Hey all! I'm brand new to TTC and stopped my BCP on July 3rd then had AF July 7-11. I was looking for some answers because I began spotting/bleeding light today (CD 24). I haven't been temping but my "estimated ovulation" was around July 21st. Has anyone else had oddly short cycle??

Still crossing my fingers for y'all! Cdex I hope you get a big surprise when you test. And Charlie I'm so sorry you're dealing with that craziness, but hopefully you can get your body all sorted out soon.

Britt- Maybe its implantation bleeding? Or your body could just be trying to get your cycles straight after the pill. Good luck!

Twinkie - very happy to see that ticker there!! I will go back through all the posts shortly to bring myself upto speed with everyone.

I used my doppler last night and had a listen to baby, was lovely to hear. Scans on the 14th Aug so will be a bit over 13 weeks then.

Awww Jessica - yay for the Doppler and loving the bump pic!

Britt - I just went off end of may and my cycles have been pretty nonsensical. I have never previously spotted in my life other than once when I had a chemical pregnancy a year or two back.

I had a 6 day AF/withdrawal bleed and a 34 day cycle then an 8 day AF which dragged on into days of never ending spotting then a 29 day cycle on which I got a positive OPK on CD23 followed by one day of light flow AF, one day of Medium flow, one more day of light and then 2 days of spotting - all with absolutely no cramps/headaches or any of my usual PMS symptoms. Very non-predictable.

My point is (if you are still reading - sorry long) that going off BC is crazy and your cycles might be erratic and you might just spot and bleed at crazy and unpredictable times and it is just confusing and sucky overall.
Or...maybe you are really lucky and it is IB after all! (I hope so!)

Thank you guys! Well it's def AF sooo back to CD1! I may start charting temps but when I got pregnant with my DS, I was only off the pill a month! Btw just realized this is under TTC#1, my bad!! FX for everyone and baby dust to you all

Hi all, can I join? I've spent some time catching up on all 145 (!) pages of this thread, and now ready to post! I think I'm kind of crazy because after reading through months of posts from you guys, I already feel like I know you all! Ha!

Anyways, I took my last pill at the end of June, had withdrawal bleeding 6/29-7/3, then had my first AF post pill 7/26-7/29. Currently on our 2nd cycle ttc, just waiting for O. I haven't been temping or anything yet, just trying to give it a few months to see how things go before I start down that road. I was pretty sure I ovulated on CD14 of my last cycle based on the cramping I felt, which would make sense with when AF appeared (13 days later on CD27). I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my cycles stay this "normal", as clearly coming of BCP can do some wacky things! And the last time I was off the pill my cycles were only around 20-22 days long, so I was very relieved to have a longer one (so far anyways!)

I started BCP 15 years ago and have been on many different ones since then. I had about a 2 year break in there, and was back on them about 7-8 years this last time. I was on Yaz when I first went back on, and finished on Portia.

Britt - I did the same, I'm preg with #2 now. I searched bcp and came to this thread and took me.weeka before I realised it was meant to be a #1 thread. Lol. Oops.

Min - thank you. Doppler was a nice reassurance as whilst away had no symptoms. But then yesterday morning sickness and jetlag both appeared. Not impressed to say the least!

I got another positive OPK this morning. I'm on CD 33 And I have my blood test tomorrow. so I'm hoping that I actually Ovulate this time around. It's getting really frustrating. So I should know Monday or Tuesday what the blood test says.

No idea whats going on in this body of mine. *sigh* I think after next week I'm going to request that we take the medication route and see what happens with that.

Not yet, I'm worried that she will tell me she can't do anything until I've missed 3 months which is still a ways away. I really should just call her, she's amazing, I'm just worried it will be pointless.
