Stopping BCP to TTC***Updates & Progress/Noted Changes Since Stopping BCP***24BFPs***

I've got a ferning microscope, they're super cheapy and you have to shine the tint LED light into your eye to look at the pattern but it's very obvious when it's full ferning :) i may have to rely on mine if my OPK's don't come through in time! They aren't as precise as OPK's so you'd have a couple of days window where you may ov I believe.

Ok so it's crunch time for me, I'm so nervous :( getting my blood results back and doing the HSG, I'm more scared of them not finding anything cuz they're so difficult to work with that if there's nothing wrong she's going to just stare at me with the "i can't help you" look, I'd rather they find something they can fix, I don't even know how to get her to take me seriously! :( cross your fingers for me that she does something useful today!

Mrshudson....congrats on the house!

Turtle....charlie.....hang in there you two!

Cdex.....change is good! I moved away from my family....hated it...but now when we see eachother its more quality time!

AFM.....silly dotted crosshairs today. Hope it changes. If its right....i o'd earlier than last month. Blah

So the HSG found a 5mm polyp, whatever that is, on my uterine wall, specialist doesn't think it has anything to do with my ttc troubles but we're operating on it next month, I'm confused and scared :(

Patience...no worries dear. I had the same thing in Feb. I have all the medical terms at home. They did a d&c aND hysteroscopy. Easy as pie. I too was so scared. Be strong.

So sorry Charlie! Thinking of you and yours in this tough time :hugs:

MrsH-congrats on the house, how exciting, one less thing to worry about now :)

patience-are they just removing the polyp? I don't know much more than what I've read on here, but typically, the only ones that are issues for ttc are very very large and yours seems to be fairly small yet, but never hurts to remove it before it's an issue. Any other news from them on if there may or may not be any noted concerns?

Thanks ladies <3

She didn't say much, just that we'll book it in after my next period (mission: delay this month's af as long as possible because the only time she had was 24th Nov which should be right after I ovulate!) they'll remove it then have a look around, I won't now anything else till the surgery is done, no "next step" yet :(

My expensive blood test came back normal! I know she's stalling for time but she can't be budged on going through all the procedures before she can help with anything..

UGh, well, fx'd for delay af then I guess! I want you to get in asap!

Patience...I'll check my paperwork at home. I had a 5cm x something. ...under my lining. ...I wastill a wreck. I went cause AF was so heavy. I'm talking changing every hour or make a mess. ..so to hear I had that. ...I'm 36....I need my parts!!

they went in....I woke up...went well. ...here I am! Now I was on bcp and not trying. ...but I was told could help fertility.

It's going to be OK!

I'm sure it's ok but damn the timing of it all, you bleed for a while after right? Will surely screw up ttc that month, gonna call and get advice on how to proceed with it.

I actually never skipped a beat. Maybe bcp helped. ...but was on schedule. After surgery. .bled for a day. ..slight cramping. But honestly, nothing like I thought. I felt like it was the end of the world.

Maybe that's why I'm so into my charts. ..cause of that scare? Stupid dotted cross hairs

Thanks ladies! We're so excited :wohoo:

Good luck Cdex. Change is always good.

Patience, I think you should be fine. I've heard of many of women getting them.

TMI - Sorry but I have to ask... did DTD feel different for any of you after stopping the BCP? I feel really tight and.... it itches.... It was very uncomfortable last night and DH said I was really wet so I don't know what the issue was. I started it, so I was in the mood.

Hey ladies. I only posted here a few times after coming of the implant last December. Its just with a quick update. After months and months of weird 21 day cycles and a very very light af I finally had a 26 day cycle with a normal af and the then boom got pregnant :D and its TWINS!! Lol I thought it was never gonna happen and I guess U just wasn't oving and then boom double ov lol it will happen ladies :D good luck xxxx

Mrshudson.....felt better, imo. Maybe mental for me? I swear. ..I can feel the hormones. ..I get all worked up. ...line a 15 year old boy. And wetter....again, mental or coming off bcp....not sure.

Congrats on the twins wantabean2!!! Such exciting news, hope your pregnancy is treating you well so far :)

Wantabean2, that's great news!!! Congrats!!! Wow, I bet that was a shock finding out it was twins...how fun! Thanks for updating us, I love hearing happy stories like that! :D

Hi Bluefairy, and welcome! When I joined this thread back in beginning of August I think, I read all of it too in order to get caught up! It's quite a read, but I really felt like I knew everyone already by the time I did my first post! :haha: Good luck to you, I really hope you catch that eggie! :)

Patience, I'm sorry that they found that and are having to do surgery! I have everything crossed for you that it will all go smoothly, and will just allow you to conceive that much quicker after the procedure! :hugs:

Cdex, good luck to you and your hubby! I understand the fear of moving away...my hubby really wants to move to Colorado and while I would love to go as well, I'm terrified of leaving my friends and family and I'm just not ready yet. He would pick up and move tomorrow if I said ok. I've promised him we will one day, just not yet. But I do understand how it could actually be a good thing...I'm just not good with change and it scares me. I think if you have a reason that you essentially HAVE to go (such as his job), maybe it would help make that it a little easier? Either way, I am hopeful for you guys!!! :)

Turtle if you move to CO, you'll have a friend :). I've had so many friends move here in the past year it's ridiculous but I can't blame them.

Aww, thanks! :) I really do love Colorado so very much, it's a wonderful state for so many reasons. I live in Kansas City so it's only about a 10 hour drive from me now, but man that's a LONG, BORING drive. But at least I wouldn't be *too* far from my friends and family. What part of Colorado do you live in, if you don't mind me asking? Fort Collins is our absolute favorite, we're in love with it there. :)

Oh yeah that's a boring drive lol. No offense, but my parents took us there once for a vacation. Not that exciting haha.

Ms Elizabeth I was like that before AF but not after AF. I mean I was in the mood and all and DH did some foreplay but it just felt not so great. Maybe it was in MY head.

Mrshudson....enjoy it. Don't pressure yourself into knowing. ..OK I have three days. ..must catch some army men. ..enjoy being together. Then after. ..prop goals up to keep the army in! I think for me. ..knowingly being off bcp...it's such a thrill. ..that helps. I haven't been trying long enough to feel anything else. I'm still in the honeymoon phase of ttc. Lol
