First time I checked he'd climbed out & fallen asleep on the floor *heart melting*
Next time he was right on the edge & when I covered him up he rolled out. Mini freak out but his eyes were shut before he hit the pillow again.

Since then I've not heard a peep. Success methinks.

Also... OH, why did you think Joshy would wanna watch Doctor Who! Silly boy he's not interested at all.

Aww cute, Flynn didn't seem bothered at all lol, he's got a bed guard up so can't roll out but he either didn't care or didn't even notice lol!
Nat, tmi I know but I get piles pretty bad (a couple have "popped" before, scary as... Lots of blood from the bottom) when they are sore try washing with water instead of wiping with paper it's less irritating, eat lots of fibre coz straining makes them worse and get a little stool to rest your feet on when you sit on the loo, I use the one Flynn has to reach the sink, it helps you go easier as its a more natural position.

TAKE DOWN THE FUCKING CHRISTMAS TREE IT'S ALMOST MAY.

That thing has been sitting there covered in lights and ornaments (and yes she turns the lights on all the time) since the end of November. It's awful. It's a real tree so it's all dry and crumbly and a TOTAL FUCKING FIRE HAZARD.



I posted photos of our evening there to facebook this morning and as I was editing them I had to stop and stare in disbelief at the FUCKING CHRISTMAS TREE that is still in the photos.

Seriously, I know you're busy etc but....

And FIL, you were obviously all in a tizzy about your men's group coming over since you did a bunch of things (recovered chairs, new mirror on one wall, moved the living room around) but you didn't think to TAKE DOWN THE DRY NASTY CHRISTMAS TREE????



I don't understand. It's been fucking EASTER already.

i just want to sleep.

toddler goes to bed at 7:30pm. i relax for a bit, unwind, visit with husband. then i go to bed, or try to, at 10pm.

toddler begins tossing and turning and nursing and flipping and flopping. keeps this up for an hour at least.

sleep.

husband comes to bed around 2:30am and wakes me up. attempt to fall back asleep - his coming to bed has disturbed toddler so she's tossing and turning.

sleep.

4am and there is noise and crashing and people talking outside the windows. lie there trying to ignore it and getting angry. get up to see what's going on. peek out the door - there are paramedics and firemen at an apartment down the way.
feel bad but also annoyed because IT'S FUCKING 4AM.

try to go back to bed. toss and turn. toddler wakes up at 5:30am, nurses for a while. then wants to get up at 6am.

GAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH. toddler is also being generally unpleasant this morning and THAT DOESN'T HELP.

I feel your pain starlit, we're having sleep issues here ATM too. Tonight he's waking every 1/2hr on the dot, but he's starting with a cold and keeps coughing so ill let him off.

We've had months of sttn which IMHO makes it feel worse when he's like this as I've had the promise of sttn and gotten used to it then it was snatched away :-/

Boo has decided she wants to scream blue murder everytime i take her to bed. Took me 2 hours last night of creeping slowly to her bedroom door before i escaped without her knowing. Ladies i feel your pain .

OH i really don't like you at the moment. I've not eaten since i got up this morning, it's now nearly 9pm and i've still not. So thank you for feeding, changing, watching the kids til i eat. I notice yours has gone missing off your plate and i see you're enjoying watching Legend on the TV. I could actually cry, my 5 mins of sitting down and Jnr starts to cry too.

We are winning in the sleep game. I resorted to the promise of a treat if she slept in her own bed all night... She did, so she got a pink football. So DH said she went down fine last night. Hopefully this is it!
I went out last night, got a but drunk and insisted we all went to the garage. (famous Glasgow student nightclub where I spent my youth) paying for it today with the fibromyalgia, in SO MUCH PAIN! I'm having my lie in today though so I'm just lying in pain, typing.

My damn legs hurt, the skin is really sensitive and burns whenever anything touches it Been going on for a week, went to the doctor on friday and he gave me an injection of ketorin which was supposed to work for a couple of days but it only lasted a day so the stupid burning pain came back yesterday
