Kimmy my first period off of bcp was short and light bc my lining hadn't built up enough yet. They got more and more normal each cycle until they were totally back to normal pre-bcp cycles.

Welcome Kimmy!! I'd try to go by what your pre-birth control periods were, so when was your last bleed? If you are a regular 28 day cycle, where would that put you now?

Linds-I started getting o pains after stopping bcp. Some women can still get a random ewcm after O, but there is a chance that your follicular phase is beginning to shorten, which could explain why the earlier date of ewcm.

My last bleed not counting the withdrawal bleed was feb 18th-22nd.

Now I'm starting to notice more pregnancy symptoms... I doubted that it was anything but a friend urged me to test. I'm going to wait until tomorrow morning.

That is exactly what I was about to tell you. If it is still negative, it could be the changes in hormones since ending birth control, but fx'd that your symptoms are pregnancy related!! Let us know how it goes Good luck hun!

Well I took a test this morning, and got what I think is my first 'evap'... a little pinky but very pale (if I ovulated it would be 12dpo)

Really???? Omg. I was so sure I didn't ovulate! I so hope it is, but that does scare me a little because I am still taking these Norethisterone (Progesterone) tablets, and it says they are not safe in pregnancy. Also, if I stop taking them, I might get a big drop in Progesterone (and cause a flush out including a baby, if one is in there!!).

I might test again tomorrow morning and call the doctor if the line is still there/darker. Could be just a fluke test though, but I can definitely see some pink in there, and everything I have googled says that evaps don't have colour.

I think it's a great sign even if it's faint tomorrow you should call the Dr, maybe even do it today and just explain you're testing tomorrow but if it's still there you need to know the best course of action asap!

Is there something special about the progesterone you're taking? Some women are given it in early pregnancy to help their body not cause a MC i have a tub at home I'm too nervous to use because I wouldn't know what to do if I got pg when using it but you're making me want to try it let me know!

To be honest, I don't know. I went to the doctor and asked for a course of progesterone to bring on AF. I was so fed up, because I had been waiting all that time, I finally thought I had ovulated, and then I had 3 days with no temp rise. That's what pushed me over the edge and caused me to go and get the prescription. I just wanted to get into a new cycle.

Now I wonder if I would have seen a rise regardless of taking the progesterone...

Not sure why she gave me this version of progesterone over any other....

Sorry a little late with mine.

BCP - Leveln ED, stopped January 2014 after 9 years on it. Still waiting for first cycle.

A little update as well, I started acupuncture yesterday. The person who I saw is focused on women's fertility and also offers Chinese Herbal Medicine. Feeling very positive about balancing my hormones and starting a regular cycle. There is a strong possibility that I did ovulate last Tuesday. Temps, OPK, and secondary signs indicate that I have.

Here is hope that we all get BFP very soon!

wtbam-that test looks pretty good to me. I don't think that evaps usually have any color to them, typically they are white or gray looking, so all things are pointing positive right now for. I'd def. test again tomorrow and call your doc if you have any hint of a line.

ASM, temp dropped this morning and had two very very negative tests. Pretty sure we already lost our little monkey Having a really bad morning, this was the closest we'd been, was cautiously hoping this might finally be it. I tried so hard to keep it together, the second dh left for work I completely lost it. Thinking that stupid will be here tomorrow or Thursday now.
