Hi everyone, does anyone know if drinking alot of water affects OPK's? is it better to test in the morning or evening? Am using Boots Brand!

I dont know much about opks and all the experiences I have with them were negative...however both brands I tried told me to never use first morning urine and to test between 10am-5pm preferably with less intake of liquid for the previous 2 hours.

ooohhhh and also it should be roughly around the same time everyday to test! LOL, i used to do mine after work every day so was around 4pm each day!

Yeah Jules is spot on Eve, best time to test is apparently around 2pm and you should try not to drink water for a two hour period before hand.

Thanks for the hugs Jules, I had a wee cry earlier cause I was so freaked out by it and hubby isn't home from work till 10.30pm. I phoned the police who took the note away and said they would do what they could and would remain on standby for my address so i've just to phone them if anyone suspicious comes back to door. I just hope they don't do owt to my house while i'm working x

Course Disha fire away! I'm just thinking if you are testing early then most doctors wont do much until you are actually late with a faint bfp otherwise they will just tell you to keep testing hun x

Oh long story Lea Basically I got a threatening letter through my door today. It's obviously for the wrong house as it was telling me to tell me son to pay his debt or next time it wouldn't be a bit of paper going through my door. It really upset me though and has me scared that whoever it was will come back

Omg Wendy!! I bet You are shaken up. It would me.... I would without a second thought take the letter into the the police. They can look into this for you, maybe even finger print test it see if they have them on the system. It is defo a matter for the police don't leave it hun .. These people make me sick the way they act. Awe to you hun..

Thanks Lea, I thought if something does happen to my house the police would say why didn't you tell us straight away so I have told them. They said they would try and finger print it but didn't know if it would work because the note was the size of an envelope and had already had my fingerprints on it, my sisters and the police womans. They went and spoke to my neighbours and said they would check their records for any dodgy folk living at the same house number as me but different street see if that would help them. It's just the part that said "it wont be a piece of paper going through your door next time" that's majorly freaked me out. Don't want my house getting torched down! I can't even tell them its the wrong house cause have no idea who posted it x

Oh no! That isnt good. Is it from a debt collection agency or a loan shark?? I deal a lot with debt collection at work and that sounds quite harsh. Hope you are ok big x x

Its ok hun.. Hopefully they will be known to the police, then they can get there prints off the letter. At the end of the day it is a serious crime threatening behaviour. The police round here surprised me when i needed them, so i hope the force your end are as good as down here in Manchester..

Someone may have seen someone or something that will help them with there investigation. ill have my FX for that too.. awe bless you. you seem so lovely.. If i wanted my money from someone i would go face to face with them not a pen to paper..

My cycles are a little weird..
they are like 35 days every other month and 40-45 days in the alternating month(35-42-36-45-35-44-34-42 to be exact from wen i started keeping tags ) i convinced myself that one of my ovaries is taking a little more time

then in Dec 2010 wen AF is supposed to come on 35 days, it was 7 days late and came on 42 days(CD 42)
so i thought may be some confusion in the system!!!!!

the next month was very busy for me as my husband was transferred to another place.. and i single handedly shifted our house to a new place . went to stay with my parents for some days.. (you know the travelling.. change of food.. temperature.. people..everything changed ) so it was bit stressful...
so in jan, when i joined my husband, AF came on 35 days -jan 16 2011.(against 45 days as per my original cycle)

then this month.. (hope you all can understand my situation is quite confusing..) i started to think "What if my cycle days are reverting around???!!!" maybe this month it ll come on 45 days??!!!"

so here i am on CD44(with 2 faint BFPs in CD42 and CD44) brooding over two possibilities..

1. if my cycles are as usual and the two irregularities are because of some stress or something.. i should have got my periods on 35 days, which i dint get. then am 8 days late for AF.(i just remembered i saw a pink spot, TMI sorry, when wiping, only once, at about CD32).

or

2. if the cycle has indeed reversed and AF is supposed to come on 45 days then am still a day before AF due date..but the usual cramping i get before Af a week before was not there.. and my boobs hurt on sides and not fully as usual.., then there is the spotting pink some 10 days earlies, pulling sensations in lower abdomen and finally the faint positives on HPT

I am really sorry for making you read all this.. but dint know how to make it short!

wow i thought i had a stressful one this cycle. I'm not that good with these things yet. you sound like to have a crazy cycles. One of the ladies will defo be able to help you out better than i can. I would just say, stay hopeful until you get full flow. it does sound hopeful..

the last 12 months my cycles have been 28 days the longest b4 this one 30 this one is 35... i was convinced i may b preg but keeping it to myself...
i can never really tell with my symptoms because they tend to change each month apart from the Af cramps and bloating, they are there every month without fail..

I have just had Af show but not Full flow yet as i have just read, So cd1 will come for me what full flow hits. Soz i cnt help ya hun

hey no worries disha... i'm keeping everything crossed for you.

i never wanted to see the BFN i was too scared to.. Now I'm glad i didn't cos i would be feeling worse than i do now..

I'm Heading for CD1 Now just to start all over agn. Maybe it will be different this time cos i have all you ladies supporting me ... plus helping me understnad my cycles, OPK testing too & Fertility specialist in put.. ill try and b +.

Can I please also join? Came off the pill in November 2010. Hubby and I are trying for baby number two. Only just started tracking my cycle the past 2 months and only realised I have a 33 - 34 day cycle since coming off the pill. is due to visit tomorrow or the next day but am really hopinh it doesn't as was very good keeping track this month.
