Yes, getting off of BCP could be a real pain in the butt at first since the hormones are still adjusting but hang in there! There are even ladies here who get their bfp as soon as a month off of bcp, so there is hope.

We're TTC baby#1 too and this is our TTC Lucky Cycle 3!

It feels like time is really dragging this cycle, cd11 and not a whiff on opk so guess I'm back to my usual late ovulation

I didn't have many pregnancy symptoms in the tww other than sore nipples, af cramps and cramps when I had an orgasm!

I used to worry I was taking my much needed ewcm away so I had to force myself to stop checking internally!

all good here, I have my 12 week scan on the 10th June, I am currently 10 w 5 d and all seems to be going well!

Well, the af-like cramps I have experienced last cycle is totally MIA now and I am only 3days away from af's due, I'm crossing my fingers that this is a good sign! I'm missing the "sore bbs" symptom although my bbs look full now..

I usually ov cd23 but the post chemical cycle I O'ed cd15, maybe it'll change but normally I have faint lines on opk for a week before ov, fingers crossed for an early ov to get it out the way before our chances this month get shot by the Fertility specialist!

Hopefully this is a good sign for you, every month my body came up with something new for me to obsess over so I gave up who's smart idea was it to have af and pregnancy feel the same!? Curse you mother nature!

Thanks Jessica, leading into ovulation for the first time off the pill I felt really sick and EMOTIONAL! Haha I didn't realise until after to use them as O signs as well as the obvious cm changes. I wish I hadn't used so many opks my first cycle when really if you just watch for EWCM that is the biggest clue. The positive came the day after my first sighting of it. And it was for sure just like egg whites! I also had cm that was very smooth but white like a waterd down toothpaste the day before ew. I'd keep an eye on those kinds of symptoms to increase before using up tests...

Well ive had the OH home for 4 days so plenty of bd but doesnt seem like ov is going to happen soon, OH is away now for another 2 weeks.
No change in cm so i doubt its going to happen for another week or so. I bought some cheapo opks a few days ago so i don't spend a fortune on the good ones

patience-lucky you moving O up, mine was 4 days later than usual, I was going nuts thinking maybe my thermometer was broken, but it finally happened on cd19, now all I can think is I should be 6dpo, rather than 2dpo Oh well, it is what it is. If this cycle is a bust, I am going in for bloods and an ultrasound to see if anything is wrong.

It's so unbearably frustrating having a later ov than usual when mine was going between cd16-23 it was killing our bd from all the extra time we had to try! It's such a relief to get those crosshairs and be done with it

Mermaid you must be close to testing now? Don't leave it a week late like your oh says we need to know

Jess any luck? As long as you keep the bd up it won't matter what the OPK's say

I've started to get a shadow on my opk now, I'm suddenly desperate to ov before cd18 since cd19 I have the specialist and don't know if we need to abstain for hubby's swimmer check etc :s bring on the ov!

OH is away, he went away the day before my first proper positive opk, and day after OV i've come down with thrush...oh the joys...not sure how thrush meds affect anything if at all but i'm not feeling lucky this month

Patience, any updates on O yet? Fx, chick! Wouldn't hurt if you at least bd every other day perhaps to cover your bases?

Jess, I sound just like you! When I get a lil bit sick, I think my meds could affect ttc, lols. Hang in there, hun! xx

So I am two days away from af now. Feeling a bit excited and anxious! Two pimples popped and are now sitting comfortably on my forehead (my regular pre-af symptom) so I'm already feeling out. BUT I don't have any cramps that I usually get at least 5days before af shows... so there's hope again. And for the first time ever, I had tacky, yellow, snot-like cm when I peed earlier! (No foul smell tho, sorry for the ulk TMI!) Wth is that??

Mermaid, i'm keeping my fx for you for that bfp!

Hoping the meds wont make a difference but went with pessary as read online they give that to pregnant people for it and don't reccomend the tablet so figured stick with that...

I got accepted onto the clearblue fertility trial today, so i get 3 months of ov tests, if i dont get preg at end of them they give me another 3 months and if i do i get £30 shopping vouchers... Love a good freebie...and will justify my poas addiction haha

I'm CD3 now and AF has come back with a vengence! Anyone else have a reeeeally heavy AF the first month after coming off mirena?

Ladies I have a question! ! So I'm on CD51 (I'm 9 days late ) I've not ever had a cycle this long and my cycles have been normal in the sense that they are regular and 42 days long. I tested on Wednesday and got a BFN. Any ideas on what on earth is going on?? I have some random pains on my left side but no AF and I'm really confused.

CC2-what is the longest cycle you've had? What is your normal LP? Were you really stressed at any point this month? Did you confirm O to know that you didn't possibly ovulate later than usual this month???(this is the one I'd lean towards being the issue)

Twinkie my longest cycle is 42 days. I dont chart so I cant confirm anything. And we are camping on vacation so I cant exactly start yet lol.

The last positive opk I got was May 13th. Even if that was when I O'd then I would have gotten AF by now. Im usually a 13 day LP.

It is possible to gear up to O and then not O, so if you quit using opks, there is a chance that you had another surge. I would give it another day or two then test again if still no AF. Hoping it's something as simple as late O and you are about to get your BFP!! Fx'd for you I can't help but wonder if your random pains are implantation possibly?? Hope so!

May 13th was the 3rd time I got a positive opk. First was April 25th second was May 8th 3rd was May13th. I didnt bring any with me on our trip so not sure since the negative one I had on may 15th.
