Zomo, was hoping you'd be well into labour by now too! Do you not think you'll go before induction? Why are you being induced?
I've been for a mammoth walk today following lots of mucous loss and am now in the bath with a bad bk. ouch!

Cornish I am praying she decides to come before the induction next friday!! Have had enough now!!!! I think that the snow coming down here may tempt fate as fate hates me at the moment - in the last few days my oven died, my microwave partially broke, my partners car broke down at work last night, the broadband died yesterday, now my partner has my car at work too, the snow is coming down, he is there til midnight and I am imagining he will be snowed in with both cars and I will go into labour!!!

I am being induced because of the gestational diabetes, not that they are even monitoring it anymore as the test results are so low!!!

I think she has dropped to become engaged now in the past couple of days as I get bad back spasms and feel like I need a wee all the time when I really dont!!!

Great news that she has engaged zomo but not gd about all those things going wrong. Some friends of mine text due to the snow saying I would go into labour to cause problems-I'm not feeling it at all and think he will be there for a while. I hope you don't go into labour unless you can get to hosp safely-did you consider a natural home birth?!?xx

I hope I dont go into labour either!!! Our estate is on top of a hill which can be a bit of a nightmare to access in the snow!!!! We are about 10 minutes from the hospital on a normal day just zipping up the fast A road nearby, I saw the gritters out on it earlier so that will prob be ok, its just getting on or off the estate that may be a problem. In a dire emergency I may have to call in a work favour (we are both police) for any officers out with a work 4x4 to get up the hill to pick us up to get us to hospital!!! I had not ever considered a home birth, lets just hope she stays put, she seems quite comfy in there at the moment, no indications yet that she wants to come out into the cold!!

well, it was fun coming on here and seeing that Heather had her baby! I hope not hearing from Jen means she is busy with her baby as well! Woody~yeah, for holding your baby sooner rather than later!
I absolutely LOVE that time b/t weeks 37-40. The anticipation is so exciting. It's like waiting for your pregnancy test to turn positive!

Me - GET OUT BABY!!! Am fed up, impatient and ready to get this going, COME ON!!!!!

Had mega nesting this morning and spent hours just fiddling and moving stuff around the nursery. I have got my day planned tomorrow of boring cleaning out my pets for the last time before baby comes and super dull organising and clearing the airing cupboard to ram full of 'all the baby crap you have bought which we dont need' according to OH!!

Yeah but she is full of trickery at the moment, she teases me with a load of symptoms and then ..... nothing!!!! Grrr!!!! Would be nice for her to start coming tonight though so OH has to clean out my bunnies and chinchillas for me hahaha!!!

Woody is still in early stages of induction and lo is back to back-I'm sure she would welcome advice.

Bugger all happening my end!! Had my last midwife appt today, baby is engaged, just got to wait and see if she decides to appear before she is kicked out by inducing on Friday! Come on........lets meet you sooner.......have had enough now, had to sit next to a pensioner on a bench in Asda earlier as I couldnt stand up any longer!!!!!!

I am having a C-section at 10am central USA time tomorrow (2-8-12). Baby is HUGE and I have pre-eclampsia so they think it would be best for me, baby and my va-ja-ja to have a C-section.
