Fil is still in hospital, really hoping that he is ok and able to come to flynns party especially since it's being held in his house and we all had a stomach bug on flynns first Christmas so didn't really enjoy it.
Flynn walked!!!!! He took a few steps on Saturday, has refused to do it since but just walked for his auntie. He's growing up so fast he seems to learn something new everyday.

It's ok its back up, crisis averted!

Hope your FIL gets out of hospital in time and yay for Flynn walking!

I'm a little worried. Got a letter from the hospital yesterday asking me to come in on the 18th for a capsule endoscopy but got a phone call today saying that the doctor has suddenly decided its urgent and they're bumping me up to monday??!! They haven't told me why its urgent, or given me the results of the CT scan, so rather worried about what could make it so urgent.

I hope so too, they've lowered his oxygen supply so he can breathe for himself a bit better. They think he's got bacterial pneumonia or a really bad chest infection. Either way his lungs keep filling with fluid, he's having a scan today to find out if it's under control or not.

Fil isn't ok. It's cancer. It's in his lung kidneys and hip bones, they're discussing what to do next but I don't think it's hopeful long term.

I don't know what to think at all. They don't seem to be rushin with anything and they say he can probably go home tomorrow, just to come back for a biopsy. They don't know how bad it is yet
Its all just happened, dh is out with his sister letting relatives know and mil is apparently hysterical. Fil hasn't really got his head round it yet we don't think, he asked if he could go back to work soon, the McMillan people are coming tomorrow to discuss how their bills will get paid.
Don't even know what to do about flynns birthday.

I want to, we were taking him to a Thomas te tank engine event the weekend after too and I think we still should, to make memories and take lots of photos. There's still a chance that he'll beat it but at 64 I don't think the percentage is very high.
