Stopping BCP to TTC***Updates & Progress/Noted Changes Since Stopping BCP***24BFPs***

Good luck Charlie!

And huge congrats on all the BFPs!

And Twinkie, try not to worry too much, it is more than likely nothing sinister, although I know how hard it is! (I definitely refer to the first trimester as the "twelve week wait" lol!!!

Boy does that seem like that is really going to be what it is too!!! I guess I'll do the glass half full and say already past the half way point....except this is probably the easiest point, but I know each day gets better in terms of mc risks, so feeling good about seeing the hb right now and just reveling in that.

I will try to keep up a little better again ladies, I am probably going to cut back on some of the other threads I'm in just so save myself some time (I don't even attempt to keep up with the March-mallows, that is insane how quickly it moves) because at the end of the day, I care about the ladies I've been following and going through this with and I hope to see all of you get your bfps!! We are getting there, it started out slow, but we've gotten quite a few recently, I'm hoping August brings a few more for us too!! <3, Luck and :dust: to all of you waiting!

♡ twinkie you're so sweet! I really am thankful for all you ladies! It would be so much harder without you guys! :-)

How is everyone else doing? I'm trying like crazy not to get my hopes up too high for this cycle. But it's getting difficult lol. :-)

I'll do it for you then!!! I know how crushing it is when you think this is going to be it and it turns out not to be, but don't give up hope, one day it will happen!!! And I hope more than anything it can be sooner rather than later :)

Twinkie, this might not be the sort of thing that will help, but when I was in my early days I checked the rate-of-miscarriage-by-day website every morning, it was soooo reassuring to see the percentage go down every day!

Glad I'm not the only crazy one who did this! I hit 5 weeks today and thought well at least its not a chemical. Honestly I have to say my DH tells me I need to stay off of here bc I don't think I would worry as much if I didn't see so many women going through it on here. No one in my family has ever had a mc (not that it means I won't of course) so it just wasn't on my mind as much before.

Yeah... I went from not believing the test, to worrying about a chemical, to worrying about an ectopic, to worrying about a blighted ovum, to worrying about a missed miscarriage!

The old timers on this thread will back me up on how bad I was! It was awful, completely obsessed with losing the pregnancy. I actually moved over from the 1st trimester forum to the 2nd trimester forum early because I found 1st tri far too stressful - almost every other post is about bleeding, miscarriage and loss!

I don't think you were any worse than anyone else is that encounters problems Wtbam. besides you had such a history going into your pregnancy, who wouldn't be terrified! And yes, I am that person that is reassured by looking at those numbers going down! I think it's a comfort because you have no way of really knowing anything in between doctor appointments.

I know what your DH means Twinkie. About how knowing how common loss is can actually just add to the stress.

I really wish my doctors hadn't told me I have an increased risk of MC due to my EDS - I wish I just didn't know so when I get a BFP I can just be excited. I had a chemical about a year ago when we weren't even trying but other than that I have no history.
Seeing that rates for everybody are 10-20% and knowing that I have an "increased risk" is stressful. How increased? What percent? I buy scratch off lotto cards and I have won money on cards with worse odds than that!

Hey ladies, I haven't been keeping up here much lately, been super busy with softball state tournament (we won!) Etc... but here I am CD43 with no af yet. Went to the hospital Monday night extremely dehydrated from the weekend and whatnot and test there came back negative. Thinking about starting opks again just in case because I clearly didn't ovulate with the last +opk but I really don't want to waste my money and I've had zero signs of O anyway. Really hoping this first cycle ends soon.

cdex - what pill were you on? I hope you don't have a repeat of my circumstances - nearly 200 days before my first ovulation post pill! (Thankfully I caught it!)

Congrats on the win cdex! I hope O or AF comes soon for you and your cycles straighten out!

Cdex keeping my fingers crossed for you!

I had my blood drawn today to confirm if I ovulated. Praying I did and that I caught the eggie! :-)

Thanks twinkie! I'm dying to know the test results! You would think I could get them the same day since my dr office is in the hospital. Lol. Hoping they call tomorrow!

I got a copy of my results for hormone levels. They say everything is in normal range but curious if you ladies think anything could improve and help my chances? Here are my results.

These were done with blood taken on CD3

LH : 8.3

FSH: 5.6

PROLACTIN, SERUM: 22.4

ESTRADIOL: 35.11

Thanks ladies! Wtbam- my last pill I was on was ortho tri cyclen lo for about 10-11 months. I started bcp when I was 16 with cyclessa, then the ring, then I did one cycle of depo and HATED it so back to the ring and then the otcl.

Hi ladies!!!

Sorry I've been so absent, things have been so busy!! Luckily I'm not feeling any tiredness (yet) so I've been able to tolerate the chaos!
The only part of me I feel is suffering so far is my work outs. I've barely walked into the gym before I'm out of breath! :growlmad:

Anyway I hope you are all doing fabulously, and Charlie I have my FX for you that you got that egg!!!:thumbup:

Ladies with BFPs - did you have ib and if so what was it like? Unsure if AF has arrived at only 6-7dpo or if I could be having ib?

No IB for me mint, but I did have a fair amount of odd cramping and what I referred to as odd nigglies cause I didn't know what else to call it, but 6/7 dpo would be spot on for it, so I'm hoping that's what it is in your case!

I didn't have any IB either but I had cramping from about 5DPO onwards :)
