We have Evie now. My OH and I went to the sherrifs office. PB showed up with Evie, and handed her over to Terry.

Thanks for the Tally...this has just gotten so ridiculous. She's just pissed cuz she found out we're getting married. Up until now, both me and her boyfriend have dropped off/picked up Evie. Now she's just mad cuz the judge won't let her take Evie out of state, and cuz we're getting married. I've been with Terry for almost 2 years now....eventually something's gotta give...

It has been my experience that everything that's shown OH has moved on some, has really pissed the ex off. The bitterness must be all-consuming, I actually feel sorry for her but that doesn't change the fact that it affects a lot of people - not least the children she is supposed to love so much. We have been together for 2.5 years now and she doesn't get any less crappy. The best we can hope for is a lull in the storm!

I'm usually pretty good dealing with her. When she spreads around town that my OH might not be my LO's daddy, I just ask where I was when I was getting all the sex.

When she calls me a whore, I just shrug it off.

When she calls me a homewrecker, I say she needs to know the meaning of words before she uses them.

When she starts playing games with Evie though....I get pissed. It's not fair to Evie.

And Evie's good. She's being a bit of a pain in my ass today, but the first full day is always the worst cuz she's adjusting to our rules versus her moms house with no rules. I've learned to expect it and take it in stride.

Tomorrow's my and my OH's friend Kelly's wedding, so that'll be a fun day. And then Wednesday is our wedding.

Hoping the rest of this week goes smoothly.

Iv been around 3yrs and shes not used to me yet She doesnt understand that when OH was working allt he hours he had to before he changed jobs I did everything but I never got a thank you
OH picked up SS yesterday then his mum sent SS a message to come home cos she bored so SS played up like mad cos he wanted to go home We went for a nice day out to another town and he played up the whole way because he wanted to go home because hi smum said he can play his xbox all day and night if he did. Which to me sounds like her trying to temp him back.
Leo is a very refluxy. Hes having a little watered down with formula puree and its keeping his feeds down which is good. SS does what Evies does, cowboys angel, because his mum lets him get away with everything but here he cant as OH is alot stricter

It's unfortunate but it seems like this attitude after being with the "other" parent is common, and sorry but I'm happy to hear it's not just us! It seems to be the longer my SD is with her mother the longer it takes her to snap out of the selfish snotty attitude and start acting like the nice young lady she is and start helping around the house and stop with the snide sarcastic comments. I have to say those first couple days when she is first back are hard because I'm biting my tongue, but eventually she's back to normal. It took about two weeks like last time!! All of a sudden, she was pleasant, helpful, and a joy to be around. Just one of those things I guess, the poor kids have to adapt to their environment and sadly mimick the people they are around so... we just have to do our best to set a good example I suppose.

Yea it must take some getting used to each time for them, having no rules in one house and having proper discipline in yours. All I can suggest is keep on doing what you're doing, and hope it gets easier with time and as the skids get to realise that's just the way it's going to be and you're not going to become lax and let them do what they want!

Cowboys angels I am so sorry that you had to go through that nightmare of getting the police involved when you went to collect your stepdaughter. And your getting married too!! Its a happy time on here which is great! We want pics and all the stories from you too!! Good luck hun.

Well ladies my update...I have been dropping in and out of here of late as you know. We went and had our first early scan last friday and had the shock of our lives.....we are having triplets!!!!!! It hasn't sunk in yet and think it will take quite some time! I have had some light bleeding over the weekend so am booked into the epu tomorrow for a check scan. The blood is dark red so not fresh which I am trying to stay positive about. Hopefully they will all be ok tomorrow and I can relax a bit (as much as I can with the emotional rollercoaster of knowing that we are having triplets!!!)

Thanks hun! It is incredibly insane!!!! When we were having the scan hubby and I saw 2 sacs straight away and looked at each other and laughed. Then the sonographer said 'well there are 2 and if I just move over here there is a 3rd'!! I just burst into fits of laughter and she said 'don't worry its just the hysteria kicking in'!!

We just keep thinking of the cost involved. Went into mamas and papas and mothercare yest to ask about triplet prams and they said it was too 'specialist' for them!! A staff member said someone had gone in a few months ago with triplets and they had had to import the pram from australia!!!!

Its all down to nature! The sonographer said its only the 2nd time she has ever seen natural triplets and so offered us free 4d images later if we allow her to use the images on her website after they have been born. So that a bonus and prob the only saving we will have!!!

Still don't know what I am thinking about it all really!! We go from extreme excitement to extreme fear and then back again!! Its just so crazy! We had talked about twins as they are in my family but triplets had not even crossed our minds!

Pinkflamingo!!!!!! Crazy!!!!! I bet you can't even begin to imagine having 3 newborns at once!!

I'm a twin so i considered twins when I was pregnant but triplets! It's amazing! Naturally too! SOOOOOOOO exciting!!!!

How are you feeling now? Has it sunk in anymore?

Lownthwaite it is completely crazy!! We had another scan today as I had had some light bleeding over the weekend. Everything looked fine and we saw all 3 heartbeats and measurements were spot on for my dates. Am so relieved now.

It hasn't really sunk in yet!! We still can't believe it and I think it will take a few weeks!! Dh is chomping at the bit to tell people and had to tell a shop lady over the weekend when we visited a different town, just so that he could tell someone!! Tomorrow I should find out when we will have an appt with the consultant, so at least it will be good to speak to someone and get some more info on the steps we can expect to take. The sonographer mentioned reducing numbers today and said that it will be discussed by the consultant. Just seems mad that you try so hard to get pregnant and then you have to discuss reducing your babies. Guess its all about reducing the risks but will just have to wait and see what info they give us.
