Stopped BCP & TTC! Whos with me?!

welp, I put on a pantyliner and wake up and nada. I check again and not spotting when I wipe or check my cervix. so I dont think AF is coming maybe just some random spotting.

Im going crazy, took a test this am and BFN. I am officially a week late, I am trying to decide how long I should wait before going in for a blood test. Ive never been this late before.

Could it be IB? I'd give it another few days before calling for a blood test. A week late is pretty significant though my sisters doctor said a BFP can take as much as 2 weeks "late" to show up.

I was just talking to my cousin when I told her I was pregnant and she was telling me that she actually never got a positive pregnancy test ever (now I'm assuming she stopped test once dr confirmed) and they had to do her test via blood because her hcg was very slow rising or something. (baby turned out fine). Of course that was 12 years ago when she had her kid so maybe tests just weren't as sensitive then

Yea I hear some women never get a BFP on a HPT its kinda crazy.

I have a physical next week so if. nothing by than I will have them do a blood test.

I only had a spot of VERY light brown/pink spotting yesterday than nothing since. I am having some cramping on the left side of my tummy so maybe Implantation? doesnt feel like AF cramps. It seems kinda late for implantation but who know.

How certain are you of when you ovulated? Could you have ovulated later than you think...? So strange!

nope.. the one month I didnt get a positive opk this happens, I ran out and was to lazy to buy more. lol I could be off since I based it on ewcm. I usually O right around CD14-16, and I usually have 27-29 day cycles though. I am now on CD35.

I am trying not to get my hopes up but I just FEEL different. I have tons of watery cm which is not normal for me. Idk it's just playing the waiting game at this point.

How certain are you of when you ovulated? Could you have ovulated later than you think...? So strange!

Hmm, maybe you ovulated later this month (wasn't this first month off of a temporary BC?) and what you're experiencing now is implantation? Fingers crossed for you!

Faye- Definitely, same thing I told DH. Its crazy how being on progesterone for 5 days can do to your cycle. I actually did some research and spoke with a nurse who advised that it can delay O by 5 days so maybe I am off in my estimation if that is true I am actually only 13DPO which would make IB more sense for yesterday. How are you doing??

Angel- You and me both, it really sucks not knowing what is going on inside my body. If it isnt meant to be I am ok with that but I just want to move forward either way.

Elle, I didn't realize you'd been on progesterone. Hopefully O was just delayed and you're still in this thing. Keep us posted!

I finally went to the doctor today! Hooray. First time seeing this doctor so I was extra nervous. Thankfully everything went well!

They had calculated me as further along based on my LMP, but I knew I wasn't based on O. So the OB had a difficult time finding the baby at first... there were a few tense moments. But she finally found it and we heard the heartbeat. I guess my uterus was also in a funny spot, but she said that's nothing to be concerned about since it's so small at this point. Then she had an ultrasound specialist use a more advanced machine and we got a better picture and she was able to get measurements. According to the measurements I am 7 weeks + 2 days, which is pretty much what I'd calculated on my own! It was such a relief to have everything confirmed and to get some of my neurotic questions answered.

I was so nervous about switching to a new doctor even though she was recommended by someone I trust, but now feel so much better. The doctor herself was very knowledgeable and warm, the nurse practitioner who I met with first was lovely, and the office itself was super nice. The appointment ran on time and everyone was super friendly. PHEW!

Now it's just more waiting until chromosomal testing at 10 weeks and then the results/next ultrasound at 12 weeks. The doctor did say that if I'm feeling super anxious before then I can come in for another quick ultrasound, so that was comforting. We have a big trip planned right before my 12 weeks appointment, so hopefully I won't be too stressed/anxious.

Hope everyone else is doing well. Angel, congrats on graduating! What is your degree in-- I know you're a teacher but what was the focus?

Hey ladies.. I've been a bit preoccupied lately but wanted to stop in and say hey. I saw my GP today and talked to get about my weight. I truly hope that's not anything that will keep me from getting pregnant, but I'm going to work on getting healthy and if we end up with a bfp, awesome.

She is going to test my iron, vitamin B, and vitamin D so I had a bit of blood work done. I'm also going to get in touch with a doctor she recommended who does research studies for Pitt university and worldwide obesity and see if they can point me in the right direction as well.

We are still cleaning out my fil house.. Its been rough to say the least and I'm not looking forward to father's day but I know that it will get easier.

Faye I'm so excited about your appointment and that you heard your little ones heartbeat.

Elle I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Just popping in for a quick post to Elle --- I had spotting on Tuesday and Thursday and got my BFP on Saturday. So your spotting could be IB. I don't remember the dpo but think it was like 9 and 11dpo - but I had a 25 day cycle which is shorter than yours

Faye - yay that's awesome!! My degree is a MS in Mathematics Education. My BA is in Mathematics (not Ed) so I decided to do something related to my actual career. Lol.

AFM - 10w scan. Baby kept reaching for umbilical cord, dr said baby was trying to play m with it. And baby had hiccups. So adorable!! I'm In love

Gagrl- Thanks! I am a plus sized woman as well and met with my Dr prior to ttc. While they said it would make things easier for me to lose weight, the didn't find any issues that would keep me from conceiving. Besides my weight I am perfectly healthy. Lots of Plus size women go on to have healthy impregnates. As long as you stay healthy, eat well and try to get some exercise you should be all good. Hoping all the best for you.

AFM- Still no AF and another BFN. I feel like I have wasted so much money on hpt I am not even sure if I want to buy anymore. I feel ok today, some slight cramping in my hip area and an earache and pretty tired. Sleeping cycles have been all over the place. I keep reminding myself that I have a dr appointment next week so hopefully that should provide some definitive answers about whats going on. I was out today in the mall and running errands and I swore everywhere I looked their was pregnant women, DH says its a sign but who knows. Will keep you ladies posted.

I'm doing better just trying to not get on so much. I had a weird 24 day cycle with AF starting Monday this week so I'll be temping again to confirm O. TGIF!

Morning ladies. just finished the last week of school and I'm exhausted. The last week is always so long. Today marks day 1 of summer break. I'm going to be doing some private tutoring over the summer to make a little extra money, but otherwise thsi is my first summer since High SChool that i've really had off. In college I always took summer courses, once I started teachingI always taught summer school, and then I started my Masters and I always had classes then too. So this summer I'm taking advantage of my freedom. Sleeping, eating, netflix, video games, and the gym. That's my summer.

Elle - sorry that you are stuck in this "limbo" place. Hope your dr appointment next week can help clear stuff up.

Flueky - the one thing I loved about temping was the ability to confirm O and then know exactly when to expect AF after that.

Afm, just trucking a long! I think I've been hit with 3rd trimester tiredness so today I spent the day relaxing which was awesome. I go Wednesday for the follow up on baby's kidneys so I'll let you know how it goes!

Ok ladies, I went to the bathroom to take a HPT dipped it and than waited. went to wipe and saw brown spotting so I was ready to throw it away. As I picked it up I saw the second line pop up very very faint but there, my mouth dropped. I took some photos to make sure I wasnt going crazy. even though it looks much more pink in person.

And the spotting has stopped.

Please tell me I am not crazy?!? photos below.

Gagrl Thank you! I am super nervous because it seems to have gotten lighter since it dried, still there but lighter. I did this on only a 2 hr hold so I am going to take a nap and wake up and try again. I havent even told DH (hes at work) and I dont want to tell him until I am sure. I have one wondfo left and a CB digital going to use those when I wake up. I am freaking out! Excited but not wanting to get my hopes up to much in case it is a CP.


How is everyone else doing???
