I've been tempted to have a go at a mei tai sling there's some gorgeous fabrics around. I finished making some bunting I want to post but atm both my laptops are on the blink I can read and post from my phone but not upload pics and it's awkward to just read and post hope everyone is well x

i made a tutu for halloween last year and it took me forever so ya it wasnt so fun for me but doing one for a baby it would be.....what do u put the tule stuff on?

This is a dress, I used a 6inch crocheted headband for the top, now just for a regular tutu I use a 1.5in wide crocheted headband for the waist

I have gone throught this wholle thread and i think it is just great. i am in the middle of knitting a patchwork blacket for my little one and then i will knit one for my other children. and so far im doing okay. it will be the first thing i have ever completed so i am very excited will post a pic when finished

i would of never thought that was just a headband it looks like it was made for that tutu! i love the idea of the smaller one to do just the tutu and they r pretty streatchy so i wouldnat have to worry much about the size....i think i might make a tiny one for my LOs halloween pics shes only going to be a few weeks old

About 3 hours and that is only because i went really slowly. It's been a few years since i used my machine so for a while even a straight stitch was intimidating . i also labored over whether to add the ruffles and where to put it.

but if you follow the tutorial to the tee it shouldn't take more than an hour if you are skilled.

well i went to make a taggy blankie and completly forgot to add the "tags" and used a different thread pattern and it came out not straight at all oooops i guess i will have another try at it sometime

This is a great thread! I love all things crafty (although can't say I'm great!)

My current project is cross stitching a Winnie the Pooh birth announcement. Going to do a patchwork blanket next to throw over the rocking chair.
