*~*The Journey has just begun for us ladies! Sticking together since 2010!!*~*

Hi Ladies!

I'm totally new to all this.

I'm 30 (today actually!!) and I stopped cerazette 22 days ago and got AF yesterday which was a huge relief after some of the stories I've read about that particular BC.

Hubby and I are planning to start TTC in Jan, which seems AGES away to me atm. The only consolation is all the blue cheese and pate I'm gonna eat at xmas ;-)

Lisa xx

Welcome!! And Happy birthday!!! Not much longer!! :D

Hi all!
I'm a forum virgin so you'll have to excuse me! My partner and I are planning to start ttc in January after (or during!!) our holidays! Super excited already!

Hey ladies,

Just wondering...do any of you have a clear blue fertility monitor? Are you planning to get one when TTC?

I don't have one, and I know it's a bit early to be going down this route, but have been reading threads on TTC about them and they seem to have helped lots of ladies get their BFP.

I'm just wondering whether it's worth getting one whilst WTT in order to get used to your cycles and ovulation days before TTC, or whether it's a total waste of money and it's better to wait and see....

I'm getting totally ahead of myself.....only just got first AF after stopping BC and it's made me a bit crazy :headspin: :winkwink:

I used some OPKS for a while then found the book TCOYF and never used another OPK again.

Hi Lisa! I don't have one but I don't plan on buying on either. I don't really have a normal 28 day cycle so I'm still learning things as I go...but I don't want to put so much pressure on us right away. I want us to ttc on our own for the first few months, if we don't have any success then I'll move on to things like that to help guide us.

This is our first child so we're extrememly new to the ttc word. But like I said before, I don't want to put pressure on us right away. I want it to still be fun! Not that using other tools isn't fun for some...but I don't want to take away from our first time ttc excitements and what nots.

*sigh* we still don't have anywhere to live yet, so January is looking more and more unlikely for me :( We did have an offer on a house, but the vendors have taken it off the market.

Back to square one! If we don't go for it in January/February time we're probably going to hold off until June/July time just because on the off-chance that we fell straight away, I wouldn't want a baby born in the depths of winter like I was! So depressing!

My winter baby was sooo much easier pregnancy wise than my summer babies
Delivery in 100 degree heat sucks even if youa re in an airconditioned hospital.
Hot flashes in 104 degree heat sucks!
But I will take a baby when ever god gives me one.
What is depressing about a winter birthday??
My birthday is in December

I'll be joining you ladies!! :happydance::happydance:
I had a few things we needed to take care of before TTC #2 and it looks like they're being met! :happydance:
My OH needed a job as he lost his in April. I was beginning to lose hope, but he got one and started this week! This will give him 3 months work before we start trying, that should give him a good idea on whether this will be where he wants to stay, how things are working etc...
I also needed to address my physical issues (chronic pain), I'm going to see a specialist in November.
AND we are getting married in January....hmmm...honeymoon baby??
Was hoping my son would fully sleep through the night before we start trying, so will have to get on that ASAP!!

Hello ladies,

I love winter babies. My youngest is a December baby. But then again I am in Texas so it rarely gets cold here. LOL
