Stopping BCP to TTC***Updates & Progress/Noted Changes Since Stopping BCP***24BFPs***

Ooh let me see. I have never had an evap, no matter how long I left before looking at the test. Although never used an opk to test for pregnancy?

I call it an evap cuz i went back to it after so long, you're meant to give them up to 10 mins but i managed half before deciding it was blank :) anyway I started spotting just before bed so now I'm just waiting for more during the day, as always happens day before af my boobs are hardly sore any more and I'm cramping :( looks like the progesterone did nothing but I'm gonna keep taking it till full flow.

It seems strange that the cream can force my temps to stay high but not stop af? She'll even be a day early this month, it's definitely not implantation :(

I know you are spotting, but I wouldn't write it off yet. That line may be because you have a small amount of LH in your system. Throughout the 4 months I waa doing opk's and waiting for something to happen, they ranged from stark white to pale pink lines.

It would be nice to hope but this has been the start of every af since ttc :(

Am at the Dr now trying to get better at least, but I'm in queue so can't run to check my spot progress :haha:

Ah bugger, got morphine cough mixture so I did a pg and opk test when I got home but both were stark white :(

I just don't get how I can spot at 9-10 dpo (which will mean af) when taking progesterone, my temps are still high? Maybe it's the virus making me warm :( it's still too early damnit!

Hi ladies! I'm just waiting to O. A lot going on in life right now so I've just been stalking. ;-)

Hi All,

I'm back at it- Cycle day 3 hear. I"m taking vitamin B complex this time around to see if it will help lengthen my luteal phase. I also just spoke to my doctor and am going in for some blood work next week to check my thyroid. I could have thyroid problems causing my short/light periods. My mom has hypo hypothyroidism so it wouldn't surprise me if I do too!

Baby dust everyone!

Well there comes my rather feeble AF :( Drs here in sweden are AMAZING when you hit the 1year mark (according to my friend), it's all free except for some meds you have to buy, they'll do all kinds of tests but if you're before that year mark they'll ignore you completely.

I have late Ov, short LP, light periods and get sick every 2ww and they won't do a thing :(

I'm not sure if I should keep at the prog. out of spite to try and make my dumb body realise it shouldn't have a period 10days after ov :( i'm so angry ! We could have had an actual baby by now and that's a really sour thought.

SOrry your AF came :(
But I am on the same page. Late Ov and short LP, and light periods! I just spoke to my doctor about this and that is why I am getting my thyroid checked. Although, I dont think that is my issue. Have you read about taking vitamin B6 or B complex to lengthen the LP? I did and and trying that this cycle!
How long have you been trying?

Yes, curious if you've looked into taking a bcomplex vitamin patience? Like Linds said, it can help lengthen LP, I've seen lots of great results with it here on BnB, it make take some time to build up in your system, but seems like most women can gain 2 days within 2-3 cycles. It has loads of other great benefits too, I take it even and I'm not trying to lengthen LP.

Thanks :( i tried for a couple of months but here the absolute max you can get in tablet form is 15mg, means swallowing a whole lot of pills! Think I'll look on amazon and send it to my mum as I'm going to the UK in 2 weeks, I don't mind taking it up again :) think I'll go for the 50mg ones, it's just a little strange considering the RDA is about 2mg so it looks pretty extreme on paper.

Been trying for 8 months, this is now month 9.

I see! I'm going onto my 6th cycle after getting off BCP. Hopefully this is our lucky cycle! It can take some time for some couples even if both are healthy! I'm just struggling with when to start doing something about it. Like when should my husband get a semen analysis done and all that? I wish it were as easy for me as it has been for others.

Baby dust to everyone!!

Just a little update guys, I'm 6 weeks today so took another CB digital with FMU and got the coveted "3+". So going to stop doing tests now in case I get the 'hook effect' which would thoroughly stress me out!

How is everyone else getting on. Prachiepie, I know people have mentioned this before, but I have read about good results with Vitex and the B Vitamins in lengthening the luteal phase. I wonder why the Progesterone didn't work - whether the cream isn't as strong as the tablet form?

That's great seeing the 3+! :) good idea to quit now to save yourself the stress :)

Maybe the cream needed to be in larger amounts, it's just strange that it seemed to work till 9dpo then bam, back to 10 day lp when I normally have 11. :(

I'm going to go back to drinking fertilitea, gonna mass buy it and send to my mum to pick up when I'm over :D I at least got my ov cd16 once with it instead of 22-23 now without. Hubby likes to do it the natural way but if taking a bunch of herbs in a drink works then why not? Gonna start that next month since I'm away till cd14 and don't want an early ov :haha:

I'm also going to take up acupuncture, it's gonna cost a bomb but i think I have a hormonal imbalance, seeing as high estrogen = late ov and low progesterone = short lp, it's kinda yin and yang plus getting sick every tww I think it can really help!

I also have pomegranate juice, royal jelly and baby aspirin to plump up my lining :D putting that all together sounded really extreme! But I'd prefer that over needing fertility treatments :(

Random, but certain foods mimic oestrogen so can make it worse (like Soy!). I used to drink Soya milk but stopped as soon as I realised!

Yes, I've read the same thing about soy and some foods mimicking estrogen, something to look into.

Yeah I barely drink milk or eat cheese but I should look up what else can affect it, I have maca at home but I'm so bad at having a smoothie with it in each day!

BFN today at 9dpo. I really wanted to give DH a positive test for his birthday. I think I might just wait until my missed period now. But our chances are thin from the lack of bding we did, but now I'm all of a sudden sad at seeing a bfn.

I don't have any spotting but my main symptoms are cramps, sensitive nipples, and kind of nauseous/dizzy.

I feel so impatient, I just want answers...are these just my typical 2ww symptoms or preg. symptoms. I won't know until AF or a bfp...

Fx'd it's still too early. What tests are you using, some are much less sensitive than others.
