps theyve gotten their wires crossed? And what exactly is “dropped” - did they give you a concrete number??!

My former doctors office constantly did sh*t like that and I was about to lose my mind with worry - so I underatand the pure torture of no answers and the waiting. Don’t feel bad calling - If I were you I believe I’d be getting some concrete details about it all. Could it be just a mix up??

Well I went in to see my midwife as im pulling in I see her car was literally pulling away, I go in the office the assistant says she left instructions just to do more bloodwork, and she had to leaveto deliver someone at yhe hospital. So I asked what was the last bhcg? She said I cant log on to the system because we are closing and everythingis shut down at this time. So needless to say they drew my blood and the assistant promised she will call me tomorrow when she gets those results in, and as for me I'm freaking devastated. My hpts are so dark I dont understand.

My last beta draw was on friday, my hpts started to get darker from that day on so I guess this last one they drew will show a higher level because my hpts are very much positive and like I stated before the bleeding has stopped. Idk what's going on, I seriously need a glass of wine right now.

I agree with the PP's, it just doesn't seem right. I have never heard of a HPT getting darker with your amount of bleeding. Maybe a miscarriage of a twin?

So I decided to take a $tree test and I remembered that I did one on the 27th my initial test, 29th Thursday and then tonight. I never test well with these but I just can't rationalize that my bhcg went down. I'm so terrified of another ectopic if it is this will make #3 they are absolutely horrible and I am in so much pain once the levels get high. I'm praying I would rather a m/c anyday over an ep. Anyway here are the comparison tests. The initial test at the bottom, middle one is Thursdays and top is tonight's. Pray for me ladies!

Not to be too dramatic but I’d say if your levels are honestly going down according to their blood draws but your tests continue to get darker and your bleeding continues to be at bay, I’d go to a specialist STAT!!

this made me smile and believe me these past couple of days I've been trying to keep a pleasant calm demeanor for my 2 other little ones cause they still need mommy!but I guess for now it will be tea, no wineuntil everything is finalized and I have solid concrete answers. Ok so here's what I'm thinking. I say you were pregnant with twins and you lost one. I'm sorry I know that's not good either but it's what makes sense. It makes sense because your nunhers had gone down but it seems to have been temporary because your tests got light then dark again. If I compare them well the top is much darker. Of course what we do throughout the day has a lot to do with that but I still think that your numbers went up. I'm sure tomorrow you're gonna get good news. I'm sorry if it's that you lost a twin. That would seriously be a heartache but I truly believe you're very much pregnant and you're gonna go on to have a healthy pregnancy and baby. Oh and a glass of wine wouldn't hurt because organs don't form till 6-7 weeks but I get why you would rather not. I wouldn't either. But just relax. Take a bath. Tomorrow will be here before you know it.
