Stopping BCP to TTC***Updates & Progress/Noted Changes Since Stopping BCP***24BFPs***

100 days after stopping BC, AF has finally arrived! Never thought I would be so excited haha! Hopefully I will slip straight into a normal cycle with the help of my acupuncturist so we can get out BFP one day soon.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

YAY!!!:happydance: Crazy how excited we can get when AF arrives sometimes. Here's to hoping you have a great and super lucky cycle :)

That's great Steph! Sometimes getting AF is the relieving part for post bcp ttc'ers :)

I'm doing well, 2 dpo now and going to start using the progesterone cream thanks to Wtbam and her inspiring story :) since I have short LP I will take it til 14dpo although I expect af to come before that anyway!

How is everyone else doing in their cycle? Any in 2ww? Not too far from bd for a couple of you :flower:

yayayay! I'm actually ovulating! I'm sure of it now!!!

I totally have EWCM too...check out my journal for pics...I was excited...lol

Congrats, wnt2beamom!!

Patience- I'm currently in the TWW. I think i have a short luteal phase as well, although this month I seemed to have o'd 2 days earlier, so maybe it's changing for me. Where did you purchase the cream? I may try that next cycle if I dont get my bfp!

Yay check out that opk! :happydance:

Hmm mine was from a swedish online shop but it's called Progesterall by John Lee :)

Thank you Twinkie and Patienceiav! Hopefully this is your month Patienceiav! Keep us updated if you decide to use progesterone cream.

Very exciting Wnt2beAMom! All the best for this month!

Just rubbed the first blob into my wrists, thought I'll start with 2 applications a day then go to 4 like the tube says :) will be really interesting to see how fast my bbt changes.!

Heya! Yes I have finally, thanks :) i got my chart back in my sig, it was a bit gappy last month! The weird thing is that the past 2 months I've had high pre ov temps so the rise after ov looks bad, thankfully the cream is pushing this one up a bit :)

My mum surprised me yesterday by telling me her Dr suspected her off having low progesterone, I nearly cried with relief that I'm not just self diagnosing/or crazy, then frustration kicked in that the drs won't do anything till I hit the 1 year mark when something so simple as progesterone prescription could fix it all? So so glad I'm taking the cream now! Though I do have a rotten cold as of yesterday :(

Oh fab. And not to get your hopes up, but your chart looks VERY similar to mine, and around implantation I got a STINKER of a cold, which I am just getting rid of now.... I wondered whether it was something to do with the hormones suppressing my immune system! I'm not being dramatic but it was the worst cold I've ever had!

It's amazing that 8 months on I'm still learning stuff :) apparently progesterone breaks down your immune system, something to do with your body not taking any pregnancy as a virus to get rid of :) i get a cold every 2ww which is a little tiring!

I got my blood progesterone result back today, it was taken on Wednesday morning at 4w5d pregnant, and they were 42. I've researched it and that looks to be a good number, so with that combined with the fact my BBT is staying high, I'm happy to taper from 10mg to 5mg Progesterone tablets on Sunday :)

That's really good news :) will they test again before you stop completely so you can see if it's going down or staying on track?

I just realised the cream I have doesn't say how much there is per dose! I can't seem to find it online either, it's meant to be a pretty well known brand... I suppose it's working regardless, but it would be nice to know how much I'm using!

They wouldn't have given me this one if I hadn't forced them to, so I will go back just before I stop taking the tablets completely in about 20 days and force them to give me another one lol!

Patience- I saw that you mentioned the 1 year mark. I dont think all doctors follow that rule. I met with my obgyn last week and she said she doesn't like to wait that long and if after 6 months nothing has happened i can get tests done if i'd like. Have you asked your doctor already? I'm sure you have!

Spoken to two drs and my gyno, I clearly need another opinion! I did contact another gyno centre and told them in taking the cream and they said if I got my bfp they would help me from there, I really should try to squeeze a test out of them!
