I have always lived somewhere pretty except for when I moved to the UK and I found it so hard only seeing other houses and no nature. I have never taken this for granted though. I grew up on the mountain in the background too and it was even more beautiful.

This is the view from our living room window. We have this building in front that homes some sort of business. I have no idea what they do in there but thankfully they're quiet people and don't disturb much when the windows are open.

This is the view out of my front room. Behind those trees is a steam railway! When the trees are full of leaves you can only see the trains flickering through the gaps but in winter you can get a really lovely view. The girls love it.

I lived in London for years and had some truly terrible views! I am very grateful for this one.

Although those steam trains make quite a racket sometimes...
