Stopping BCP to TTC***Updates & Progress/Noted Changes Since Stopping BCP***24BFPs***

Charlie, my hsg could be any time as long as it was before ov purely to not affect the egg and potential baby bits :) hopefully you can reshuffle the date by a day or 2 and still be ok :) i think in this case I'm glad af hurried up and came so you can get down to business again!

Charmed feeling ill really stinks :( that part of the 2ww is when you can fantasise about being pregnant and noone can say you either are or aren't, it's great :D I've tried not thinking I'd get a bfp vs being adamant I would, the 2ww feels much better with the "noone can take the hope away from me" as long as there's a pinch of realism in there too :haha: daydream away!

I'm holding off with the gel for another night, if my temp is the same or preferably slightly higher and cm is thicker tomorrow I'll get straight on the gel, I daren't think what to do it my temp is indecisive again :(

Meh same temp today! My cm was still creamy but my cp was low and firm so if I haven't O'ed by now i don't want to (I think I have but can't be certain) and just want af to hurry up! Taking my first dose this morning!

Charmed I hope this is it for you! I'll be watching for updates.
I am doing alright. MS is full blown this month even with the medication I am taking. I just want to feel normal again! According to my dr. it should taper off as I head into second tri. Only 4 more weeks....

Patience that sounds really frustrating.

Charlie, for your sake, I hope it is DH's little swimmers. That is so much easier to deal with and less invasive.

Hi, ladies! How's everyone doing today?

Charlie, so glad your hubby was able to do the SA already! Yay! did they say how long before you get those results back?

Patience, sorry for the slow rise! Those are frustrating for sure. And even more frustrating that it was exactly the same this morning! :dohh: Good luck with starting the meds though!!!

Charmed, how are you feeling today? Any updates? :)

MrsH, so sorry about the MS still hanging around! I hope upping the meds to the full dose helps! :)

Afm, I had my "haven't conceived after 6 months of trying" dr's appointment this morning. She said we're really doing everything "right", that our timing sounds good and everything. She suggested we go ahead and do the HSG for me and SA for hubby. She's also going to do an US since I have fibroids to make sure they're not getting any bigger/causing any problems, and wants me to do cd3 blood work. I have no idea what that's for, but I guess that's why I'm not the dr! She said it's all at our own pace, of course. I want to wait until I know for sure on this cycle before I do anything. Then once AF arrives, I'll go ahead and do the cd3 blood work and have DH do the SA, and I'll probably the US as well. I think I might wait a month of the HSG though...I have a procedure scheduled for 2/9 where I'll have to be put under and that will be after O but before I could get a pos on an HPT. She suggested I either reschedule the appointment or not try that cycle. I really don't want to reschedule it again, and I would rather wait until after that to do the HSG. If we're not going to try that cycle, I don't want to miss the opportunity to have the HSG help us get pregnant like it does for a lot of people. So, that's where I am! FX that I just am already pregnant this cycle and don't have to worry about any of that, but I seriously doubt that's the case. I guess we'll see!

Turtle I'm glad you finally got in! I really hope the HSG works for you but it would be even better you got your BFP before you had to go that route.

Oh they only made you wait 6months ? That's awesome ! I think they'll go down the route of removing the fibroids if it's not too much trouble, I mean I got put under to remove a couple of things that weren't even ½ a cm each ! Then again different countries and all, most would go "it's probably not causing a problem let's wait and see" i've heard good things about the HSG as well so yes, timing that for a good month sounds like a plan :)

I actually found a month off TTC rather relaxing but I was seriously wound up and upset by the whole thing, maybe taking a month off during the procedure might be nice and refreshing, it was nice for me at least to know there wasn't any chance of a BFP for once :)

I had a gut wrenching anxiety wave this evening, what if i've not o'ed and now i've screwed it up with the progesterone ! But I did get a definitive +opk and waited an extra day to start, even though my temps were no help whatsoever :( *chews nails* this gonna be a long 2ww, will be nice if I make it past 11dpo for a change, regardless of outcome :)

Charmed I see today is test day according to ff, have your temps been taken earlier or later than usual? It makes a huge difference!

Thanks, ladies! I appreciate the kind words. :) Patience, I've actually had the fibroids for about 2 years now (well possibly even longer but that's when they found them while doing a scan for my overactive bladder) and they haven't caused me any problems or anything. But since getting off the pill I've had a lot of twinges and sometimes even pressure/cramping at weird times so I brought them back up to her, just in case. I've read that sometimes coming off the pill can make them grow so that's why I was thought to bring it up... :)

I do agree that taking a month off might be very relaxing if I end up needing to go that route. I think that's what we're going to do, if I end up not getting a bfp this cycle. I guess time will tell! ;)

So Patience, your temp was the same AGAIN today? How weird! I'm sorry that you're feeling unsure about starting the meds now. Are you feeling any better about it today? :hugs:

Lavender, how are you doing?? :)

Yes that's definitely true, all your regular hormones can make them grow! If removing them is on the cards, could you do it next month since you're having another procedure? They may offer it up as a possible solution, at least going off my own rubbish experience, they refused to do anything till I had the surgery - which they paid for! So goodness only knows why.

I don't know what to think  I was so very upset with my temp this morning, and I found a bit of watery cm outside my body but I can't check anything internal cuz this cream basically turns into wet tissue inside me :haha: and dries everything up!

I can't believe I'd have a +opk and not ov, but my temp should have risen with the progesterone in my system for 24 hours, I can't exactly stop and see if I am waiting to ov still cuz that'd make it worse! I just feel very sad today :( this whole cycle has been a mess

Patience, that's not a bad idea to do it the same month that we're taking the break, if they do end up needing to be removed! AF should arrive sometime next week so I would need to hurry up and get the US done first though and then squeeze that in if that was the case...and I've been having a huge battle with insurance right now so I'd have to be sure that was all straightened out of course. But it's something worth thinking about and looking into for sure! Thanks!

Ugh, your cycle really is confusing this go around. :( I'm so sorry that you're feeling so down and that it's leaving everything so up in the air for you! I really hope you get some more concrete answers soon! :hugs:

hi ladies. been following along. best luck for those with opk+. keep those dr's working FOR you! that's their job! BD ladies!!

turtle/patience...when i went to the dr's back in feb...and they said i had either fibroids/cysts....i was shocked...but having talked to my dr more about it, i found it encouraging, although they added the disclaimer of this is not 100% guarantee...after they are removed and a d&c is performed...some women find themselves more fertile. i swear, it's like they took away the 36 year old skin and left me with the girly parts of a 20 year old. whether it worked or not....just hearing that brought me a slight sense of "ok, i can get thru this." i know there are so many different types/conbinations etc....but let me pass along that glimmer of hope that helped me on those days i was just so mad at my girly parts for growing bumps and bulges.

wishing you all the best and i'm rooting for you all!

I've heard that too, since they take away blood supply that would be going to your reproductive bits! So I'd there are a few I can imagine clearing them out would help :)

I freaked out this morning cuz i had some wet cm after using my progesterone the night before, apparently your body does that as a way to flush the crap left inside you, my vag is full of paper mache basically cuz it's not absorbed and doesn't come out :haha:

Alright ladies!

Patience, I have everything crossed for you. :)

Turtle, AWESOME news!!!! I'm so glad your DR is being proactive!!!

Charmed how are you doing?

AFM: I will have my HSG on Monday January 19th (CD8). I started my Fermara today. DH got his SA results this afternoon, but the dr couldn't tell me what they were, had to talk to him first, and HE HASN'T FREAKING TOLD ME YET!!!! So when he gets home I'll be harassing him. I'm praying there is nothing wrong with him and we can just focus on getting me fixed instead of having to fix both of us. lol.

I'll update as soon as I get the results out of that DH of mine....

Hubby got home and he's a above average and in all categories extremely fertile!! Thank God!! Now to fix me!

That's is great his SA is so good! :)

Woohoo not long till hsg time :) that'll be great for seeing if there's anything that needs to be fixed, I've heard if your tubes are blocked that it hurts like a mother but they can unblock them right away, hopefully the rinse out will help this month regardless :)

Updating really quickly as I'm in a rush. I'm ok.. temp is still relatively high, above cover line at least. Bfn though :( I think I must have o'd later than FF thinks. I'm starting to wonder if I even I'd around CD24 like normal cos of that dip, or did my cold push it back about a week? Hmm. I guess only time will tell! Bit frustrating though cos I don't know what's going on. Trying to stay hopeful for this month but I don't know xx

*big hugs* I think at most you O'ed on cd24 and that your poorly temps just confused ff. Can you use a temp adjuster to be able to see a better pattern? Unfortunately if the temps are open circle they busby be trusted at all :( x

I need to change the Times on most of them, the temps are good, I've just entered them at funny times of the day :haha: with the exception of yesterday because I was on an early xx

Oh right so the temps are right you've just added them in later :) i see! I'm very frustrated for you, I want to know what's going on!
