Stopped BCP & TTC! Whos with me?!

I've been doing some of the stretches my doctor recommended and that seems to be helping some. I was at least able to get around my classroom a little more yesterday. And I've schedule myself a massage for this weekend so that will help loosen some of the muscles too. :)

Flueky - I don't know if it's spd for sure. Doctor didn't say, just said it was normal and gave some recommendations. I'm assuming it might be.
So glad your US was good!! :happydance: Looks like this is your sticky bean!! <3 I'm so excited for you!!

That's funny that your LO is due just a few days after your insurance deductible resets, because that's just what I was telling DH today about us. I'm due Jan 12, and our deductible resets Jan 1, which kind of sucks. I'm actually hoping she's about 13-14 days early so I can get her in before the end of 2016 and not have to deal with the reset deductible (and can get the tax break) DH thinks I'm crazy. :haha:

Elle - Glad AF finally arrived. :hugs: I hope you pop in on occassion and at least keep us updated as to how you are doing!

Gagrlinpitt so have you got appt booked now? It'll be okay if not just sucks cause our insurance is high deductible plan. They are predicting our dr visits not counting ultrasounds will cost a little over $3000. So yeah it's be nice to have to pay another $3000 so soon but as long as baby is healthy is what matters most.

Angel how ironic. Shall we switch when our deductibles reset? So glad the stretches are helping and I'm sure massage will make it even better.

Fleuk that's so true. And yes my appointment is December 7 at 7:30am.. So just a bit over two weeks away and next week will go quick since we are flying to tampa to visit my parents.

Angel and flukey- hey my LO came 3 weeks early so you never know!!

Angel- what do your pains feel like? I think I was around 35 weeks and I woke up and felt like someone had taken a bat to my pelvis, especially when I walked or moved my legs certain ways. I thought it was SPD but I don't fully know because he was born 2 weeks later so I suppose it could have been him dropping and getting ready! Either way I hope the pain isn't horrible for you!

Gagrlinpitt awesome. Oh and yes it's so cool we are due the same month :)

AJANGEL, that's true, I just know my luck:dohh:

Oh if anyone wanted to see, here is lil jedi

Flueky - haha yeah we should just switch our deductible reset dates! :haha:
I'm so glad ours isn't a high deductible plan. As much as we've paid out this year i couldn't imagine what we would have paid if we were high deductible!

As for the US: :D :happydance: So awesome!!!!

Gagrl - Yay! So soon!!

Ajangel - bat to pelvis sounds almost exactly it. At first it just felt like I had a giant bruise and was sensitive, but now I'm noticing it feels a little more like bone rubbing on bone when I'm walking and because of that I'm sore and feel bruised.

Hi ladies how is everyone??

Flukey and gag- just a few more weeks until the second tri! How are you feeling?

Angel- another week until full term!! Wow I'm so excited for you! Is your pain any better? I want to see a bump pic!

Elle- I hope you are doing well!

AFM my baby turned 4 months on Friday. What the heck?! Time is flying. He has gotten so big, he's just about 17lbs- a real butterball hehe. Hes starting to laugh a little bit but is super smiley. I think he also just discovered his voice because he's starting to yell (when he's happy) he thinks it's the coolest thing ever lol

Ajangel I know it seems to be flying by. I'm so tired today, I don't think the weather is helping though. I have nausea on and off. Also your son sounds so cute. Glad he's not having trouble with his weight :)

Angel your LO will be here next month!!

3 more weeks until we tell our parents. I cannot wait!! It's been so hard to keep this secret. My next appt and ultrasound is on the 15th which I'll be 11 weeks.

Aj- 4 months?!?!? Wow I can't believe that..

Angel- next month. Holy cow It's so soon.

Fluek- I know the feeling about not it being hard to wait.. Your scan is so soon!!

Afm, today's been a rough day. I've been constipated all week off and on so yesterday I took some colace. I ended up vomiting from brushing my teeth about an hour later but today it hit me with a vengeance. I've been on the bathroom off and on all day. Nausea hit me hard at 7 weeks. I've been queezy all day.. But I'll take it. Have my scan this Wednesday at 8 weeks at 7:30am.. Hopefully we see peanut happy and healthy and with a good heartbeat. Then we can focus on telling family in the next few weeks.

I had my baby shower today. I feel so spoiled. My sister designed everything around a Star Wars theme which meant she was doing most of the put together of decorations herself, and it was a lot of work I'm sure, but it was amazing. My aunt found a local bakery that does AMAZING cakes that are gluten and dairy free (I'm only GF, but she and my mom are also dairy free) and seriously, it tasted better than a normal store bought cake. Most of my guests commented that it tasted better than most cakes. They decorated it with a picture of princess leia and wrote "it's a Jedi Princess!" on it. <3

I came away with so much stuff! I still have a lot of bigger stuff and necessities to buy but my sister's neighbor who we've started to become friends with gave us her old stroller, pack'n'play and a diaper genie! :happydance:

Oh, and Genius Idea here: My sister set up a diaper raffle. For every bag or box of diapers that someone brought they got an entry into the raffle. Then I had bought a gift pack as a reward (we were going to do a gift card but couldn't decide for where - so we did a nice gift basket). All in all I spent about $30 on the gift pack and I came home with 7 bags of diapers & a large costco size box of diapers (varying sizes of 1s and 2s). Plus my BIL made me an R2D2 diaper cake (yay star wars) using over 100 newborn diapers anda couple packs of wipes! One of the best ideas I'd ever seen!

I'm still gushing a little. <3 :)

Ajangel - I can't believe term is only a week away! The pain is off and on. Yesterday it was so bad that even laying or sitting down was excruciating. I was in tears for a good part of the evening. but today is a little better. I'll try to remember to take a bump pic in the morning and share. I'm HUGE! :haha:

I can't believe that your baby is 4 months!! That's so insane! It feels like just a couple days ago!

Flueky - Sorry to hear about your nausea! Hopefully it isn't too horrible. I can't believe my LO will be here in a month..... but only 3 weeks until you get to tell your family! That's awesome! I can't wait until your next scan. The 15th is my sister's birthday. Maybe that'll be good luck! <3

Gagrl - I know, so soon! I can't believe it! It just hit me today that I could theoretically have my baby this month and that thought is a mixture of terrifying and exciting! I'm so sorry about your nausea and vomiting! :( Plus the constipation! :nope: You can't catch a break. Good luck at your scan!! Make sure to update us! <3

Here are my 35w bump pics.

Angel what a beautiful bump :) the shower sounds wonderful. Also as a fellow star wars nerd I'd love to see some pics if you don't mind :)

My nausea really isn't too bad. I think fatigue has been worst symptom. Lack of motivation to work too hehe.

Gagrlinpitt your scan is today right? Good luck, I'm sure it'll be fine though :) I know it's hard not to worry especially right before scan

AFM, looking forward to telling the family. I can't believe my next appt is next Thursday. I think it'll drag by a bit. I thought about buying a doppler but I really don't need to spend the extra money. It'll be fine though. Well have a good rest of the week ladies :)

Angel- you look great!! Sooo cute. It looks like you might have dropped some?? Oh you know what you should do is make a baby registry on Amazon.com. You don't have to share it with anyone but it will give you 15% off items on your registry! Same with target. Then you can use it for the bigger items! I made an Amazon one and never shared it with anyone, but when the stroller I wanted went on sale I used the registry discount.

Flukey- I'm glad your nausea isn't too bad! I know how the fatigue is- I used to go to bed by 6:30/7 pm! How are you going to tell your family?

Ajangel, yeah on weekends I sleep like 11 hours  I got sick this morning from brushing teeth, ugh. I guess I'll try brushing at night only to see if that helps. I know it's gross but vomit breath is worse, IMO.

Gag, how'd it go yesterday?

Sorry I hadn't updated. Everything looks great. Baby measuring 7w4d with a HR of 130bpm... Now just trying to keep stress low, eat healthy, and go get my blood work done.

Congrats! Also eating healthy is going well for me right now. Just focusing on eating what I can. Hoping that'll change 2nd tri.

Here is lil jedi looking more like a baby with heart rate 167. :cloud9:

Also I saw a 3d pic and he/she was covering their eyes with their hands it was so cute

It's been awhile! I keep getting distracted and don't end up posting in here!

I do think I have dropped some. I don't have nearly the problems breathing that I did before.

Next week doctor is going to do another US to make sure she's head down and double check placenta is still ok. I can't beleive how close i'm getting! I only have to get through one more day this week and then I have 2 beautiful weeks of break! :happydance:

Ajangel - I did do our registry on Amazon (and Target) and was able to do the 15% off for some of the stuff that was left. I was really excited because the $200 carseat that I wanted (I wanted to make sure I got a rear facing, no-rethread harness, but I didn't want a convertible one yet because they're SO HEAVY and I can't carry it), was on sale for $130 on amazon and then I got the extra 15% off on top of it. :happydance: I just spent about $500 on amazon registry stuff, all the "final stuff" we needed but I managed to save an extra $200 that way.

Flueky - How's the brushing of teeth going? My dentist said that if I reached that point then to try to use mouth wash at least a couple times a day and brush later if that helps. Your US is so cute! I can't believe LO is already looking so much like a baby! It's amazing how quick that happens.

I've attached some pics from my Jedi Shower. :) I loved the cake, and the R2D2 diaper cake.

Angel I love it, thanks for sharing! Also woohoo on one more day til break :) I hope you enjoy it.

Teeth brushing is better, I switched toothpaste and that's helped. I know from peanut to baby in 4 weeks!
